Seesaws installed at US border wall so American and Mexican children can play together

Seesaws have been installed at the border wall between US and Mexico to allow American and Mexican children to play together.

The bright pink installations were set up along the border fence between Sunland Park in New Mexico and Ciudad Juarez in Mexico.

The seesaws created a “literal fulcrum for US-Mexico relations”, according to their inventors Ronald Rael, from the University of California in Berkeley, and Virginia San Fratello, from San Jose State University.

In an Instagram post, Mr Rael, a professor of architecture, said he and Ms Fratello, an associate professor of design, came up with the idea 10 years ago.

He said the event was “filled with joy, excitement and togetherness at the border wall”.

In an Instagram post, Mr Rael said both children and adults ”were connected in meaningful ways on both sides with the recognition that the actions that take place on one side have a direct consequence on the other side”.

He shared footage and photos showing children and adults from both sides of the wall laughing as they swung each other up in the air on the seesaws.

My pessimistic sides wonders how long it will be before a far-right winger labels these seesaws as unlawful catapults.

The seesaw is always shinyer on the other side of the fence.

When they are done seesawing, I hope the fence at the top does not have any pointy edges to get hurt on.

The couple was in their late 20's, know what the theme of the wedding was??? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It was pretty bizarre to see the couple and their friends playing with little action figures at the time most wedding parties would be dancing and bellying up to the bar. Ya know, that's a good point,  they have never lived and worked in the real world.  They have no concept of reality because mom and dad have supported their toy like needs and their schooling has blinded them of all moral law and what this country stands for.  Maybe the age to vote should be changed.  Serve your country for 2 years then maybe just maybe some common sense has been put back into the space that others have kept them from filling.......ninja turtles, makes ya wonder about the honeymoon,  whoops no it doesn't  with the sexual revolution going on today I'm sure there would be no surprises....playing ninja turtles was probably a good idea for them.  Play dressup
