Do I remember well but during the 2016 Presidential campaign you were somehow against Trump?  I seem to recall this and also some rather strong posts of yours on the issue against the man ......I recall , in that stage, plussing you  and convincingly so more than once as I agreed with your posts......

 

Granted that's absolutely legitimate to change your own mind ( they even say that's  only stupid to NEVER change mind at least once in your lifetime as it might seem a sign of too much pride and stubborness but that's not the point  right now) on everything and anything.....

 

Maybe that was so also in the beginning of his career and after a short period ( as probably you were positively struck but his Presidential actions, me thinks) you started to write enthusiastically about him  up to the point of becoming one  ( if not the main) of his strongest supporters here on DV....

 

Do I recall correctly or am I completely wrong on this?

It's a fair question. From the very beginning of President Trump's campaigning I thought the man  was a joke. His methods his brutish Behavior and his past friendship with the Clintons all led me to believe he was running as a decoy like Ross Perot did. But then he gave a speech at Gettysburg Tennessee. And in that speech I realized this man was not a decoy for Hillarious Clinton he was serious about becoming the president. What I did not realize in the beginning was that he was willing to do or say whatever was necessary to do so. As I have repeatedly said I am not a Trump supporter. What I support is what he is doing. What people fail to understand about Trump and those that do support him is why they support him. They support him because they have a common enemy with him. That enemy is the lamestream media. I have come to realize that the American people have for quite some time known that the media was not only lying to us but in League was a Democratic Socialist Party. Trump just gave everybody a warrior to fight them. As long as the media is a wing of the Democratic Socialist Party Trump will succeed astoundingly. Still I am not a Trump supporter, not the man that is. I have some very strong spiritual beliefs which lead me to not give him my support. My beliefs are so strong I do not post them here. Because I know if I did every single 50,000 plus members of this site would think I have lost my mind. But in the end I promise you this, every single person on the face of this Earth will will be wide eyes  open mouth stunned in disbelief at who and what President Donald J Trump truly is.

I find it funny these people use terms like snowflake and buttercup, yet they are the ones who whine and hide behind their negs instead of commenting or discussing why they disagree. I post factual news stories with charts and graphs to show the impact our government is having on the economy and standard of living and the can't stand it. Like the thread I posted about tariffs, they cannot except the fact that tariffs are paid for by the consumer. A basic fact, and yet because their cult leader says China pays, that's what they believe. Like Mexico is paying for the wall. No our citizens are paying for the wall. That is fact, but again they cannot except it. And when the affects of the administration's economic policies start to hit jobs, incomes and their personal standard of living, their savior will tell them it's not his fault but that it is the Deep State trying to ruin him, and they will believe him.

The Trump supporters I meet act like they are tough and they are going to have a revolution to take back America, but they are cowards who hide behind their computer screens and give negs... What's going to happen when they have to go out on the street and defend themselves? Their little neg pushing buttons isn't going to save them. Their name calling isn't going to protect them.
