A parliamentary source told Mawazine News that Qasim al-Araji was sworn in as deputy in the House of Representatives today.
The House of Representatives held its regular session today under the chairmanship of its President, Mohammed Halbousi

 First: Vote  on the draft law of the  Military Industrialization Authority. Security and Defense Committee. (16 items).

Second: Presentation of the  report of the Security and Defense Committee in relation to security incidents.

Third: The  first reading of the proposed law to protect diversity and prevent discrimination. (Commission on Human Rights), (17).

Fourth: The first reading of the  proposed law against torture. (Human Rights Committee), (16 articles).

Fifth: The  first reading of the  draft law ratifying the United Nations Convention on Transparency in Treaty-based Arbitration between Investors and States. (Committee on Foreign Relations, (2 items).

Sixth: The  first reading of the  draft law of accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Second Protocol of the Hague Convention of 1954 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict. (Committee on Foreign Relations, Committee on Culture, Tourism and Antiquities), (2 items).

Seventh: Report and discussion (second reading) Draft law of accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on International Road Transport for the year 1975. (Committee on Foreign Relations, Services and Reconstruction Committee), (2 Article).

Eighth: Report and discussion (second reading) Proposed law to abolish the Coalition Provisional Authority (dissolved) No. (57) for the year 2004. (Integrity Committee, the Legal Committee), (6 articles).

Ninth: Reporting and discussing a draft law on the collection of the remuneration for the non-agricultural land owned by the state. (Finance Committee, Committee on Agriculture, Water and Wahwa). (6 items).

Tenth: Report and discussion (second reading). (Communications and Information Committee, Services and Reconstruction Committee), (42 items).

Eleventh: General Debates (15 minutes).

I was not casting aspersions as to the veracity and authenticity of your news posts or the sources they stem from, but simply stating at this point even a fake news article on them passing the HCL would be welcome reading. Lol! It can always be redacted after the excitement wanes. Or not if it was taken from the NY Times as they don't take responsibility for their fake articles. 

In any case. Your call. I leave it completely up to your competent ability to find all the news that's fit to print.

A parliamentary source, told / Mawazine News, "The House of Representatives, ended the discussion of the proposal to abolish the Coalition Provisional Authority Order (dissolved) No. 57 of 2014."
The source added that "Parliament, also ended, to discuss the draft law of accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on International Road Transport of 1975."
