Baghdad today _ special

An informed source said Thursday (25 July 2019) that a high-ranking delegation from Baghdad arrived in Erbil.

The source said in an interview with (Baghdad today) that “a delegation from Baghdad, including Finance Minister Fuad Hussein, and the head of the Popular Gathering Authority Faleh Fayyad, and Oil Minister Thamer Ghadhban, and the Director of the Office of Prime Minister, Abu Jihad al-Hashemi, arrived at dawn on Thursday to the airport Erbil. ”

He pointed out that “the delegation aims to discuss the outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad.”

Hey Guys, just spoke with my 2nd Iraqi friend from Najaf.. we were discussing this latest news of a Baghdad delegation headed to Erbil.. he casually mentioned that if it was just a regular meeting, it would have happened in Baghdad.. He said if other Countries are coming in for the meeting it would be held in Erbil because Erbil is more safe and stable for foreigners. So, it’s a possibility that other nations will be there also.. let’s see if that comes out in the articles.. Go Iraq!! Go RV!!
