The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed, on Tuesday, that the Council of Ministers approved the price of $56 per barrel of oil within the draft federal budget law for 2020, while it indicated that the price of selling oil may rise after discussion in Parliament.

Committee member Hanin Qaddo said in a statement to "Information", that "the cabinet approved the price of $ 56 per barrel of oil within the draft federal budget law for 2020," noting that "the government has not yet sent the federal budget items to the House of Representatives."

He added that "the House of Representatives may raise the price of selling a barrel of oil to more than 60 dollars after discussing the budget that will be sent to it," noting that "raising and lowering the price of selling oil depends on international oil prices and the size of the fiscal deficit in the budget."

The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed, earlier, that the dispatch of the Council of Ministers to the Federal Budget Bill for 2020 is dependent on naming the new Prime Minister.

Parliamentary Finance: The Civil Service Law will contribute to eliminating the huge differences between the salaries of state employees

By Ali 26/12/2019 12:28 AM | Views: 185

Al-Ahed News - Baghdad

The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed, yesterday, Wednesday, that "federal civil service law legislation will contribute to canceling and redefining the huge differences between the salaries of the highest and lower levels of state employees ."

A member of the committee, Haneen Al-Qudo, said in a press statement, which was read by Al-Ahd News, that "the civil service law was subject to study and discussion within the parliamentary financial committee before it was submitted to the presidency of the parliament for approval ."

He added, "The law focuses on the job from the administrative controls and updating the jobs, and defining the responsibilities and powers in all the job grades in the state departments, as well as defining the penalties and penalties in relation to absence or insulting the literature, as well as referral to retirement ."

And, "There is no new scale for the salaries of employees, but there is a topic for determining the salaries of employees of the higher and lower levels in state departments, and consequently, the passage of the law will redefine those salaries according to the degrees of their employees in a sound scientific manner, and eliminate any financial differences ."

He explained, "The Parliamentary Finance Committee put this issue on the shoulders of the government and the cabinet to set a new scale for salaries, because there are salaries that do not meet the size of economic inflation in Iraq, and the government is supposed to conduct a comprehensive study of employee salaries, reduce differences and amend some salaries ."

He noted that "the salary scale of employees needs to be reviewed continuously to suit the general economic situation of the country ."

Oil is rising with support from the hopes of the US-China trade agreement and OPEC cut

14151.jpg

26th December, 2019

Oil prices rose on Thursday, supported by a possible breakthrough in the trade war between the United States and China and OPEC-led efforts to curb supplies, although trading was calm with holiday atmosphere dominating many markets

By 0651 GMT, Brent crude rose 28 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $ 67.48 a barrel

US West Texas Intermediate crude rose 25 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $ 61.36 a barrel

US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that there will be a signing ceremony attended by his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping for the so-called one-stage agreement to end the trade dispute between the two countries that was reached earlier this month

The nearly 17-month-old trade war has hurt global economic growth and oil demand, resulting in price movements in a limited range for most of the year

The drop in demand also reduced the effectiveness of supply cuts implemented by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allies, including Russia

The group, called OPEC +, agreed to extend and increase production cuts that would displace up to 2.1 million barrels per day of supply from the market, or about two percent of global demand

Its trade exchange increased three times .. This is how Saudi Arabia invested the demonstrations in Iraq!

image.jpeg.efc5ba9b255eaabe96e58045b4a7f6f5.jpeg

25th December, 2019

The Saudi Cabinet approved memoranda of understanding with the Iraqi side in the areas of transport, communications and trade.

The Saudi News Agency mentioned the details of the session, which was held by the Council of Ministers and chaired by the King of Saudi Arabia, where he announced the Kingdom's approval of a memorandum of understanding between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Republic of Iraq for economic cooperation. Has Iraq moved to do business with Saudi Arabia? Can Saudi Arabia fill the economic void in Iraq because of the sanctions on Iran?

The Russian Sputnik Agency quoted a spokesman for the Salvation and Development Front, the economic expert, Yahya Al-Sultani, as saying that "the issue of approval of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Iraqi and Saudi sides coincided with the demonstrations in Iraq, which is something that has served the Saudi side, especially since the trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Iraq were up to 400 million dollars, and during the period of the demonstrations it increased three times, as the trade exchange between the two countries reached one billion and three hundred million dollars.

Al-Sultani added, "The issue of demonstrations taking place in Iraq is one of the reasons that led to the expansion of commercial activity between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, as the scarcity of Iranian goods due to poor demand for them, in addition to the quality of Saudi goods, prompted the Iraqi citizen to go towards Saudi goods."  He stressed, "The Iraqi merchants are heading towards Saudi Arabia, because the Iranian goods are experiencing stagnation and reluctance from their consumption, so the Saudi side took advantage of this and activated its commercial movement with Iraq, through memoranda of understanding, in order to bridge the shortfall that occurs in the Iraqi market, due to the lack of import of goods." Iranian."

He pointed out, "The Memorandum of Understanding signed between Iraq and Saudi Arabia includes land and sea transport issues, in addition to merchandise trade, as Saudi Arabia will transport goods not only to Iraq, but also to Turkey and Central Asia through Iraqi lands, which is a strategic idea that the Kingdom is carrying out, in order to achieve economic stability. For her, and to implement her vision for 2030, which was issued in order to achieve this 14 decrees, including the Memorandum of Understanding between the Iraqi and Saudi ministries of transport.

This is coming from the CBI...

they said they can not change the value at any time...

there is a legal and international policy they can change the rate only the first of the fiscal year.

That's January 1st.

That's why they could not do it July, August or September.

We were wrong unfortunately...

we thought they could do it at any time.

That's wrong.

They can not do it at any time...

we are in a very good position right now...

they ordered [the powers that be] the CBI that this time they are going to do it.
There is no delay
