Baghdad / Al-Sabah

Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, the commander of the armed forces, issued the Diwani Decree No. 237 stating that all popular mobilization forces should be part of the Iraqi armed forces and be appointed by the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. .

The armed factions must be integrated into regular forces, all armed units should be cut off from any political affiliation, and armed factions that choose political action should be prevented from carrying arms.

Diwani is required by all armed factions to implement the new regulations by July 31.

In the first reaction to the Diwani order, the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr announced the break-up of the Peace Brigades completely broke him, and praised the statement by the Prime Minister regarding the popular crowd, and said in a tweet on his site in Twitter: "What was issued by the President of the Council The ministers in terms of popular mobilization is important and the first step is correct towards building a strong state does not shake the wind from here and there. "

And came in the matter, which got "morning" a copy of it:
Based on the requirements of the public interest, and on the basis of the powers granted to us under the Constitution, and in the belief of the great role played by the popular mobilization fighters, and to ensure the immunization of its forces internally and externally and taking into account the smoothness of the work of these forces,

Sistani green light to close the popular crowd file

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi's decree on organizing the work of the Popular Popular Forces came in response to the desire of the supreme Shiite authority in the holy city of Najaf, represented by Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani.

The move comes in the context of a maneuver to spare these militias any direct confrontation with the United States, and to show the Iraqi prime minister as a strong figure with the ability to military groups loyal to Iran. But this maneuver raises fears in the Iraqi street that it leads to the conversion of militias to a secret mobilization within the institutions of the state, which retains all its entities and loyalties.

The sources told the "Arabs" that "Sistani sent messages to Abdul Mahdi, including his fears of the collapse of the popular crowd, especially in the event of armed confrontation between Iran and the United States."

According to sources, he consulted with the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr and the leader of the wisdom movement Ammar al-Hakim, before issuing his instructions on the popular mobilization.

Sistani and many Shi'ite parties, like Sadr and al-Hakim, fear that some Iraqi popular factions will be involved in military operations against the United States if they clash with Iran, providing Abdulmahdi with a great incentive to move.

The Iraqi Prime Minister issued a series of directives concerning the popular mobilization and its headquarters and political parties' links, which determined the legal status of this force and the point of contact and names of the factions operating within the framework and the ranks carried by the elements.

Abadi embarrass Abdul Mahdi: you arranged the situation of the crowd What about the Peshmerga

Iraqi observers unanimously agreed that the new government directives did not include a fundamental amendment to the law passed by the Iraqi parliament three years ago to regulate popular mobilization and subsequent instructions to implement the law, but highlighted the problematic nature of the force for the Iraqi government.

For many in Iraq, many grass-roots factions operate outside the Iraqi government's authorities and have no right to account or even move them. This is a major embarrassment to Baghdad in its relations with neighbors in the region, as well as the United States and the West.

Observers warn of over-optimism about the impact of the government's direction on the country's landscape, with close ties between the powerful factions in the popular crowd and Iran, giving it political momentum, perhaps the official institution in Baghdad can not survive.

If the government intends to impose its authority on this influential force, this would entail taking into account the armed confrontation with it, an option the United States strongly encourages Iraqi leaders to adopt.

But a confrontation of this kind must take Iran's response into consideration. Tehran will not allow Baghdad to liquidate an ally of this kind at a time of great escalation between the United States and Iran.

Many believe that Sistani's entry into the support line to curtail the power of popular mobilization in Iraq would strengthen the government's ability to move ahead with its plans, amid observers questioning the ability of the prime minister himself to go too far in the face of the crowd.

The fate of Abdul-Mahdi political support provided by the parliamentary bloc bloc, which represents most of the popular forces in the House of Representatives led by Hadi Amiri, close to Iran.

It is inconceivable that Abdel Mahdi will adopt a confrontational approach with the rebellious parties in the popular rally without breaking his political partnership with the Fatah bloc, which means that the price of confrontation may be the overthrow of the government itself.

But the other side on which Mr Abdul Mahdi relies on covering his government is the Sadr Alliance, sponsored by Moqtada al-Sadr, one of the strongest in the Shi'ite arena.

Observers believe that the weight of Sistani, Sadr and US support, as well as the support expected by most Sunni and Kurdish political forces for any government decision to curtail the role of popular mobilization, could be powerful tools in the hands of the Iraqi prime minister to clarify the course of his dubious relationship with Iran, Against the arms of its armed influence in Iraq.

The Iraqi political community is waiting for a new Danish order from Abdul Mahdi, who has explicitly stated this in recent directives.

In the event that the new order includes detailed decisions affecting the entity of influential forces in the popular mobilization, by directing the transfer of headquarters or the replacement of their leaders, or integration into existing security organs under official leadership, there may be a frank confrontation in Iraq between the government and the allies of Iran, .

Observers reduce the risk of a clash between the crowd and Abdul Mahdi, believing that the Iraqi prime minister is maneuvering to show his power in front of Washington, but knows that any confrontation with Tehran and its allies will not be for his benefit, so what is happening closer to the joint maneuver between him and Tehran to absorb the American anger on the militias and the exclusion of the hypothesis the war.

Whether or not Abdul Mahdi is supported by Sistani, he will not be able to control the movement of the Popular Populist militia in relation to the US-Iran conflict unless coordinated with his major factions.

He ruled out an Iraqi political observer that the Iraqi government resort to a shocking decision, which can embarrass her on the one hand to detect the weakness of its tricks if an armed conflict prevail in which the popular crowd, which prefer Iran to remain in control of matters in Iraq without entering into an armed confrontation, Would serve as an incident that would lead to war.

The observer says in a statement to the "Arabs" that what can be taken by Abdul Mahdi remains within the formal decisions that seek to appease many countries, some leaders of the crowd are waving to target and hit their interests even before things get to the brink of abyss.

The observer adds that such formal decisions may result in a kind of temporary truce that would serve as a gift from Iran to the government of Abdul Mahdi in order to ease the United States pressure on them so as not to look relationship between the government and the popular crowd as if they reached the stage of estrangement.

He predicted that the movement of a number of armed factions, "marginal" factions, which are not part of the basic force of the popular mobilization, will be announced. This will benefit the two parties, the government that will appear to have influence and the popular mobilization that will get rid of the burden of these factions.

The National Business Council member Ghadir Attar, on Wednesday, said that "the liberalization of prices of the most important implications of the market economy."

Al-Attar said in a press release that "the work of the responsible commercial bodies on the liberalization of prices is a very important step of the implications of the market economy."

At the same time, Al-Attar criticized some of the state's demands to activate the market economy and also demanded food pricing, pointing out that "the contradiction of claims leads to confusion in the market situation in terms of selling, buying and pricing food."

"Government subsidies for local production sectors are needed, but support for consumer goods prices intersects the market economy and therefore the market economy does not provide full consumer protection," he said.

Right, gonna throw a wee bit of a spanner in the works. I STREE THIS IS NOT MY VIEW POINT. Had a friend in another group advise that he has spoken to folks in Kurdistan media company who claim their is no plans to RV anytime because the dinar is not ripe for forex investment and for over the last 10 years it has not moved much against the dollar. This person does not now believe it will ever rv?

However, my argument would be they have been under sanctions for over a decade approximately and during this time the dinar was never viable for the forex. Given the huge progress they have made over the years and particularly since the ? imf said they had to free their currency and PROTUS kicked them in the knackers they have been moving at lightening speed. Why would you do all that not to have a currency of value?

I think the SPV between the Bicraqi Iraqi AND the Insanians IN Bicraqi Iraqi Dinar IN Bicraqi Iraqi Banks TO PAY FOR "humanitarian" Insanian imports (in Bicraqi Iraqi Dinar???!!!) IS A VERY BIG DEAL!!!
