yota691 Posted August 31, 2019 Report Share Posted August 31, 2019 Zebari reveals how Abadi takes office in 2014 despite Maliki's victory Political | 01:56 - 31/08/2019 BAGHDAD - The leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Hoshyar Zebari, revealed how the candidate of the Dawa Party, Haider al-Abadi, took over the premiership of Iraq in 2014, although Nuri al-Maliki was the highest votes in the elections. Zebari said, "The Americans had a problem with Nuri al-Maliki, and they felt that it must be changed," noting that "Washington's desire to change al-Maliki was caused by the latter did not deal in the management of the situation in the country well, as well as other things, including his position on the spring Arab and Syrian file. He added that "the arrival of Haider al-Abadi to power, was a coincidence, because of the desire of the Americans to change, although Maliki won the elections with the highest votes." Zebari said, "Washington has agreed to support Iraq in the fight against Daesh, provided that an urgent official request to do so." America just helped The three honest people in Iraqi politics uphold the law of the land. Thank God Abadi was chosen. He handled the ISIS crisis as good as anyone could have, not to mention he took back the disputed areas in and around Kirkuk with almost zero gunfire. he got screwed in 2018 elections. Sadr for all of his hot air and rhetoric has been absent from the conversation since the elections. Where has he been?
