Jim was driving from Texas to Las Vegas in a Volkswagen Beetle. As he stopped a traffic light a guy in a Rolls Royce with Nevada plates pulled up next to him.
The windows were open in both vehicles and Jim shouted to the guy in the Rolls, "Hey, you got a telephone in that Rolls?" The guy in the Rolls says, "Yes, of course, I do." "I got one too... see?" said Jim. "Uh, huh, yes, that's very nice." The Rolls driver said condescendingly.
"You got a fax machine?" asked Jim. "Why, actually, yes, I do." Said the Rolls driver. "I do too! See? It's right here!" bragged Jim.
The light was about to turn green and Jim shouted to the Rolls driver, "So, do you have a double bed in back there?" The guy in the Rolls replied, "NO! Do you?" "Yep, got my double bed right in back here, see?" said Jim. The light turned green and Jim took off.
The guy in the Rolls was not about to be one-upped by a VW driving Texan so he immediately went to a customizing shop and ordered a double bed in the back of his car. About a week later, he picked up his car and drove all over Vegas looking for the VW driving Texan. Finally, he found it parked alongside the road, so he pulled his Rolls up next to it.
The windows on the Volkswagen were all fogged up and he felt somewhat awkward about it, but he got out of his newly modified Rolls and tapped on the foggy window of the VW. Jim finally opened the window a crack and peeked out. The guy in the Rolls said, "Hey, remember me?" "Yeah, yeah, I remember you," replied Jim, "What's up?" "Check this out... I got a double bed installed in my Rolls."
Jim sighed in disgust and said, "YOU GOT ME OUT OF THE SHOWER JUST TO TELL ME THAT?!"
