The Executive Director of Sumer Commercial Bank Fouad Hamza said on Monday that the bank's acquisition of four international certificates in the field of quality will enhance its position locally and internationally

"The first certificate is ISO 9001 for 2015 related to quality management and ISO 27001 for 2013 related to the management of information security within the bank," Hamza said in an interview with Al-Iktissad News

He pointed out that "the fourth certificate is ISO 20000 for the year 2011 is related to the standards management of the information technology system and the fourth is ISO 22301 for 2012 and relates to the continuity of the business system within the bank

The director confirmed that the certificate of  ISO 22301  is the most important among its predecessors and "our bank race to obtain it," noting that "the Bank of Sumer met all the requirements of the banking business with the Central Bank of Iraq during 20172018

He said the bank had signed 16 contracts with Jordanian and Lebanese companies in the fields of banking training and infrastructure

Hamza said that the activities of the Association of Iraqi private banks "excellent" especially with regard to the training of banking cadres and finding solutions to the problems facing banks, revealing the participation of the Bank of Sumer, "78 courses and workshops and a seminar organized by the Association of Iraqi private banks during the past year"

Integrity: Director of the Department of the former reform systems of fake receipts to steal 14 billion dinars

The Integrity Commission announced on Monday the disclosure of thefts of public funds in the Iraqi Reform Department, indicating that the director of the Department and the former director of accounts to arrange the arrival of fake; to cover the theft of the amount of (14 billion,000) billion dinars. 

In a statement received by Al-Maaloumah, the agency said that "one of its investigative teams, under a ministerial order, in coordination with the Office of the Inspector-General of the Ministry of Justice, revealed thefts and waste of public funds in the procurement committees of the Department. Investigate and investigate the work of the Department of Reform." 

The statement added that "the investigations conducted by the team reached the director of the Department of Iraqi reform and the former director of the accounts in the organization of fake receipts, and the manipulation of documents; to cover the theft of the amount of fourteen billion dinars." The Commission confirmed that "the investigative team recommended, after the completion of the tasks assigned to him, to refer the defaulters in the theft of public funds to the judiciary; to take appropriate legal action against them."

Transportation: The coming period will witness the opening of Baghdad airport gates to passengers

Transport Minister Abdullah Luaibi on Sunday met with the committee to study the facilitation of entry procedures at Baghdad International Airport, headed by the military secretary of the Prime Minister, General Mohammad al-Bayati, in a joint meeting at the Ministry of Transport.

"The coming days will witness the opening of the gates of the airport to the passengers, following the example of the developed countries, and easing the congestion at the entrance to Baghdad International Airport," he told a meeting of the committee. 

"We will have field trips on land and air accompanied by the Secretary of the Prime Minister and the members of the committee concerned with the subject to see closely the corridors and gates and main roads that the government will begin to open to passengers and know the possibility of expanding the streets to accommodate the traffic momentum after the opening of the streets of the airport."  The Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, formed a technical technical committee under the supervision of the Minister of Transport to facilitate the entry of citizens to the halls of Baghdad International Airport.

Former health ministry officials have been jailed for stealing more than six billion dollars

The agency revealed the integrity of the details of the judgments against three former officials in the Ministry of Health; for stealing more than six billion dinars, indicating that the convicted seized the money after they adopted false lists, and the payment of salaries to the elements of protection (fictitious).

The Investigations Department of the Commission, in the details of the case investigated and referred to the judiciary, indicated that the fugitive convicts (former Inspector of the Office of the Technical Agent of the Ministry, Director of the Finance Department and the former Human Resources Management Section of the Administrative and Financial Department) Which are working, pointing out to the adoption of false lists for the protection of imaginary and pay their salaries without taking into account the instructions and controls on the disbursement; which led to theft and misappropriation of public funds amounted to (6.500 billion) billion dinars.

She added that the Criminal Court on Integrity Cases in Baghdad, after reviewing the statements of the legal representatives of the Ministries of Health and Interior, who requested the complaint against the defendants, in addition to the administrative investigation record, which proved the accused and the escape of the trial of the defendants, Of the Penal Code and in terms of articles 47, 48 and 49, and sentenced in absentia to each of them to seven years' imprisonment. The verdict included issuing an arrest warrant, conducting a fundamental search for the convicted, supporting the seizure of his movable and immovable property, as well as keeping the injured party (the Ministries of Health and Interior) with the right to seek compensation before the civil courts. In February, the Board announced that the same court had sentenced a member of the Ministry of Health to seven years' imprisonment in absentia in the same case.

Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, the commander of the armed forces, issued the Diwani Decree No. 237 stating that all popular mobilization forces should be part of the Iraqi armed forces and be appointed by the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. .

The armed factions must be integrated into regular forces, all armed units should be cut off from any political affiliation, and armed factions that choose political action should be prevented from carrying arms.

Diwani is required by all armed factions to implement the new regulations by July 31.

In the first reaction to the Diwani order, the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr announced the break-up of the Peace Brigades completely broke him, and praised the statement by the Prime Minister regarding the popular crowd, and said in a tweet on his site in Twitter: "What was issued by the President of the Council The ministers in terms of popular mobilization is important and the first step is correct towards building a strong state does not shake the wind from here and there. "

Based on the requirements of the public interest, and on the basis of the powers granted to us under the Constitution, and in the belief of the great role played by the popular mobilization fighters, and to ensure the immunization of its forces internally and externally and taking into account the smoothness of the work of these forces,

1. All popular forces shall operate as an integral part of the armed forces and shall apply to them all that applies to the armed forces, except as provided in a special text. These forces shall operate under the command of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and in accordance with its legislated law and its regulations. And be responsible for the head of the popular rallying body appointed by the commander-in-chief of the armed forces and associated with all forms of popular mobilization.

2. All the names used by the popular mobilization factions in the heroic battles to eliminate the terrorist entity are replaced by military names (brigade, brigade, regiment, etc.), including clan or any other local or national formations, They also carry military ranks in the armed forces as well.

3. These units, individuals and formations, shall sever any political or administrative affiliation from the previous organizations referred to in paragraph (2) above.

4 - factions that do not join the armed forces to become political organizations subject to the laws of parties and laws and controls of political and community work prevailing, and prevents the carrying of weapons only a permit and the requirements of the protection of civilian headquarters and leaders, as is the case with the rest of the political organizations.

5. The concentration camps of the popular mobilization forces shall be determined exactly as they are for the rest of the armed forces, and the areas of presence of the crowd shall be subject to the battle regime adopted in accordance with the established contexts of the armed forces.

6 - All the headquarters of the faction of popular crowd groups are closed, both in cities and outside.

7. The presence of any armed faction operating in secret or in public outside these instructions shall be prohibited and considered out of law and prosecuted under it.

8 - Close all economic offices or controls or presence or interests established outside the new framework for the work and formations of popular mobilization as an institution considered part of the armed forces.

9. The date of 31 July 2019 shall set a deadline for the finalization of the work under these controls.

10 - Orders will be issued later to the structure of the People's Assembly and its composition.
