And this will be the biggest game changer in the history of US politics.....

 

As always...JMO.......Anyone out there have any alternative ideas as to why the left will prevail?......other than the usual "Trump Sucks"....?

 

Lack of inclusiveness.....the man in the White House, for personal reasons known only to him, has no desire to be the potus for all citizens of the United States.  Whether his ego, character, or upbringing make it impossible for him to make concessions, nobody knows....but people are being left behind and he and his staunchest "uneducated" supporters (NOT HIS SUPPORTERS HERE, EVERYBODY HERE KNOWS ISSUES AND STANDS FOR SOMETHING OTHER THAN SIMPLE HATE FOR THE OTHER SIDE) relishes in that fact.  It's unsustainable, just as a socialist agenda is unsustainable.  Somewhere in between is where we need to go as a country to survive....hard right and hard left are not cutting it.  As always, just my opinion.

Watch out for an unannounced candidate to enter the race if the polls get to low for Dem current crop of candidates.  Someone who is well connected, has the funding, has the popularity, someone independents could gravitate to and be energized to get off the couch and vote for.  

 

Who could fit fit that bill,  Opra, Michelle, or some other famous person..  If the Dems can’t get Trump on something and out of office, don’t be surprised to see a dark horse candidate.

That is too generalized of a statement Shabbs.  I’m not sure the Dems still don’t understand how they lost the election in 2016.  Yes Trump appeals to a lot of good ole boys but a vast majority of people who vote for Trump wanted a change and HRC was not a good candidate.  

 

Its no different than 2008 when Obama appealed to an uneducated mass of people who just wanted someone like them to be President.  For others it was a chance to vote for something different than McCain who was a terrible candidate.

 

i personally get tired of the over generalized Trump supporters being called uneducated,  racist, xenophobia’s homophobia’s and a bunch of other names. 

I could say the same thing about Dem supporters, especially the current crop along with the candidates 

 

To win a Presidential campaign you need a wide variety of supporters and voters.  

Labeling anyone is divisive and adds to the hysteria of a campaign.  It’s very simple, if you want to win you need a good Candidate and that candidate needs to strike a cord with the American people.

Trump unleashes furious tirade at reporter after being asked about indictment: ‘You’re at the top of the list!’

Donald Trump has furiously berated two journalists for asking about the possibility of him being indicted after leaving office, labelling them as purveyors of ”fake news”.

The president was speaking to a group of reporters following Robert Mueller‘s closely watched testimony before two congressional committees on Wednesday.

During the session the former special counsel confirmed that Mr Trump could be charged with obstruction of justice once he left office.

“Could you charge the president with a crime after he left office?” Ken Buck, a Republican congressman, asked Mr Mueller.

“Yes,” the former special counsel said in reply.

“You believe that you could charge the president of the United States with obstruction of justice after he left office?”

“Yes,” Mr Mueller said again.

But the president insisted that Mr Mueller had corrected his answer, in an angry tirade at political journalists later in the day.

“When you saw Robert Mueller’s statement, the earlier statement and then he did a recap, he did a correction later on in the afternoon,” he said when Hallie Jackson, a journalist at NBC News, asked him about the possibility of an indictment.

“And you know what that correction was and you still asked the question, you know why? Because you’re fake news and you’re one of the worst.

“And let me just tell you – the fact that you even asked that question, you’re fake news because you know what, he totally corrected himself in the afternoon and you know that just as well as anybody.”

The president appeared to be confusing Mr Mueller’s response to Ken Buck with his separate answer to Ted Lieu.

During the first hearing Mr Lieu asked if the special counsel had not indicted Mr Trump because of an Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) memo, which argues that you cannot indict a sitting president.

The OLC is an agency which operates within the US justice department.

Mr Lieu asked: “I’d like to ask you the reason, again, that you did not indict Donald Trump is because of OLC opinion stating that you cannot indict a sitting president, correct?”

“That is correct,” Robert Mueller said.

But the 74-year-old clarified his remarks later in the day.

“(W)hat I want to clarify is we did not make any determination with regard of culpability in any way. We did not start that process down the road,” he said at the beginning of his appearance before the House Intelligence Committee.

Mr Mueller did not correct his answer to Mr Buck, but the president repeatedly insisted that he had in later exchanges with reporters.

“He didn’t say that,” Mr Trump said to a second journalist who asked him about the indictment remarks.

“Again, you’re fake news and you’re right at the top of the list also.

“Let me just tell you…read his correction. Read his correction! If you read his correction you’ll find out. That’s why people don’t deal with you, because you’re not an honest reporter.”

Yamiche Alcindor, PBS White House correspondent, said the president had also lashed out at her.

“I quoted Robert Mueller directly to President Trump and he replied that I was being “untruthful” in my question. He was totally wrong,” she said on Twitter.

Despite Mr Mueller’s testimony there is little sign Democrats will start impeachment proceedings against the president, although Representative Lori Trahan joined 90 others calling for an impeachment inquiry.

Nancy Pelosi, the house speaker, opposes moving forward on impeachment for now. She said Democrats wanted to assemble the strongest case possible, focusing her remarks on Trump’s personal finances and his business connections.

“One of those connections could be to the Russians and that’s what we want to find out,” she said.

Members of Congress are expected to leave Washington at the end of the week for a long summer break, returning in September.

All former presidents receive a security detail when they are out of office......not usually with shackles, but these are extraordinary times.  As always, just my opinion

Trump is so knee jerk in his reactions. Maybe I would be too if everyone was out to get me.  He could have just laughed at them and said, Not going to happen or better just go, next question please.

I didn't watch because I'm one of the many who make up the low unemployment number and had to work... But what I did see in the regurgitation on CNN and FOX NEWS was Mueller saying Trump can be indicted when he leaves office. That is also the message Nancy has been saying for months... Forget any move to impeach, knowing that an impeachment isn't possible with a Republican senate. They know if impeachment failed it would be much harder to prosecute him when he leaves office. I think the plan is to let him finish his term, and then take legal action... This is just my opinion based on what I have heard....

 

Although his followers believe him when he says this proves his innocence, the reality is, it didn't exonerate him. The fact his people pled guilty to save themselves makes you think part of the plead deal will be to testify when the time comes... Again just my opinion...

Trump really does need to stop the reactionary style... I used to have a boss who always said I don't care what the competition is doing. We lead they follow... When he retired the new boss was reactionary. Whatever our competition did he had to do... His reactionary management style eventually led our station from 40 years of being number one to a strong number two... That may not sound like much, but in terms of billing. A number one station bills a lot more than a number two... Trump being reactionary isn't going to make America number one... It didn't happen overnight where I worked and it won't happen overnight in politics, but the trends are starting to show.

Thats why Mueller was there, to give the sound bite.  He said a lot of other stuff too and he omitted a lot by not answering the questions 

 

 Trump will never be indicted in a real court of law because the entire RC story was false. The Dems can continue to pound away at RC and Obstruction, they can pound away with calling him a racist but the fact remain you cannot send someone to jail just because you don’t like him.

Come on guys, first off Meuller did NOTHING in the investigation. He appointed ALL DemoRat lawyers to investigate Trump and Russian collusion. Then when questioned about the different section and paragraphs he had to be told which ones were which even after having it read to him by the people questioning him. He did't even write the 9 min speech he gave when he ended the investigation. The guys was a complete joke in front of all who watched this  disaster. He was chosen as the unimpeachable expert who could not be criticized . He didn't even know of the Steele dossier that started the whole investigation. And he didn't know his lead guy Wiseman was a HillDawg scrooge who attended her what was supposed to be a victory party. HE KNEW NOTHING of any value and in the proceeded to make a fool of himself. Rats got Zero out of this waste of time.
