The political blocs are looking for a way out to the crisis of choosing the prime minister

Baghdad / Al-Sabah

The political blocs in the House of Representatives are still searching for a way out of the crisis of choosing the new prime minister who is in line with its conditions and the specifications set by the demonstration squares, while representatives from different blocs counted that the only way out of the current crisis in the country - including the problem of choosing the prime minister - is to implement The road map advocated by the religious authority.
The MP from the Al-Fath Alliance, Ahmed Al-Kinani, confirmed in an interview with Al-Sabah that “the rational reference letter was very clear in the letters that I presented to the politicians to end the file of choosing the prime minister, because the country’s survival without a prime minister and the presence of these challenges is incorrect.” Pointing out that "the blocs are destined to resolve the file of the prime minister's candidate by this week," and added, "We call on all political blocs to have a word to resolve the file." In turn, the spokesman for the Sadikoun Parliamentary Bloc MP Naim al-Aboudi said: "The only and real way out is to implement the road map called for by the Marjaiya, knowing that there are basic issues that the Marjaiya has demanded and that have been largely achieved, such as the election law that was voted upon, as well as the law Electoral Commission. Baghdad - news

Today, Sunday, the representative of the Alliance of Forces, Yahya al-Muhammadi, considered the presence of the popular crowd inside the cities in violation of a previous Diwani order to remove it from it.

Al-Mohammadi said, in a statement published by an Arab newspaper, and seen by Al-Akhbariya: “The presence of the popular crowd inside the cities and their entrances is a contradiction to a previous order from the government that the crowd should be taken out of the cities and removed from the areas of contact with the citizens.”

He added: "There are complaints about the actions of some elements of the" crowd ", and what happened recently in the district of Al-Qaim in Anbar Province is" a reckless disregard of some of the elements of the tribal crowd, where they killed one of the students, and this work reflects negatively on the reputation of the crowd and must follow the directions that The Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces launched it on the necessity of removing the crowd from the territories.

Baghdad - news

Today, Sunday, resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi called for the termination of the caretaker government as soon as possible.

Abdel Mahdi said, at the end of his speech to the House of Representatives, on the current situation: "I call for the termination of the caretaker government as soon as possible and the formation of a new government."

Abdul-Mahdi recommended that parliament go to end the presence of foreign forces in Iraq.

And Abdul-Mahdi stressed: "We ask Parliament to study all the consequences before taking any decision regarding the American presence," noting that "it is in the interest of both countries to end the military presence in Iraq."

He added: Iraq is facing an urgent end to the troop presence or a timetable to end its presence, noting that "the conflict increased between the priorities of Iraq and Washington, which undermined confidence between the two parties."

He continued: "Before the assassination of Engineer and Suleimani in Baghdad, we had pressure tools and we lost an important part of it now," noting that "Iraq is facing an immediate end to the presence of the American forces or a return to the UN decision to be there."

Iraq's Allawi Says No Intention for Premiership Candidacy

BasNews 12/01/2020 - 21:24 Published in Iraq

ERBIL - Ayad Allawi, head of the Iraqi National Alliance, made it clear on Sunday that he had no intention for the country's premiership candidacy.

There were several rumors recently that Allawi was attempting to compete with other candidates for the post of future Iraqi prime minister.

However, the Iraqi leader, who previously served as the premier of the country, in a statement on Twitter rejected all the allegations.

He pointed out that it is a right for the people of Iraq to decide on a nominee for the position.

After weeks of anti-government protests, caretaker PM Adil Abdul Mahdi resigned from his position in hopes of addressing the evolving situation in the country.

What Maliki an the rest of his Iranian thieves seems to be overlooking is that 4000 pound elephant in the middle of the room. The protesters called for Mahdi to resign, does these idiots think they’ve changed their minds all of a sudden.
The problem I’ve always had with the protesters is they have no leadership or organization. They have given these crazy dates to get a new PM an that day comes an goes an nothing changes.

I’m afraid the can kicking will continue until an outside country or organization steps in with a temporary PM solution.

The Demonstrators have representative and Supreme backing them for change. These rollers just aren't listening enough. If the Demonstrators don't get a Non Affiliation with any party as Prime Minster, you will see protesting escalate. Constitutional time is against this GOI. It looks like a Temporary Government will be formed and the United Nations will oversee it..if they don't figure this out soon..Like later on this week...per the articles...
