Mattis Sharply Rebukes Trump's Leadership

Considering that entire investigation was launched because of false accusations.....and that Muellers mental capacity seems to be even less than Bidens.....they found zero evidence on what they were commissioned to investigate.....Trumps/Trumps teams.....involvement with the Russians to influence the election.....

The DNC did influence the 2016 election......by rigging the primary so only HRC could win.....it you want to talk election fraud....there would be an obvious starting point.

CL

Sort of a catch 22 there, CL......as in Mueller didn't find the evidence that was clearly provided by the Deep State, yet Mueller has a diminished mental capacity.  Basically Mueller can't be trusted to make good judgments, unless it clears Trump.

You can make light of all the corruption in the Obama DOJ  you want.....the entire Mueller investigation was a set up from the start with the sole intend of slowing down or endingTrumps Presidentcy.....and in the land of "rule of law".....there will be a price paid for that......it started today with Comey.....and it will likely end at Obama's door step.....

At this point the left has nothing viable to prosecute Trump on.......all they have done is expose themselves.....and dig thier own hole a little deeper...

Watchdog: Comey violated FBI policies in handling of memos

Associated PressAugust 29, 2019

WASHINGTON (AP) — James Comey violated FBI policies in his handling of memos documenting private conversations with President Donald Trump in the weeks before he was fired as director of the bureau, the Justice Department's inspector general said Thursday.

The watchdog's office said Comey broke FBI rules by giving one memo containing unclassified information to a friend with instructions to share the contents with a reporter. Comey also failed to notify the FBI after he was dismissed in May 2017 that he had retained some of the memos in a safe at home, the report said.

But the inspector general also concluded that none of the information shared with the reporter was classified.

At issue are seven memos Comey wrote between January 2017 and April 2017 about conversations with Trump that Comey found unnerving or unusual. These include a dinner at which Comey says Trump asked him to pledge his loyalty to him and a private Oval Office meeting weeks later at which Comey says the president asked him to drop an FBI investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

One week after he was fired, Comey provided a copy of the memo about Flynn to Dan Richman, his personal lawyer and a friend, and instructed him to share the contents of it with a specific reporter from The New York Times.

Comey has said he wanted to make details of the conversation public in hopes of triggering the appointment of a special counsel to lead the FBI's investigation into ties between Russia and the Trump campaign. Former FBI Director Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel one day after the story broke.

The inspector general's office found Comey's rationale lacking.

"Comey had several other lawful options available to him to advocate for the appointment of a Special Counsel, which he told us was his goal in making the disclosure," the report says. "What was not permitted was the unauthorized disclosure of sensitive investigative information, obtained during the course of FBI employment, in order to achieve a personally desired outcome."

The department has already decided not to prosecute Comey over the matter.

Richman declined to comment Thursday. But Comey noted on Twitter that the inspector general found no evidence that he or his lawyers had ever shared any classified information with the news media.

"I don't need a public apology from those who defamed me, but a quick message with a "sorry we lied about you" would be nice," he wrote.

He also added: "And to all those who've spent two years talking about me "going to jail" or being a "liar and a leaker"_ask yourselves why you still trust people who gave you bad info for so long, including the president."

Never heard of a person committing Treason against another person.....but there are firsts for everything, I suppose.  As for your Banana Republic comment.....Trump would love nothing more than being a dictator with unlimited power.  The fact that he asked Comey for allegiance to himself as opposed to allegiance to our country should tell people everything they need to know about Donald.  As always, just my opinion, with some facts mixed in.

So if an individual....or group....attempts to oust any President of the US from office......by using illegal means......what do you call that......?

Would that not be an attack on the Constitution......Rule of Law.....and Country....?

Or perhaps Treason!

Perhaps....but where has it ever been documented and or proven that Comey wanted Trump ousted, as opposed to simply exposing Donald for who he truly is, a man ignorant of how the United States and it's 3 co-equal branches of government is meant to work.....checks and balances?

By signing 3 unlawful FISA requests (based on his own admission that the dosier that was used for them was not verified)

and leaking information to a friend so that an illegal investigation would be started. That alone is a good start.

Another presidential record... The most indicted ever!!!

B/A

Wow...Just like "my" Berlusconi...Most indicted PM ever..And also indicted for a ton of non-political charges......Lots of similarities, really.....

The slogan which Berlusconi used  for entering ( all of a sudden as he got scared to death by Communists and Socialists)  into Politics in 1994 and which infact made him win those elections and then also others was...

" I am not a Politician...I am a businessman , therefore I'm not going to make the mistakes the average Politician usually does because I'm totally pure in that sense, not corrupt and rotten by political power and never will be...And being a businessman and very successful at that...I know what it means to work hard.....And since I'm wealthy, there won't be ever the chance for someone to buy me"...

But then he forgot to add there was ( and there was indeed infact, in that it happened) the chance for a wealthy and reckless individual like him, the very concrete  chance to buy folks for the most diverse reasons....He was / still is  very wealthy and used  some of that wealth to commit horrendous acts ( political and non-political)...

But Italians fell into that trap completely at least for a few years  saying / thinking " Yep, the man is no professional Politician, he's a successful businessman ....  so he must be a lot better than the other politicians and since he's so darn rich he's immune to corruption temptations and such...And he said he's gonna make Italy as prosperous as his successful businesses / firms......He's going to make us Italians all  very rich also by creating ( his promises) millions of work-positions"

Ah ah...(  nothing to laugh about, really)

What a XXXXXXXXX he was / is...An excellent pied-piper for sure who succeeded for some years  ( way too many, me thinks)  with the help of the continuous bombing of his TV's to brain-wash a part of the Italian ( voting) People.....Also he had the best communication world consultants ( almost all US individuals) money can buy......

Some folks really adored him in this Country and some still do...He created a real Cult of Personality situation ( like it used to be for Stalin, Mao, the N.Korean leaders and such)

But he too will have to give complete account one day.....

Absolutely! Problem is very few understand their unfettered hate. And his staunchest followers only think they know why they love him. But whether you love him or hate him, emotions about him derive from the deepest innermost spiritual place in us all.

Nah, I just don't trust him... Quite elementary really, if you lie about little stuff you lie about big stuff and nobody is a better liar, just ask him... I am always surprised how people don't care if he lies. Like, why say his wife knows Kim? No she doesn't. Why say he missed the climate meeting at the G-7 because he was meeting with the German leader? He wasn't, she was at the climate meeting. Doesn't it bother people when he just blatantly lies? Again, if you will lie about little things that don't matter you will lie about big things that do matter.

Our ex minister of interiors Matteo Salvini ( who originated the crisis in the Gov't, which, all things considered, I deem a good thing) was hoping either of being designated as PM by our President of the Republic or  was hoping to go to elections in which case he was extra-sure of his party League" victory...According to the polls...

So he was so bald ( another word is due in my mind but I'll courteously abstain) to announce, before knowing ( which is always something stupid and ignorant to do as you can't read into the Future) anything of what would have happened :

" When I'm PM  I want full powers"...A statement that gave shivers to a lot of Italians ( including me of course) as that authoritarian expression which showed total disrespect toward the most elementary rules of democracy was one of the fave. expressions used by fascist dictator Benito Mussolini ( I have all power and can do anything anytime and anywhere)...Who happens to be one  of Salvini's models to get inspiration from....

Another famous statement by Mussolini ( a believer in Democracy as we all know) was " Me ne frego" ( I don't care)....Just as his own style of considering Politics, considering  People and considering what according to him was the meaning of governing a Country.....Salvini would use that one too a few times......

Lying bothers most people.  The problem is some presidents, and those in the government,  are better liars than others. It's almost a job requirement.  It's sickening to say the least about the amount they lie. Do you really trust all the things any president says? We really need to quit putting presidents on pedestals and understand that they all have a background in politics or something close to it. That alone makes them suspect about their honesty. Let's face it, the candidates we get to choose from are just the shiniest turds in a pack of turds. But they are still turds.

I agree... But I find it amazing that people aren't bothered by it. Like Biden and his silver star story. I think he is on his way down. He is not a good liar and seems to be confused. I just don't understand why Trump's supporters don't call him out on his lies. The cult thing is weird. It is as if he can do no wrong... So far, I don't see anyone worth my vote come 2020... The republicans know they have problems because Trump is losing ground quickly and the democrats simply have no ideas...

Yeah. I voted for Trump. I do think he will get reelected.  But that's not because I think he is the best person  for the job. I feel that he's the best choice I personally have. (I don't want to turn this into a political debate). I don't defend his every action because he has said some dumb things  and has promised more than he can deliver.  Partly because the two parties won't compromise and partly because he just egotistical ( not always a bad thing). But aren't  all presidents a little egotistical? Lol
