Independent High Electoral Commission revealed on Saturday that Iraq has 210 political parties. 
"The Commission has registered about eight new parties, including secular and Islamic, since the end of the parliamentary elections last year," said a member of the Commission of Commissioners of the Electoral Commission, Riad Badran. 
He pointed out that "the registration process is still ongoing, not limited to a particular season, and now Iraq has about 210 parties."

According to a statement issued by the party, "Al-Nour News" received a copy of it, followed by a press conference, "the 13 members announced their resignations, including the head of the party Khalid al-Obeidi after it was fully convinced through experience that the charge of the Secretariat Mohammed Khalidi lost the compass of national action."

The statement said that "Khalidi took advantage of the post in violation of what was agreed upon, and singled out to take important decisions and enter into political consultations with other blocs without reference to the General Secretariat of the party." 

The statement called on the Electoral Commission to consider the legitimacy of the continuation of the party "Biyarek good" in action after the resignation of 13 members out of 19 members who are members of the General Secretariat of the party.

Bairaq al-Khair has two seats in the Iraqi parliament, out of 329 seats.

The Sunni political blocs won 71 seats in the Iraqi parliament out of 329 seats, divided into blocs: victory, national, decision, Baghdad alliance, Nineveh identity, coalition of the masses, Saladin our identity, Diyala challenge, Biyarek al-Khair, Tamdun and Aabrun.

" 
In addition, the Board of Commissioners held a press conference that included the official announcement of the strategic plan of the Commission from 2017 to 2022. 
"The purpose of this plan is to register the voters in Pyometria and adopt and develop new technologies in line with the progress in the field of elections in many countries of the world, as well as the establishment and development of infrastructure, both in the national office and provincial offices, as well as enhancing confidence and credibility. The council of plenipotentiaries praised the "Presidency of the Parliament, represented by the President of the House of Representatives and Vice-Presidents of the Council and the Chairman and members of the Legal Committee and the Committee of Regions and Governorates and other committees that participated in the discussions and vote on it for the effort and time and meetings multiple to reach the final version of the amendments and thus the adoption of the law in full as well as parliamentary blocs in House of Representatives that supported and voted for him. He continued: "We commend the government, which contributed by various means available to bring closer views on amendments to the law and full support for the adoption, as well as the support given to the Electoral Commission to complete its tasks in aspects related to the implementation of the requirements of its work.
The Board of Commissioners appreciated the "great role played by the unions, local organizations concerned with electoral affairs, international organizations and specialized experts of legal persons and academics in holding many meetings, seminars and workshops to reach the basic and important objective of completing the amendments to the law and the importance of these amendments in facilitating the work of the Commission for the elections In accordance with the regulations and procedures that emerge from the law. " 
The Council of Commissioners called on all voters, including displaced persons, to "expedite the review of the registration centers in their areas for the registration of the biometric for active participation in the upcoming provincial elections."

"In accordance with Article II of Article 47 of the law of elections of provincial councils not organized in the district No. 12 of 2018 amended, the Board of Commissioners in the Electoral Commission decided to open a new period to update the register of voters in the provinces of Kirkuk and Nineveh exclusively And from 1/8/2019 until 15/10/2019 to build the exceptional circumstances experienced by the mentioned provinces and the movement of internal displacement and to ensure voters vote in the new areas of residence in which they were displaced in those provinces.
Badran called on "displaced voters who are entitled to vote in these two governorates to update their data in the voters registry and to change their polling stations to those who wish to vote in polling stations close to their new areas of residence within the governorate. To vote only in the original polling stations in the areas from which they were displaced. " 
He also urged "voters in all the provinces not organized in the province to the need to update their data Bioitria who did not previously for the purpose of voting on the day of voting on the first of April of 2020."
