I remember that hair spray and have a prom pic with the OMG look on my face.

 The hair did not budge even after sticking my head in the sink and running

I thought the Dippity-Doo was for her too?  Brill Cream, or VO5, was for the guys. Wasn't it?  I was just a little kid in the 60's. I was born in 1959. But I remember the 60's very well.

Dippity-Doo was our shellac!  VO5 was a good hairspray, but if you wanted your hair smooth as ice and shiny as steel, Doo was the way to go.
