This whole concept is laughable.  Here a few facts that can't be ignored.

1.  There are a lot of stupid people in the world

2.  There are a lot of evil people in the world

3.  There are a lot of weak people in the world

The Stupid will get controlled by the evil who will then run rough shod over the weak.  Once that starts to happen, the good people will band together and form a protection ring to help thwart the evil who control the stupid.  What is another name for a protection ring....... Government.

:bravo:

There are wolves.

There are sheep.

There are sheepdogs.

Which one are you?

All of this is based on an outdated (Newtonian) notion of people and of reality, but that's a whole other story and a whole other topic.. The Golden rule of Christianity (and some other ancient religions) exists for a reason. Do unto others as you would have them do to you, because we are all part of the same being. When you hurt someone, you're actually hurting yourself in a much deeper way.

Basically there is enough scientific evidence for the notion that we are not individuals apart from each other, but that we are part of one being.  One consciousness. This is called Monistic Idealism. Bernardo Kastrup (who has recently gotten his second PhD with a dissertation on this subject, calls this the transpersonal consciousness. But that's a whole other subject, even though it gives an explanation and a solution for what you are discussing here.Tom Campbell (author of My Big TOE [Theory of Everything]) also discusses similar ideas.gaining ground in scientific discussion.

Also, ever heard of the philosophy of liberty?

Some of Bernardo Kastrup's articles.

His dissertation: Kastrup, B. (2019). Analytic Idealism: A consciousness-only ontology. Doctoral Dissertation, Radboud University Nijmegen.

Quote

This is my second Ph.D. thesis, on ontology and philosophy of mind. It is not a paper per se, but contains a number of the papers below, plus an explanatory introduction and concluding remarks. My first Ph.D. thesis (2001) was on computer engineering and is not relevant to my philosophy work, at least directly. Therefore, it is not included here. This second thesis, on the other hand, articulates an analytic version of the ontology of idealism, according to which universal phenomenal consciousness is all there ultimately is, everything else in nature being reducible to patterns of excitation of this consciousness.

Like I said, that's a whole other theory, but once these ideas, which are more advanced than the Newtonian ideas we base our lives on become more well known in our common understanding of reality itself, there will be a lot less people trying to take advantage of each other or trying to do harm to each other.

You keep forgetting the HUMAN factor. There are evil people in the world that have no regard for property or life. They want it, the take it. You don't want them to have it, they kill you.

That is the very real and evil side to being a human. The Golden Rule does not apply to them.

Royalty and politicians back then, and politicians nowadays are a prime example of that. They use the government to do that.

I am not talking about politicians. I am talking about everyday evil people. It happens in a society even with out politicians.

I’m reminded of that poor college student walking in a park in NYC the other night and a 13 year old stabs her to death...... evil surrounds us.  Monistic idealism is what we as Christians call Heaven.  The garden of eden was designed to be that way but evil came in and destroyed it.  Heaven will be that way though because evil will be cast away.  As long as evil exists, monistic idealism has no chance of transpiring because humans don’t naturally see true value in others that differ from them.  We don’t see our differences as a plus but as a threat.  When Heaven comes for us, we will be one with the father and we will know as we are known and monistic idealism will be the norm.
