If all this wasn't so tragic, it would be great comedic satire.

It is pretty sad, is in it. This is just a huge goat rope that has been going on for sometime. The problem is that it has been left up to this President to clean this mess up. This should have been dealt with years ago. You and I have both served and I have my son in service now, as well as many others on this board. That whole areas is a cesspool. The next attack on us should see carpet bomb all high priority targets in Iran and let the Iranian citizens take over.

The political expert, Munqith Dagher, confirmed that Parliament will not issue any decision regarding the removal of American forces from Iraq during its session tomorrow, Sunday.

"It is very unlikely that the Iraqi parliament will pass a resolution to remove American forces from Iraq at its emergency session tomorrow," Dagher told Al-Akhbariya.

He explained that "Parliament will not make this step in appreciation of the political, economic and military consequences," noting that "Parliament will suffice to issue a strong statement of condemnation of the assassination of Engineer and Soleimani."

Their problem is if they were to vote us to be removed we would just set up in Kuwait and the Kuwaitis would get all the benefits.  They're dumb but not stupid.  They know who butters their bread. In fact they know we are the ones who give them their bread.

The Iranian loving  ticks in parliament are running low on blood to suck and know their days are numbered on this Iraqi camel. On second thought they're stupid too.

Irans leaders are in a pickle. So are the Iraqis. Vote the US out and the Iranians move in, take over country, oil revenues and press their thumb on the citizen protesters ala. Iran. With their influence in Syria, Lebanon, Egypt.....Israel is surrounded and threatened even more. It's a sh!t pot right now. The Iraqis were handed their chance to self rule back in 2003, and look what they've done. NOTHING!!  Now with a spineless GOI ruling class that steals every chance they get, the PEOPLE are the ones that have to make a choice. Time is now.

Be careful what you wish for.  If you want our forces out that bad, make sure you are able to fight the Iranian scourge on your own and win.  We may just take you up on your offer and let you fend for yourselves.  And we all know how that will end up.

Them dar Kurds be good allies, I sure do wish we treated them a bit better. It's sad to see America bully like this, we are better.

My prayers and thoughts go out to all in the service and those who have their children serving this once great nation, may cooler heads prevail.

God bless us all on this planet!!!

Love will always be stronger than hate, peace on earth.

oh yeah, RV please:crossedfingers:

05-01-2020 03:06 PM Political expert on the law to bring out US forces: It is not within the powers of Parliament to dictate the government

      Baghdad / news
The political expert, Bassel Hussein, stressed that Parliament has no right to issue decisions dictating to the government what to do.
Hussein said in a statement to "Al-Ikhbaria", that "it is not possible to cancel an agreement that was ratified by Parliament except by a law that recognizes two-thirds of votes, and this requires a first and second reading."
He added that "a decision cannot abrogate a law and the law can only be canceled by law, and it is not within the authority of Parliament to issue decisions nor to dictate to the government what to do, so its monitoring and legislation do."
