Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta Email (via Wikileaks): “We’ve all… Conspire(d) to Produce an Unaware and Compliant Citizenry”

Posted on March 13, 2016 by LeeF

podesta-emails-300x232.pngAn email was sent to Hillarious Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta by former Clinton administration official Bill Ivy on March 13, 2016.

The Clinton campaign email, released as part of the Wikileaks data dump on October 10, 2016, talks about the need to maintain political power by producing an unaware and compliant citizenry.

Ivy was appointed Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts during Bill Clinton’s second term. According to his bio, Ivy “is a trustee of the Center for American Progress (a Clinton campaign front), and was a Team Leader in the Barack Obama presidential transition.”

In the email, Ivy outlines the panic amongst some Democrats that Donald Trump’s “celebrity politics” persona cannot be matched by Hillarious, who is “not an entertainer, and not a celebrity in the Trump, Kardashian mold.”

To emphasize, Ivy admits that the left has ‘conspired’ to “produce an unaware and compliant citizenry” but that they’re not as easy to manipulate anymore and that this is a problem. He characterizes “unawareness” amongst the public as a positive thing for the Clinton campaign.

WIKILEAKS-EMAIL-740x648.jpg

During the 2016 Presidential campaign, mainstream media had a strong bias towards Hillarious Clinton. Trump, who is anti-establishment and has given indications in speeches that he will expose and seek to derail the ‘establishment’, the globalist elite and their plans of essentially world domination.

The videos below give a little insight into the conspiracy to 'produce an unaware and compliant citizenry'.

In this video, Charlotte Iserbyt was a former Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI) of the U.S. Department of Education during the first term of U.S. President Ronald Reagan as well as staff employee of the U.S. Department of State (South Africa, Belgium, South Korea). She was a whistleblower on the intentional dumbing down agenda in the education system that continues today and details her findings below.

VIDEO: An interview by G. Edward Griffin of Norman Dodd.

Dodd was the chief investigator of the Reece Committee in 1953, a committee organized to investigate the activities of certain tax-exempt organizations to determine if their activities were un-American. Before the investigation was abruptly shut down, Dodd and his team had discovered in the minutes of meetings of the Carnegie Endowment, Rockefeller Foundation, and the Ford Foundation – a clandestine plan to manipulate and mold society away from constitutional principles and towards acceptance of communistic values via education and involvement in wars (exhausting citizens to give up rights for security).

Since the original publication of the 743-page, 8-1/2″x11″ tome, readers have requested a smaller, lighter version. This new version is in response to those many requests. The afterword, glossary, resources, appendices and index have all been removed from the 2011 version. Of utmost importance is the addition of “Update” which covers the final, but long-planned, institutionalization, since publication of the original book in 1999, of three activities, relatively new to the reader: (1) the use of unconstitutional tax-supported (public/private partnership) charter schools run by unelected boards. These schools use non-graded Skinnerian computer instruction to train for the planned economy (school to work); (2) global values-changing education, including International Baccalaureate programs and (3) restructuring of our nation’s representative governmental structure, using regionalism (socialism) with its unelected councils (soviets), and communitarianism.

er Common Core insider and current public school teacher, Brad McQueen, delivers a compelling firsthand account of coming face to face with the inner workings of the Common Core. When he discovers what it has in store for our children’s minds and our country’s exceptionalism, he decides to work towards the destruction of the Common Core beast. Written in a concise, easy-to-read style, The Cult of Common Core will inform you, alarm you, but it will also arm you with the necessary facts to intelligently and forcefully fight for your children and your country before school boards or arrogant politicians who voted it into your life. Using humor, and plain, mostly acronym-free language, Brad takes you with him to Chicago as he works with the Common Core high command. Brad takes you through a history of the Common Core and identifies all the key players, as well as warns you of the Common Core’s true intentions for your child and our education delivery system. Brad takes down each of the Common Core’s talking points one by one. Common Core is more “rigorous”….no. Common Core has overwhelming support of teachers?…..no. Common Core was a “state-led” initiative?….no. The federal government has no role in Common Core?….hell no. Brad also details the intimidation from his State Department of Education as his anti-Common Core message became public. Just as we are moving from theory to implementation with Obamacare and discovering its true goals with healthcare, so too shall America begin discovering Common Core’s goals for education. Don’t be on the sidelines in the fight for your children’s minds and our country’s exceptionalism! This is the anti-Common Core movement’s “little red book” to fight the Common Core’s “big red agenda”.

This was never about impeaching Trump, albeit, the democrats want such action to occur. No, this is a sleight of hand by the democrats. As the impeachment trial occurs in the Senate, no other legislation or other business is conducted by the Senate. What does this mean? Let's look at something that happened in the final year of the previous President. In February 2016 WaPo ran with the headline

Republicans vow no hearings and no votes for Obama’s Supreme Court pick

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/wp/2016/02/23/key-senate-republicans-say-no-hearings-for-supreme-court-nom

So we see in 2016 the Republicans would not and did not have any hearings for then sitting President Obama. Thus denying a democrat from appointing a leftist to SCOTUS. The Republicans did say they would do so after the Presidential election. This is another among a long list of reasons why "elections have consequences" and why the democrats are so hell bent on over turning the 2016 election results and have been set on interfering with the 2020 elections.

As of January 26. 2020 President Donald J. Trump has had the US Senate  confirm 187 Article III Federal Justices. This list includes

  • 2 Associate Justices of the Supreme Court
  • 50 Justices for the United States Court of Appeals
  • 133 Justices for the United States District Courts
  • 2 Judges for United States Court of International Trade

There are 18 nominations to Article III courts awaiting Senate action, including:

  • 1 Justice for the United States Court of Appeals
  • 16 Justices for the United States District Courts
  • 1 Justice for the United States Court of International Trade

In terms of Article I courts, as of January 9, 2020, the Senate has confirmed 15 judges nominated by Trump, including

There are currently 8 nominations to Article I courts awaiting Senate action, including

  • 3 for the United States Court of Federal Claims and
  • 3 for the Tax Court and 2 for the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

There are currently

  • 6 vacancies on the U.S. Court of Federal Claims,
  • 4 on the U.S. Tax Court, 2 on the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims,
  • 0 on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Services, and
  • 0 on the U.S. Court of Military Commission Review.

Trump designated Susan G. Braden and Margaret M. Sweeney as chief judges of the Court of Federal Claims.  There is currently 1 nomination to an Article IV court awaiting Senate action. In terms of Article IV territorial courts, as of January 3, 2020, Trump has not made any appointments or elevated any judges to the position of chief judge.

Knowing that POTUS Trump has fundamentally transformed and is in the process of changing the biases of the court either towards a neutral or more right leaning court, the democrats had to do something with the most utmost urgence.

A second reason tied to this is the fact the Senate was not turned over during the midterm elections. Instead, not only was the Senate house not turned over, the democrats lost seats during the midterm election giving the republicans the majority power to break any procedure that required 51 votes to break or pass. A tie-in here is that Democrats have chided that McConnell has held up and continues to tie up legislation but there is precedence as the The Hill stated, "House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) told "Fox News Sunday" in June 2014 that then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was responsible for holding up 240 House bills. 'The Senate has not moved anything. They never send something to the president's desk. So, how do you even negotiate with the president if he doesn't have the bill on his desk?' he said at the time. The Hill further went on to explain in their 2016  article, "At the height of criticism from the House, The Washington Post broke down the number of House bills that have been stuck in the Senate for every Congress since 1975."

One other reason related to the transformation of the courts is the SCOTUS seat of the Honorable Ruth Bader-Ginsberg. Should RBG leave the SCOTUS at this time, POTUS would have the inevitable duty to nominate a replacement. Trump does have a list of potential replacements.  RBG has said she would not leave the SCOTUS while a Republican was in office. Thus far she has held up to her word, although her health is slowly waning and has given many of our brethren on the left many scares.

Since the Democrats could not get their way in the Senate of the United States of America, the Democrats chose to weaponize the MOAB of the Constitution of the United States, impeachment. This is the final rationale behind why Impeachment was passed in December 2019, after 78 days of procedural ramblings. Today (January 27, 2020) Ken Star took the Senate through what he called the "Age of Impeachment" and in his argument to the Senate members clearly stated that Impeachment had been weaponized. Now we know the rest of the story....

When you see the rationale behind why the Democrats hurriedly pushed impeachment in the House, you will then understand why Senators on the left are now calling for witnesses. This has not been lost on the likes of Schumer. The outcome of this impeachment is almost a forgone conclusion. Al witnesses should have been declared in the discovery phase of Impeachment which is given by sole authority to the House of Representatives. When the House sends over the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate, it is the recommendation upon the due diligence of the House of Rep's Investigation. The Senate Trial is not a normal trial as we know trial's to be held in the Judicial branch of the United States. Dues Process is still held up by all in this process. Here the House sends to the Senate their Prosecutors and the President sends their defense team. The two present their arguments for the Articles based on the findings from the House. Witnesses that are called during an impeachment trial are typically only the ones that were called during the Impeachment Inquiry which occurs in the House of Representatives. Calling forth new witnesses to which the House has not deposed onto the Senate floor will only extend this trial for an indeterminate period of time. What this accomplishes is not the removal of the President, rather this accomplishes the Senate from conducting their business of the day such as working on the list of confirming Judicial nominations.

The House did not mess up in their investigation. This was the plan all along. Bring forth enough witnesses to placate the Articles of Impeachment then to have the Senate call for new witnesses into the Impeachment Trial. Thus in the end the Senate would be prevented from conducting business such as Judicial Confirmations.

This leads up to why the insides of Bolton's book was released on timely basis. If we look at how Kavanaugh's Confirmation process  and the leaks of information during that process we see a determined pattern of release of information. This same SOP is being conducted during the Impeachment Trial. The content of the leak only matters towards satisfying the outcome of what is considered the behavior needed by those needing the leak to happen. Once the behavior sought is then obtained, the content is usually a disappointment or a as someone aptly said, "a nothingburger". Bolton is being used by the left and his anger towards his let go by Trump has made him a blind and willing participant in this scheme.

Some will say this is coup d'etat and in a sense it is a legal one but after an illegal attempt failed. The reason for this is can be seen in the previous thread in which the POTUS Trump is changing the makeup of the Judicial Branch. This is and was one of his platforms he ran upon. By changing the makeup of the Courts, the privileges once ensconced by the left seeking to create law through adjudication has been dealt a serious blow for at least a couple of decades. For example, the Ninth Circuit Court was a common court sough out by the Left to get a favorable opinion. Although the Court still has more left-leaning judges than right-leaning, the opportunity to get a right-leaning judge on the docket has exponentially increased.

So you can see here that removing Trump has far more implications as to the reasons why they want to remove him than just some snowflake has been triggered by a red hat or a MAGA slogan. The implications lie within their Constitutional and political makeup of this country. the left seeks to destroy the Constitution, and yet might accomplish this through the education system of our children with programs like Kommon Kore, safe spaces, lack of First Amendment protections afforded to these students, etc. I could go on and on, not because of right wing politics but because of Constitutional infringements that are being perpetrated daily by members on both sides of the aisle.

Most people live in the culture of "I want it now or none at all" when it takes a series of steps to accomplish some goals. Research was done on how easy a negative thought was accepted and then how long it took to correct versus a negative one. A negative thought is 6 times more easy to 1) be believable and 2) be accepted than a positive one. It was 6 times harder to get rid of a negative than a positive one. This is why our culture is negative based or is called the Negative Nanny state.

Cruz: Hearing from witnesses could extend Senate trial to up to 8 weeks

BY ZACK BUDRYK - 01/19/20 10:24 AM EST

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said Sunday that the Senate’s impeachment trial could last as long as eight weeks if the chamber elects to hear from witnesses.

“I think it’s certainly possible that this trial could last one to two weeks. On the other hand, if the Senate makes the decision to go down the road of additional witnesses, that could extend it to six to eight weeks or even longer,” Cruz told Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.

“This week is going to be the first time in a year that the president has had the opportunity to defend himself, to lay out the facts, to lay out the law, to lay out the actual substance,” he added.

Cruz, like his fellow Senate Judiciary Committee member Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), said that if the Senate does vote to call witnesses, rules of reciprocity should apply.

“If the prosecution gets a witness, the defense gets a witness. If the prosecution gets two, the defense gets two. If the prosecution gets to call [former national security adviser] John Bolton, the prosecution gets to call Hunter Biden,” Cruz said. “The Democrats are terrified about seeing a witness like Hunter Biden testify because they don’t want to hear evidence of actual corruption.”

Democrats, Cruz said, “blocked all those witnesses in the House. They’re not going to succeed in blocking them in the Senate. If they want to go down the road of witnesses, that means the president enjoys the rights to due process, which means he can call witnesses and lay out his defense.”

Senate Republicans push back on calls for more impeachment witnesses

Republicans appeared unmoved by Democrats’ arguments for Trump’s removal and reiterated that the Senate shouldn’t seek new evidence.

Senate Republicans on Sunday defended President Donald Trump and panned calls for witnesses to testify in the Senate impeachment trial, ahead of the start of the second week.

In interviews on major networks, Republicans appeared unmoved by House Democrats’ opening arguments for Trump’s removal and reiterated that the Senate should not seek new evidence.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and a strong Trump ally, warned on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo” that calling in witnesses would cause more havoc.

“What do we do?” Graham said. “Delay the trial so the president can go to court? Or do we as the Senate destroy the president’s ability to go to court — a bad spot to be in in the Senate ... If we seek witnesses, then we’re going to throw the country into chaos.”

House impeachment managers and Senate Democrats have made repeated calls for the chamber to subpoena witnesses, including acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney and Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton, as well as documents related to the administration’s hold on aid to Ukraine. The White House has repeatedly blocked witnesses from testifying. But most Senate Republicans argue that they should have to evaluate only the evidence the House used to draft articles of impeachment against Trump.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), a House impeachment manager, acknowledged on CNN’s “State of the Union“ that Democrats did, to an extent, surrender to the White House’s stonewalling by not continuing the fight to force witness subpoenas in court.

“I guess, in that sense, we did, because, if we had waited for three or four years, the election would be over,” she said. “ The issue would be almost moot. If he is committing a high crime and misdemeanor now, and continuing to do it, we need to act.“

"If we seek witnesses, then we’re going to throw the country into chaos."

- Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.)

Trump was impeached in December for pressuring the Ukrainian government to investigate his political rivals and withholding aid to the country.

Monday will mark the second day for Trump’s lawyers to make their opening arguments. They are not expected to use the full 24 hours they’ve been given. After those arguments, senators will proceed to a 16-hour question-and-answer period before taking a contentious vote this week on whether to bring in additional witnesses.

Democrats will need at least four Senate Republicans to join them in order to achieve their demands. While GOP Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Mitt Romney of Utah and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska are among the senators who could be open to calling witnesses, Democrats appear less optimistic that they will get the votes they need.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) declined on Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation” to “forecast” whether four Republicans would call for more witnesses, but made clear where he stood.

“I’m not going to vote to approve witnesses, because the House Democrats have had lots of witnesses, we heard from them over and over and over again this week,” Cotton said. “We don’t need to prolong what’s already taken five months of the American people’s time.”

One of the House impeachment managers, Rep. Val Demings (D-Fla.), also declined on Sunday to predict whether the Senate would have enough votes to bring in additional witnesses.

“I’m just not going to give up on the Senate and I’m not going to draw any conclusions, although I know there’s a lot of speculation about what they may do or may not do,” Demings said on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.” “I’m not going to draw any other conclusions.”

IMPEACHMENT TODAY

John Bolton wrote in an initial draft of his book that Trump told him that critical military aid to Ukraine would remain suspended until the country helped with investigations targeting Joe Biden.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS

Senate Republican leadership is eyeing a swift vote to acquit Trump this week, should the witness vote fail. That would allow Trump to be acquitted before his State of the Union address on Feb. 4. It would also give time to the four Senate Democrats running for president to return to Iowa and make their final pitch before the state’s caucus on Feb. 3.

Amid their calls for witnesses and documents, Democrats have also highlighted an ABC News report that captured Trump in 2018 ordering the removal of Marie Yovanovitch as U.S. ambassador to Ukraine. Lev Parnas, a former associate of Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, was at the dinner during which Trump made the remarks and has provided the recording to the House Intelligence Committee. Trump has denied knowing Parnas.

When asked about Trump’s denial on CNN, Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) noted that “the president meets a lot of people.” Cotton, meanwhile, said on “Face the Nation” that the recording’s release hadn’t influenced the votes of any senators and reminded him of Democratic attempts to block Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. He added that Trump was told Yovanovitch predicted he would be impeached. Yovanovitch has denied ever making that statement.

“The president has the right to remove any ambassador for any reason or no reason whatsoever,” Cotton said. “An ambassador badmouthing the president is a pretty sound reason to remove an ambassador.“

This week’s witness vote comes after Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the lead House impeachment manager and chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, read an anonymous quote during his closing statement that threatened Republicans would have their “head on a pike” if they broke with Trump. Though the statement will not make or break the case against Trump, it didn’t help win over senators like Collins or Murkowski who could be sympathetic to Democratic calls for witnesses. They, along with other Republican senators, have pushed back vehemently.

But Schiff stood by those remarks on Sunday, and further highlighted Trump’s tweet describing him hours earlier as a “corrupt politician” who “has not paid the price, yet, for what he has done to our country.”

“I made the argument that it’s going to require moral courage to stand up to this president,” Schiff said on NBC's “Meet the Press With Chuck Todd.” “This is a wrathful and vindictive president. I don’t think there’s any doubt about it, and if you think there is, look at the president’s tweets about me today.”

Exactly like that.....That's why it's so disturbing to see seemingly intelligent people still supporting Don the Con.  As always, just my opinion.

GO RV, then BV

The ringing of an alarm is not the problem but the person ringing it. I believe there is a word out there that would qualify here and it begins with an h and ends with a y.

It could also be said that it is disturbing that seemingly intelligent people are not supporting him and supporting the corrupt media in tearing him down. Jmho
