Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi announced Tuesday that the government decided to export oil to Syria and Jordan. 
"We have made several recommendations, including the export of oil to Jordan and Syria," Abdul Mahdi said at his weekly conference attended by the correspondent of Mawazine News. 
He added that "Iraq has lost the ports of export of oil and needs to diversify the export lines, we have concerns about what is happening in the Straits of Hormuz that tension affects the Iraqi economy." 
And on the production of wheat, explained Abdul Mahdi: "We reached about 4 million tons of wheat and this is a record in the history of Iraq and the government paid the dues of the peasants in full." 
"The Ministry of Education provided 100 billion dinars of the budget to print textbooks."

The cabinet on Tuesday approved Iraq's accession to the 1997 Protocol on the Prevention of Pollution from Ships.

The Council of Ministers held its regular session, chaired by Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi. 

"The Council endorsed the recommendations of the Ministerial Council on Energy on the following:

A-Project of the Iraqi-Jordanian crude oil export pipeline. 
B) Project for the establishment of an industrial island for the export of crude oil in the Iraqi territorial waters. 
"The Council of Ministers approved the installation of public directors in the state institutions according to the provisions of Article" 58 "of the Federal Budget Law for the fiscal year / 2019. 
"The Ministry of Housing and Construction approved the request of the Ministry of Construction and Housing, which includes the establishment of a fixed pedestrian bridge in the area of creations in the schedules of the investment plan of the ministry. 
He pointed out that "the Council approved the draft law of the second amendment to the Law of Roads No." 35 "of 2002 again on the Council of Ministers, and improve the business environment and investment.

BAGHDAD - The Iraqi cabinet has decided to set up an industrial island to be a platform for the export of crude oil from Iraqi territorial waters .

"The Council of Ministers approved the recommendations of the Ministerial Council for Energy and decided to establish an industrial island for the export of crude oil in the Iraqi territorial waters," the Iraqi cabinet said in a statement.

The Council added that the recommendations adopted at its meeting today also included the launch of the Iraqi-Jordanian crude oil pipeline project .

Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi described any disruption to oil exports across the Strait of Hormuz as a "major obstacle" to the Iraqi economy, noting that the Iraqi government was considering contingency plans to deal with any possible disruptions, including the search for alternative routes for oil exports .

"The Iraqi government is considering contingency plans to deal with any possible disruptions, including the search for alternative routes for oil exports," Abdul Mahdi said at the weekly government meeting on Tuesday .

On May 12, four civilian commercial cargo ships from several nationalities were subjected to sabotage operations near the UAE's territorial waters in the Gulf of Oman, towards the east coast near Fujairah and near the territorial waters and in the economic waters of the UAE.

Two days later, Saudi Arabia's minister of energy, industry and mineral wealth revealed two pumping stations for the East-West pipeline, which was transporting Saudi oil from oilfields in the eastern region to the port of Yanbu on the west coast from a drone attack .

King Salman also called for two Arab and Gulf summits to consult and coordinate with the brotherly countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the League of Arab States in order to enhance security and stability in the region.

This was our mistake way back when Bremmer disbanded the defeated iraq army.

all that accomplished was to turn loose a lot of unemployed men whose only skills

were how to shoot rifles and blow up things.mercenaries ready to be hired by anyone.
