Greetings ID 8th.....several scriptures came to mind ("God breathed", etc., etc.) when I read the foregoing but someone who doesn't believe in God will not be able to believe the Holy Scriptures. Typically a first hand encounter with the one, true, living, God is required for a change of heart and mind, bringing illumination and understanding by the Holy Spirit. We continue in prayer for all to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

I think it would good for you to watch the short history of the democratic party presented by Prager University. It might just enlighten you a bit. Also, since you brought this us - not every religious person or conservative person is a hypocrite, but you can clearly see who the hypocrites are just by watching the recent hearings held, or watching the democrat debates, or the refusal to pass, or even allow a vote on, needed bi-lateral legislation needed for the welfare of the country. And medicare for all would bankrupt the country - 10 year cost well over $52 Trillion. The Dems are responsible for passing the failed Obamacare without really knowing what was in the bill...it was a tax from the beginning. The Republicans messed up the vote to appeal it because John McCain hated Trump so much that he cast the deciding vote that has caused the measure that would have allowed legislation to improve the healthcare system. Much more can be said, but I'll refrain.

As for my understanding of history it goes a bit like this, see how far I am: Homo Sapiens as we are today started running around this planet roughly 64,000 years ago. The garden of Eden or what you refer to as " the start of history" started roughly 10,000 years ago. This event coincided with what is also known as the agricultural revolution,  in the regions of Mesopotamia and the Egyptian Nile. It all started with civilizations that where controlled by god states, that is they believed the rulers of the time "be" gods. This belief has gone through transformation till today and what we see. Some call it an awakening to consciousness, others call it liberal, social agenda and so on. I will not argue with you good man, you have a right to stay "Conservative (resistant to change)", upset and made at the world. I will end my side of this conversation like this however. At NO time in history have we lived in such amazing caves, been able to do and explain some much of the world around us through trial an error. It has been ten thousand years of trial and error and an accumulation of knowledge that has brought us to this point. How we use this knowledge will make or break us and there is a strong need to bring people like you to start looking at what is, not what was. The future is not set in stone, we influence it greatly, if we believe the world will end in fire and brimstone, it will my friend If we believe this is beginning only the, that there is a future for our species on this planet and out into the universe, than there is. In the manner in which you communicate with me, feels as though your respect for me and my opinion are set and I have nothing to give or be learned from. If you know every thing it leaves no room to learn, that's sad because we are constantly learning new thins every day. If you don't believe me I invite you to look at some ACTUAL pictures of Jupiter!!! Unheard of when I was growing up, yet absolutely amazing and true. I, like you,I believe in a GOD, but I believe that God is love, the most powerful energy this world has to offer. Rock, I am not closed to discussion or conversation...but I'm a face-to-face, or a phone conversation person. However, much of your perception of history is what has been presented to us by our manipulated educational system, and a clouded world view controlled by elites, but in reality is incorrect - it's what is presented to us apart from the Biblical narrative, which is a HIStorical record of a relationship between a Loving Creator and His creation, and His plan to restore the broken relationship through Jesus Christ.

You're correct Rock - God Is Love, but He is a Personal Being (not just powerful energy or an it) who wants a relationship with each one of us. Everything He does is out of Love and His Goodness. That's why He allowed Jesus to die as the ultimate sacrifice for the sin of the human race, and to make a way for us to be forgiven our sin and have our relationship with Him restored (on a personal level). Jesus is God's ultimate love letter to all mankind. He paid the price we were unable to pay. This is foolishness to the world, but it is the Wisdom of God. Utah Rock , I agree with ronscarpa . You can have your opinion too. That is how it should be n the USA. We do not have to demonize or dehumanize people that do not think like us. Also, overall we should simply agree to be friends again after the election is over. With hopes of choosing a candidate that reps your views, then work to get them elected. Either way we may not get all we want, but as the songs says we will get what we need. Dems and Repubs must get back to doing the peoples business after each election. Taking foreign fighter lives to save American Military personnel lives.) that this POTUS has that we may not embrace 100%, 50%; but that these policy differences themselves are not crimes. They can see that if the Socialist and Deep State people get their way , then all who disagree with them can get falsely charged with something, all stop will be taken out, OUR right to due (equal) process , will get railroaded right into a jail cell ; or fall victim to a mugging gone bad or a hanging in a jail cell with no witnesses. This illustrates for me that this time we are in is as close to the need for the people to take up arms against a corrupt government that sells our sovereignty to outsiders for their personal gain, and trashes the government of the people, by the people and for the people.  If you like the guy/gal in the office or don't; keep them in or kick them out come the next election.

Hey Joe, why must we wait for someone to be elected.  Why can’t Congress do the work now for the American people, the work they were elected to do!!!!  A good place to start would be the new NAFTA trade deal.

Thank you Novice ... well said.  It's sad that there are so many in the USA that are blind to these simple facts and truth by their hatred of this man - TRUMP.  They choose to believe the lies that are being told about him. They are really uninformed and blindly follow a party platform and the corrupt media that is supposed to report the news, but instead editorialize to present the party line. They really don't know all the accomplishments because they are not reported or are trivialized, to cover the nonsense of the hearings.

Hi Joe, I didn't need to respond, others did so for me. But here's a few terrible things he did:

Obama is a globalist whose policies brought the USA backwards, and dumbed down the education system well beyond what has already occurred. Also, he is responsible for the introduction of teaching Islam in the public school system while outlawing references to Christianity; weakening and undermining our military; the introduction of millions of illegal immigrants by participating in the plans for first of several caravans. He unilaterally introduced DACA even after he said it was illegal to do so. Much more...no one stopped him from doing what he wanted.

I would dare say both Pres Obama and Pres Trump.  I gave you a green bump up just because you had nothing but red rubies. Just let each branch of our government,  the House, the Senate, and the Executive get up about the people's business after the term and mid term elections are over. Part of which is to provide checks and balances to the other ones. If and when either gets "checked" because they pushed the envelope so much they broke through it, deal with it and get back to doing the peoples business.  None of this holding a hearing and then look for proof of a crime. Cops get evidence of a crime first, investigate, and then hold the trial. Also, I cannot understand why one side does not encourage investigation into corruption with all the evidence they have discovered spying on US citizens and political opponents, pay for play ie quid, pro, quo, lying to the FISA courts, manufacturing evidence .
