The Council concluded during the meeting, which was chaired by Bashir al-Haddad, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives to read the report and discuss the draft law of accession of the Republic of Iraq to the 1995 grain trade agreement submitted by the committees of foreign relations and legal, economy, investment, agriculture, water and marshes. The deputies' interventions focused on the economic feasibility of the agreement and Iraq's financial obligations in case of joining the agreement, pointing to the possibility of raising the performance of Iraqi ports after joining the agreement.
