Canada affirms its serious desire to enter the Iraqi market
 
The head of the Canadian mission to Iraq, Catherine Porto, revealed her country's serious desire to enter the Iraqi market.
This came during a meeting with Trade Minister Mohammed Hashim Al-Ani, on Wednesday, Porto.
A statement from the ministry, which received a copy of the Euphrates News, said that they discussed ways of developing joint economic relations and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
Al-Ani said during the meeting to "the importance of the development and development of joint relations at all levels and strive to open new channels of communication serve the two peoples, especially as Iraq has become a large market attracting various international companies sober."
He added that "the Ministry of Commerce is ready to open to the countries of the world and to implement the government program and the aspirations of the new government in cooperation with countries wishing to enter the Iraqi market through the establishment of exhibitions, forums and conferences held in the capital Baghdad."
For her part, the head of the Canadian mission "her country's serious desire to enter the Iraqi market and access to investment opportunities through the participation of its companies, investors and businessmen to invest in all economic and trade and other fields that contribute to building and strengthening the bonds of cooperation and bilateral partnerships between the two countries."
She pointed out that "Iraq has become an attractive areas for investment, especially after the stability of the security situation and the end of the war on terrorist organizations."
Canada, the world's eighth largest economy, is one of the world's richest countries and a member of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Group of Eight (G-8) and is experiencing tremendous economic growth in the high-tech and service industries.

The head of the Canadian mission to Iraq, Catherine Porto, revealed her country's serious desire to enter the Iraqi market.

This came during a meeting between Trade Minister Dr. Mohammad Hashim al-Ani and Porto on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to develop joint economic relations and boost cooperation between the two countries, said a ministry statement.

During the meeting, Al-Ani said: "It is important to develop joint relations at all levels and strive to open new channels of communication serve the two peoples, especially as Iraq has become a large market attracting various international companies sober."

He added:  "the ministry is ready to open to the countries of the world and to implement the government program and aspirations of the new government in cooperation with countries wishing to enter the Iraqi market through the establishment of exhibitions, forums, and conferences held in the capital Baghdad."

For her part, the head of the Canadian mission stressed her country's serious desire to enter the Iraqi market and get investment opportunities through the participation of its companies, investors and businessmen to invest in all economic and commercial fields and other fields that contribute to building and strengthening the bonds of cooperation and bilateral partnerships between the two countries."
