One man is dead after firing several rounds inside a Waycross, Georgia, Walmart on Saturday morning before turning the gun on himself, police said.

 

Waycross Police Department says there were Walmart employees and customers inside the store during the incident, but they have all been found safe. The suspect has been identified as John Jaylen Walker Kinnitt, 19, of Waycross.

Police responded to the Walmart to a report of an active shooter inside the store at approximately 1 a.m. Kinnitt went into the store and shot multiple times. Police said that once they located the shooter he turned the gun on himself. There is no motive at this time.

BREAKING: Mass Shooting Reported in Long Beach, California

Fox LA is reporting that a “Mass Casualty Incident” has been declared and that “aerial footage … showed a triage set up outside a home with multiple victims being treated by firefighter-paramedics".

 

 

 A total of 12 people have been shot at a Halloween party in Long Beach, California, according to Long Beach Police.

 

 

 

 

 

The shooting occurred on Tuesday evening.

Ruben Vives, from the Los Angeles Times, reports that at least three of the victims have been killed.

The others have ben taken to the hospital.

 

 

KCBS’ Stu Mundel is reporting that the shooting occurred at 7th and Ohio in the city at a private home.

Two suspects are on the loose, according to KCBS-TV.

A massive police presence has responded to the scene.

DEVELOPING: Possible Hostage Situation Unfolding on Plane at Amsterdam Airport

 

NETHERLANDS — There is a massive police response at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Officials are calling the incident a “suspicious situation.”

Multiple reports state that three men armed with knives were trying to take control of an outbound flight.

First responders issued a ‘Grip 3 report,’ which is “an incident or serious event with major consequences for the population.”

According Schiphol’s Twitter account, The Dutch Royal Military Police are looking at “a situation on board of a plane at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.”

 

The incident is reportedly taking place on board Air Europa flight UX1094 to Madrid that had been due to take off this evening.

Parts of the airport were placed on lockdown. Several ambulances and fire trucks were requested.

One person is dead and at least three others are injured, two of them critically, after a shooting at a Southern California high school Thursday morning, officials said.

About an hour and a half after the shooting was reported at about 8 a.m. at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, authorities said they had located the suspect who was no longer a threat.

The Los Angeles County sheriff's department earlier said the suspect was an Asian male wearing black clothing who was last seen at the high school.

The Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital tweeted it had received four patients. One female was dead, two males were in critical condition, and another male was in good condition, the tweet said.

"This is an active shooter situation," a tweet from the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's office said before the suspect was located. "If you live in neighborhoods anywhere near Saugus High, PLEASE LOCK DOORS and stay inside. If you see suspect, male dark clothing, in backyards, etc. CALL 911."

"Parents, deputies are on scene everywhere protecting your children," a tweet from the sheriff's office said.

The Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's office tweeted just before 8 a.m. local time to avoid the area of Saugus High School, which is in the county of Los Angeles, about 40 miles north of the city of Los Angeles. Minutes later, the office said people were reporting that shots had been fired at the school.

Saugus was placed on lockdown as were neighboring elementary schools and all of the schools in the William S. Hart Union High School District, officials said.

Aerial video showed students with their hands raised, being escorted by deputies away from the school of about 2,300 students, NBC Los Angeles reported. They were transported from the campus on school buses with armed deputies on board.

An area was set up for parents to reunify with students at a park about three miles from the school.

White House spokesman Judd Deere told The Associated Press that President Donald Trump is monitoring reports on the incident.

 A shooting occurred at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, California Thursday morning, injuring at least six people and killing two.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed firefighters responded to the shooting before 8 a.m.

One of the students was struck in the stomach. One student was found at the school’s choir room. Another was struck outside the school. Four students were hospitalized at the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, where three are under critical condition.

A weapon was located outside the area of the shooting.

The neighboring high school, William S. Hart High School, was placed on lock-down as well.

The 16-year-old suspect, “an Asian male wearing black clothing”, was apprehended an hour after the shooting and hospitalized with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Five men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of three people Friday night at a playoff football game between Camden and Pleasantville High Schools, with one charged with attempted murder, prosecutors said.

 

Alvin Wyatt, 31, of Atlantic City is charged with three counts of attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Four other men, ages 26 to 28, who were at the game fled from police after the shootings, authorities say, have been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and certain persons not to possess a weapon.

The victims include a 10-year-old boy who was shot in the neck. He is in critical condition at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, according to police.

CALIFORNIA — Ten people were shot, four fatally, during a family’s backyard gathering in east central Fresno Sunday.

The shooting rang out around 6 p.m. at the home near Peach and Olive avenues–when officers arrived on scene, they found bodies scattered in the yard.

Witnesses report one or more shooters entered the yard and opened fire. Police are calling the crime a ‘mass casualty’ incident.

No arrests have been made and a motive is unknown.
