Iraqi PTB most likely know this as well and had planned to give it a low rate to start, a limited amount of time to exchange and make the currency obsolete just before the Big RV back to $3.00 plus from the past. 

 

Introduce the new Dinar with out the 3 Zero's and all those holding the old notes would be SOL.

 

They did it to the Saddam Note.....Just one day they were useless and the new currency was issued.....Be it almost as useless.

Just a thought Karsten, but for those of us that have WARKA accounts, and I know WARKA has its own set of problems, but we might benefit from a float that comes in a bit lower than their final destination of $3.00 plus, say $1.20, and I wouldn't want to get greedy, Lol, so they can have all my Dinar at $1.20... But it would seem to me anything in that WARKA account would be free to float up to where ever. Of course we might get hammered on the TAX's when withdrawn. Remains to be seen, imo

NASDAQ and the Iraq Stock Exchange (BSE) have signed a new agreement to expand technology cooperation for the next five years, beginning in October 2019. NASDAQ continues to license and support the maintenance of systems and upgrades of trading technology and deposit securities for the next five years.

"The use of NASDEC technology is a positive sign for local and international investors and regulators, and Iraq will strengthen its efforts to become an important financial center for securities trading," said Taha Ahmed Abdul Salam, executive director of the stock market.

"With the next development and the use of the latest NASDAQ technology, the Iraq Stock Exchange will join the stock market community in the Middle East in deploying high quality multi-asset trading technology in line with international standards," said Michel Carlson, Managing Director, NASDAQ Middle East. , And we look forward to supporting the Iraqi stock market x as it continues to develop and innovate. "

The Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on Sunday issued a clarification on the salaries of regional employees, denying any changes in their salaries.
The minister of finance and economic in the provincial government Awat Sheikh Janab in a statement received by the twilight News, the ministry continues to distribute salaries of employees, but the money has not arrived from Baghdad so far.
Sheikh Janab added that the program of distributing salaries of employees has not undergone any changes, noting that once Baghdad sent the money, the ministry will distribute salaries according to the schedule prepared.
This comes at a time has been allocated an amount of 454 billion dinars for the salaries of employees of the region and more than 68 billion dinars for salaries of the Peshmerga in the Iraqi budget and the general Baghdad is still sending the amount monthly, but this month delayed to send the amount for several days so far.

This was posted the other day but it’s still great news imo. Another good sign of investments coming to Iraq.

 

Folks if Iran and her puppet Iraqi politicians don’t muck up the details Iraq is being set up to be the next Japan, the next S. Korea, the next Vietnam.  You would have to be 100% BLIND to not see the similarities.  Think about it, War, Cooling off period, Reconstruction and an emerging market for investors.  Iraq is a little tougher because of the Religion issue but make no mistake the big boys are in control. They won’t let Iran, ISIS, or anyone else stop the progress to come for Iraq.  

 

Hang in there Bros.  Goodness is coming for the people of Iraq and hopefully us as well.   I’ve waited a long time but think about how tough it has been for the people of Iraq.  Think about the US Soldiers who have sacrificed so much and think about their families.  Waiting is no big deal when you think bigger picture and for those who fought to free Iraq of a brutal despot.

The Finance Committee of the parliamentary, on Sunday, to maximize economic resources in the budget of 2020 through the introduction of agriculture and industry resources.
The committee member Dulaimi said in a statement to "Mawazin News" that "the Finance Committee put the 2020 budget strategy on the Ministry of Finance," indicating that "the budget will be different directions next year to represent the government's economic openness to investment and increase financial resources alternative to oil."
"There is no agreement so far about changing the price of a barrel of oil in the 2020 budget, and not in the provinces," Dulaimi said.
