White House official told whistleblower Trump Ukraine call was 'frightening

A White House official listening to President Donald Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukraine’s president described the call as “crazy” and “frightening” and was “visibly shaken,” according to notes taken by the intelligence official who filed a formal whistleblower complaint after speaking with the official, and others.

ABC News has learned that the two-page memo, written by the whistleblower a day after Trump’s call, suggests that at least one aide to the president feared that Trump’s own words in the call were damning. According to a rough transcript of the call released by the White House, Trump asked Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskiy to launch an investigation into a political opponent, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, and his son.

The notes were based on a brief conversation between the whistleblower and the White House official and described “highlights” from the president’s call. The document was later provided to the intelligence community’s inspector general, who reviewed the whistleblower’s complaint. The IG has determined the complaint “appeared credible” and of “urgent concern.”

The White House had not responded to a request for comment. Trump has defended the call as acting on his duty as president to end corruption “even if that means requesting the help of a foreign country or countries.”

“This has NOTHING to do with politics or a political campaign against the Bidens,” Trump tweeted Oct. 4. This does have to do with their corruption!”

Trump also has dismissed the whistleblower’s account of the phone call because he says the complaint was based on second-hand information. According to the IG report, the individual had both first and second-hand information. This week a second whistleblower has come forward with what that person’s lawyer describes as first-hand knowledge.

“The President urged Zelenskiy to investigate the Bidens and stated that [Trump's personal attorney Rudy] Giuliani would discuss this topic further with Zelenskiy during his trip to Kyiv,” the unnamed White House official told the first whistleblower, according to the notes.

"The official, who listened to the entirety of the phone call, was visibly shaken by what had transpired and seemed keen to inform a trusted colleague within the U.S. national security apparatus about the call," the whistleblower writes in the memo.

The memo states the official "described the call as "crazy," "frightening," and completely lacking in substance related to national security."

After the call, the whistleblower says "I ... returned to my office, and wrote up my best recollection of what I had heard." The person notes that they did not review the call transcript or written notes, “but the official informed me they exist.”

The official recalled to the whistleblower that the president also asked the Ukranian leader about "Crowdstrike server" a reference to a debunked theory that Ukraine is holding Hillarious Clinton's missing emails, and that it was the Ukraine, not Russia, that was behind the interference in the 2016 election.

The White House official also correctly recalled that the president raised the issue of Burisma holdings, a company that employed Vice President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden.

Importantly, the whistleblower also documented suspicions from the White House official that notes or transcripts from the call were being protected in an unusual manner. ABC News has reported that the White House changed its practice of storing phone call transcripts with foreign leaders to avoid leaked by keeping them in secure servers with restricted access. It was unclear if those conversations, however, were being protected for reasons of national security or for political reasons.

He is a dumbazz as you so quaintly referred to him.... He may lose everything for what? A wall with his name on it. Or become famous for increasing our debt in the most conservative way? I really do feel sorry for his followers. They have been so taken by lies... He is good at conning, no doubt about that.

Oh, I'm not conned one bit, and you know that. I'm just super pissed at the political establishment that has taken our country away from the people. Donald Trump seems to be the only one willing to fight so that the people can have it back.

I'm like you and tired of the crooked two party system. Unlike you, I think Trump is bad for American virtues. He has none. His erratic behavior is bad for a world leader. His followers want to get Biden for what his kid did, but they are cool with Ivanka getting patens from China while he is in office. Is there any difference? Jared is making huge bucks with the Saudis is that okay? Don Jr. is setting up deals in India while dad is politicking with them. Does none of this make you think, gee he might be taking advantage of his position and taxpayers?

Trump wasn't elected for his virtues. And it seems that America has very little virtues left. Don't get me started on the 60 bus million dead babies. Or the rampant crime rate, murder rate, rapes and all manner of criminality and Corruption within our government. Trump, however, maybe the solution for at least the corruption. This nation he is, in my most humble opinion, under the Judgment of God. And it is my belief that President Donald J Trump is that judgment.

What is frightening is this person’s opinion is about as important as mine.  It’s just another accusation that is baseless.  If that person has REAL and credible information let’s go to court so the accuser can be deposed, and cross examined and held accountable if found to be lying.  Since when does someone’s opinion become grounds for impeachment.

There is no doubt in my mind the Dems have no intention of impeaching President Trump.  I believe their sole purpose with all these accusations is to keep their base hysterical enough to go vote.  Hey can you blame them, it worked in the mid terms.  Countless baseless lies and accusations (all debunked) about Kavanaugh got their voters all fired up.

What else do they have to offer the American people?  They can’t run on anything from the Obama years and they haven’t done squat since he’s left.  Obstruction, rebellion, resistance, accusations, and lies.  Nice resume Dems.  Try peddling that to the American people along with your dumb New Green Deal, Open Borders, Sanctuary Cities, Socialist Medical Care, etc. etc.  Go ahead trot HRC out there one more time. Maybe the 3rd time is the charm.

And while I'm at it, I think that the judgment of God could be a good thing now. It's usually through extreme suffering that people turn back to God. And America seriously needs to turn back to God.

Page 13 Second Paragraph of the Mueller Report states:

Quote

During its investigation the Office issued more than 2,800 subpoenas under the auspices of a grand jury sitting in the District of Columbia; executed nearly 500 search-and-seizure warrants; obtained more than 230 orders for communications records under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(d); obtained almost 50 orders authorizing use of pen registers; made 13 requests to foreign governments pursuant to Mutual Legal Assistance Treaties; and interviewed approximately 500 witnesses, including almost 80 before a grand jury.

I guess only the demonrats can utilize the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaties and Trump cannot. This is evidence that Trump making a request to investigate Biden, who just happens to be candidate running for the top office in the USA and bragged about using actual quid pro quo while VPOTUS to fire a foreign country's chief prosecutor into a business that his son benefitted from because his dad was the VPOTUS, is a nothingburger. Yeah nothing there with Biden, so let's impeach Trump. Low info alt-leftists are so unhinged its not even funny anymore. They are so dangerous not only to this country but its dangerous for this entire global community. So many countries being brought into this because of the previous "no scandal" administration that it screams scandal. This will further damage the USA and bring to fruition, faster, the case of why the dollar should no longer be the reserve currency because the USA Government is corrupt and the rest of the world, with their corrupt governments, cannot trust the USA anymore. They will be pushed towards China and Russia and the case will be made that communism and socialism is more transparent and less corrupt than the capitalist Americans. Should the House impeach Trump, (at this point I am sure they will due to political convictions and accusations; not because he did anything wrong or based on the preponderance of evidence that rose to a high crime and misdemeanor), the ramifications of this will not only destroy the USA but will also denigrate democracy (yes the USA is a Constitutional Republic not a democracy) so much that this will push socialism and communism so far that more people will embrace it that did not before this.

Impeaching Trump in reality goes back to the birther issue and the condescension from 0bummer. Everyone saw Trump as a joke candidate until it was too late. Even Trump was not fully convinced until he won Iowa and has said as much. There is no fair due process at this point, which is why I believe the house will vote in favor of the Articles of Impeachment. Too many members of Congress have already stated that they will vote for impeachment not because they have seen the evidence or even seen the articles of impeachment. No, they are driven purely by political motives because Trump ran as an R not a D. I have stated many times in the past, it does not matter who the President is if they have an R behind their name, they are bad. Kavanaugh proves this statement. RBG is trying to not die before another demonrat gets in as POTUS. This is why she has stated she will not retire while Trump is in office. So it doesn't matter who the R that sits at the desk in the Oval Office to the alt-left. If they, according to the alt-left,  have an R beside their name there is no worse evil in this world than that.

Just like the last investigation. Its not there for a valid reason. It gives them the right for a full blown investigation not for the reason they gave to investigate, just a reason to dig and dig and dig for crumbs and then make a big deal about it.

Im sick of it all! To me, they are traitors doing damage to my country and they should be dealt with like traitors.

In the other hand , I am not sure if there are enough deep staters left to have President Trump impeached. If he isn't impeached I think there is going to be one hell of a voter turnout for another 4 years for our President Trump.

So why is he refusing to take part in clearing his name? If you were accused of something you would whip out the prove of innocence in a minute.... Trump could end this in one day, but choses not to. Makes you wonder why he acts like a guilty man. It will be good to see him go so we can get back to making America what it should be.

Get this through your thick head, if they take President Trump out illegally you won't have an America that accepts equal rights like tolerance of homosexual marriage or transgender psychos. You won't have an America where you can go to Wal-Mart and stuff your home with useless China made junk. You will have an America where blood runs in the streets.

So maybe everyone should sit down and shut up and allow the process to do what it's done for over 200 years.

People like you and Shabbs are giving Trump more power to do whatever he desires and you don't even know it.

Because people like you and the Democratic Socialists Party has pissed off upwards of 75 million people who have had it with MORONS who think their better than everyone else. And there fed up with the psychotic babbling from severely mental cases who don't even understand what gender they are. Study history, Admiral Yamamoto knew when Japan attaked Pearl harbor what was coming. There's a sleeping giant that the last time was awakened not only invented an Atomic bomb but dropped it TWICE.
