Democrats Are Walking Right Into Trump's Trap, NYT Implies Trump Wants The Impeachment Fight

Recommended Posts

According to the most recent polls, the American people as a whole do not support the impeachment of President Donald Trump. Despite these polls, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi officially announced impeachment proceedings against President Trump based off of a politically bias 'whistleblower' with a second hand account of a phone call between President Trump and the President of Ukraine.

Even after the release long awaited Mueller report, the American people seem to agree that impeachment is not the way forward.

Breitbart reports: "Since July, polls have showed that at least half of American voters have opposed beginning impeachment or an impeachment inquiry... Recent polls show that the testimony of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller in late July did not even persuade voters to change their opinions on impeachment. Democrats are betting that this latest issue will — but a look at previous polls is not promising for them."

Check out the polls below:

Here are the latest poll numbers on impeachment:
Politico/Morning Consult — September 18, 2019:
37% of voters support beginning impeachment proceedings
50% of voters oppose beginning impeachment proceedings
12% of voters are undecided

Monmouth University Poll — August 22, 2019:
35% of voters support impeaching Trump
61% of voters oppose impeaching Trump
6% of voters do not know
41% of voters think an impeachment inquiry is a good idea
51% of voters think an impeachment inquiry is a bad idea
6% of voters do not know

Quinnipac Poll — July 30, 2019
32% of voters say Congress should begin impeachment proceedings
60% of voters say Congress should not begin impeachment proceedings
8% of voters do not know

NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll — July 14, 2019
21% of voters say Congress should begin impeachment hearings
50% of voters say Congress should not hold hearings
27% of voters say Congress should continue investigating
2% of voters said they were unsure

ABC News/Washington Post Poll — July 17, 2019
37% of voters say Congress should begin impeachment hearings
59% of voters say Congress should not begin impeachment hearings
4% of voters are unsure

Even thought the President clearly did nothing wrong, House Democrats have started an impeachment inquiry into President Trump hours before the transcript between President Trump and the Ukrainian president was released which goes against the very claims that started the impeachment inquiry in the first place.

The memo started with President Trump congratulating Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on his election win. Shortly after the introduction, President Trump brings up Vice President Joe Biden and how he abused his power to fire a Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating his son.

“There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great,” Trump said in the call. “Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it…It sounds horrible to me.”

Zelensky then suggested to President Trump that they would appoint a new prosecutor. “He or she will look into the situation specifically to the company that you mentioned in this issue, the issue of the investigation of the case is actually the issue to restore the honesty so we will take care of that and we will work on the investigation of the case.”

President Trump told Zelensky he would like his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, and Attorney General Bill Barr to be involved.

“I will have Mr. Giuliani give you call and I’m also going to have Attorney General Barr call and we will get to the bottom if it. I’m sure you will figure it out,” he added.

I don't think this is good for anyone including the democrats... But your polls are at least a week old, so they are irrelevant. You know how it is here in the United States of Amnesia... People don't remember what they did yesterday...

In before the "Polls are fake" crowd.

That's funny toolman… Usually it is those on the right who think polls are fake, news is fake and so on and so on... You have to admit it is ironic that polls are now worthy... And let's not forget when it comes to news, there is no better source than opinions on Twitter...

It does seem, the right is a bit nervous... Just release the phone conversation and prove it is nothing, before the CIA and those boys go pull it off the Secret Servers that are supposed to be used only for national security... If the CIA goes searching that server, they are going to find the other phone calls Trump has hidden and who know what will come out???

Wow Obama and Clinton... That's like asking that beautiful girl with no personality, "what have you got after pretty"?... Usually you get a blank stare.... They really need some new ghosts for their fear factor...

A memo, by the way, that was supposed to be an actual transcript per the White House.

GO RV, then BV

Your right. It was suppose to the actual transcript except CNN left out 500+ words and cut and pasted it in a way to make Trump look bad.

It is not my "opinion" you hate Trump. You have said it yourself.

toolman, CNN didn't release the memo... What are you talking about... The White House released an edited version of the transcript. It says right in the memo this is not verbatim. The White House is hiding something. They also shelved the transcript on servers dedicated to national security... If this is nothing why try to hide it there? Now the CIA or Secret Service or someone is going to comb those servers and find whatever they have tried to hide...

All of this is a side show to what is really going on... The Fed. The markets. The billions daily. The banksters...

You have to admit Schiff did a terrible job paraphrasing the memo.  It was truly misleading.  Not sure what he was trying to do there.  Someone should have said told him if you have the memo in front of you then use, otherwise shut up and get a copy. JMO  Again someone stating what they think was intended and not what was actually said.

Trump: There is no better testimony from the President of Ukraine for my acquittal

Trump: There is no better testimony from the President of Ukraine for my acquittal

 27 September 2019 04:42 PM
From: Ahmed Shawky

Direct: US President Donald Trump said there was no better testimony from an interview with his Ukrainian counterpart that he was not under pressure, accusing the Democratic candidate Joe Biden and his son to take millions of dollars from Ukraine and China.

The president of Ukraine said that no one can pressure him after the phone conversation with Trump, which was the reason for the accusation of the Democrats to use his power to request foreign intervention in the upcoming US elections.

Trump said in a tweet on Thursday: "The President of Ukraine said he was not under pressure from me to do anything wrong, there can be no better testimony."

Trump said: "On the other hand, Biden his son took millions of dollars to support the Ukrainian president and looted millions from China," in a possible reference to former President of Ukraine, "Petro Poroshenko."

The transcript of the conversation between Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart revealed Trump's request to investigate Biden and his son, but did not exert any pressure to do so.

I see more opinion from the twits on Twitter... Is this supposed to be news? Why are Trumpkins in such a panic? They are putting in a lot of effort to save their savior.

Take it anyway you like, your mind is made up. Which is why you and the Democratic Socialists Party have zero clue what you're doing.

Donna Brazil is a FAR LEFT nut job with FAR LEFT nut job followers and in her little poll with well over 200,000 replies only 9% now think that Trump is illegitimate.

LIBERALS ARE PUSHING THEIR OWN AWAY.
