The House of Representatives, on Wednesday, the date of its first session of the second legislative year for the first legislative term, while publishing the agenda of the meeting.

The agenda of the first session of the third legislative term of the House of Representatives showed that it was free from discussing the Israeli bombardment that targeted the Popular Mobilization sites and the removal of the American forces as MPs promised.

The first session of the third legislative term will be held on Saturday, the 14th of September, after a 38-day legislative recess.

Mubasher: The Iraqi Council of Representatives announced the resumption of its sessions starting Saturday, September 14, 2019, and set the agenda of the meeting.

The Council said in a statement, on Wednesday, that the agenda of the meeting includes the first reading of the draft law on public-private partnership, and the first reading of the draft law ratifying the agreement on the promotion and protection of investment between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of Saudi Arabia.

The agreement was signed during the visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi to Saudi Arabia last April.

During the visit, 13 memorandums of understanding were signed between Iraqi ministers and their counterparts on the Saudi side.

The agenda included the second reading of the proposal for the first amendment of the Human Organ Transplantation Law and Prevention of Trafficking No. 11 of 2016.

     So all this vacation talk about getting to the meat of the BIG laws....HCL, 140, Fed Courts.

And they tiptoe in......to tackle underwater parks, maternity guidelines and passports to Serbia???

They have been saying that for ages before every parliament period. They're going to pass the hcl, 140 and other files. Then comes time for them to meet and they dont pass them let alone talk about them. It really makes one wonder on how much longer the IMF, the world bank and other 3 letter organizations continue to deal with them prehistoric cavemen.

The House of Representatives will begin next Saturday its new legislative chapter, discussing a number of important files, within the agenda of the meeting, in light of parliamentary efforts to question a number of ministers.
This comes at a time, which excludes deputies pass the education candidate through the first sessions, attributing it to the political blocs did not agree on any candidate so far.
Council member Rebwar Karim said in a statement to Al-Sabah that "the parliament will start its new legislative term next Saturday, in light of parliamentary attempts to amend the government situation," noting that "the Council is working to question some ministers by committees and deputies."
He added, "We will see in the sessions of the new legislative chapter in preparation by the political blocs to dismiss ministers because of a flaw in their work throughout the past period." 
On the portfolio of the Ministry of Education, MP Manar Abdel-Muttalib said in a press statement, "The travel of members of the House of Representatives outside the country caused not to meet the political blocs and agree on a candidate for education," pointing out that "the political blocs did not put any name to take up the post of education so far" .

Fahmi reveals what parliament has approved so far and expected it to the next stage
(Baghdad: Euphrates News) MP unveiled a coalition of Saeron Raed Fahmy, the number of laws passed by the House of Representatives in the first year of its current session.

He stressed that "the House of Representatives is able to provide more in the next stage."
Parliament will resume its sessions on Saturday after a legislative recess that lasted for about 40 days.
