I think the only " Movement " we're seeing lately is " bowel " unleashing a mighty torrent of  :bs:. Well we wait . . . & wait a bit further. :rocking-chair: Like some here I've been at this for 16 years now. I'd like to say enough is enough, but apparently it just aint enough for Iraq. Four "embarrassing" political blocs from their "disgruntled" audience consider sacking Abdul Mahdi

2019/09/08 02:19:51
A-AA+

Shafq News/ Pessimistic speculation is mounting these days about the future of Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi and his government, and the possibility that the latter will resign voluntarily, or that large political blocs will agree to remove him from office.

The tweet of Sadrist leader Muqtada al-Sadr, the biggest supporter of Abdul Mahdi, in which he declared the "end of the government", if not taking strict measures to modify its course, came to intensify that speculation, as reinforced by an uncirculated phrase and it is rumored that Adel Abdul Mahdi addressed it to the leaders of some political blocs and said in it "That's all I can do, look for a replacement."

"Some political blocs are now feeling very embarrassed in front of their disgruntled public about the stagnation that most of the country is experiencing under the government of Abdul Mahdi," a source said on condition of anonymity.

"Not a few political blocs are surprised by the weakness that accompanies the work of the current prime minister and his lack of strength to stand up to the challenges facing the state, especially in the area of external violations and some armed factions that are in fused and the economic file," he said.

However, the source said that "the political blocs realize that the dismissal of the prime minister is complex and difficult, so they prefer to surround him politically and force him to resign voluntarily."

No prime minister has been replaced or dismissed by political blocs or the Iraqi parliament since 2003, and no prime minister during the last four parliamentary sessions has been removed from office through voluntary resignation during his four-year term.

yota, I’m thinking the only thing that could save Mahdi’s PM job is either arresting Maliki an a few of his thugs or RV the Dinar an give the people some purchasing power.

He’s going down the same road as Abadi, if he hadn’t run ISIS out of Iraq he wouldn’t have lasted his full term as PM either in my opinion.....

According to many politicians, analysts and specialists on the Iraqi issue, and even organizations, associations and international institutes interested in it , the five Iraqi governments prior the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi, did not achieve what the government of Abdul Mahdi has achieved.

Adel Abdul Al-Mahdi is the only prime minister who has no parliamentary support in Iraqi parliament , in other words , he has no parliamentary member in the House of Representatives affiliated to him, his government needs from the Iraqi media in all its forms to highlight some of the achievements of his government even if those achievements are simple from their point of view and not underestimated.

I believe they want to remove him because he’s fighting against financial and administrative corruption and many of high government officials are involved.

Go PM

Go battle against corruption

Go development

The coalition of state law, led by Nuri al-Maliki, the Alliance of Conquest headed by Hadi al-Amiri and others headed by Moqtada al-Sadr to confuse the government of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and put obstacles in front of them.

According to the leader of the coalition Mohammed al-Sihoud during his statements on Sunday, September 8, 2019, the alliance of Fatah and others bear responsibility for the failures of the government because they brought Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, who reached a dead end.

The leader of Maliki's coalition said that the two alliances came from Abdul-Mahdi and formed the government and even imposed ministers by constant pressure until the political process and the government reached a dead end.

He stressed in return that Abdul Mahdi is responsible for the spread of corruption and oil smuggling operations in the Kurdistan region and through them.

The Jews stressed that any change in the near future must be away from the alliances because they will choose a character far from them so that they can easily abandon them later as they do now.

Baghdad - Writings

The Islamic Supreme Council in Iraq ended the controversy over what was raised about political moves to dismiss Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, stressing his rejection of the move.

According to a leader of the council, on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, he confirmed that the council had full conviction that Abdul Mahdi and his government would complete the four years without any withdrawal of confidence.

The council attributed that conviction to what it said was that the government enjoyed great political support, especially from the Alliance of Construction, which includes large Shiite and Sunni forces, and there is strong support from the Kurdish forces as well.

With regard to what some parties see as the failure of his government to fulfill the required, the reply came that four important ministries in the cabin of Abdul-Mahdi did not complete until after eight months, while the Ministry of Education is vacant at the time of writing.

The council hinted that there are achievements of Abdul Mahdi's government at the political, economic and agricultural levels, warning that toppling him and his government enters the country in a dark tunnel because it is difficult to find an alternative agreed by international parties and political blocs.
