Hello Botz......

Sorry to say but I believe that's just impossible...Those cartels will never be wiped out..... The power they hold in terms of money  ( unlimited resources), firearm power, men and women working for them  and cahoots with politics ( corruption etc) will never be eradicated....

Sure you may have a few arrests and even significant  drug seizures here and there once in awhile...But the monster grew way too much ( just like mafia groups here in my country...Cosa Nostra from Sicily, Camorra from Naples and  'Ndrangheta from Calabria, the worst of all)

Many years ago Colombia's superboss Pablo Escobar Gaviria offered to pay the entire debt of Colombia in change of an officially-sealed  freedom deal with the Colombian Gov't....Big shots said no ( what else could they say)...Just gives you  the idea of how powerful those cartels are....... When caught he was anyway able to get a special jail built in the countryside  just for him with basically total freedom...

I heard that by now the Mexican cartels are altogether bigger and strongere than Colombian cartels

Trump warns Mexico of a "more difficult phase" if immigration is not stopped

Trump warns Mexico of a "more difficult phase" if immigration is not stopped

12 June 2019 11:49 PM
Direct US President Donald Trump said that if Mexico did not stop immigration to the United States under the agreement reached by the two countries last week , it will enter a second phase more difficult.

Trump announced last week that the United States had reached an agreement with Mexico on the suspension of US tariffs, which was due to go into effect last Monday indefinitely.

In remarks to the White House on Wednesday, the US president did not elaborate on what could happen in the next stage against Mexico.

Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Eberard said his country had 45 days to show the United States that tariffs were not necessary under the agreement.

"You would never have reached a deal with Mexico without threatening tariffs," he said.

"We have 45 days during which we can decide whether to implement this threat or not," Trump said.

President of JPMorgan: I spoke with Trump at a fruitful trade meeting

President of JPMorgan: I spoke with Trump at a fruitful trade meeting

 14 June 2019 10:33 PM
Direct : Description of "Jamie Dimon , " Chief Executive Officer of the Bank "Ja.ba.morjan" meeting with US President Donald Trump on the prospects of trade agreement between the United States, Mexico and Canada as fruitful.

"We support the implementation of the United States trade agreement with Canada and Mexico," Dimon said in brief remarks after the meeting with CNN.

Dimon, managing the largest lender by assets in the United States, declined to comment on the details of his meeting with Trump, but stressed that the implementation of the North American deal was a top priority.

"We will do our best to make the deal, it is very important for the United States, it is very good for the economy," Dimon said.

Trump had threatened tariffs on Mexican imports if it did nothing to stop illegal immigration before the two sides reached an agreement late last week.

In November, the United States reached a new trade agreement with Mexico and Canada to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Follow - up / Tomorrow Press:

conducted news agency Associated Press of America, an investigation into investigative detention of migrants on the US - Mexico border conditions, and concluded that their detention "extremely deplorable conditions."

The agency said Monday that Mexican authorities are holding thousands of migrants under inhumane conditions to prevent them from reaching the United States, to avoid threats by US President Donald Trump to impose fees on them.

Based on interviews with some 20 migrants, it was found that there was a piling inside the detention centers, with 50 people sleeping only in an area of nine meters, and there was a severe shortage of food and water supplies.

"The latrines are flooded with human excrement, and women are forced to sleep in hallways or in dining halls between mice and cockroaches, under degrading treatment by guards," she said.

"They threw us here like animals," says a Honduran woman interviewed by the agency.

Since late April, more than 2,000 immigrants have been detained at the Siglo XXI center on the border with the United States, " said Edgar Corzo, of the National Human Rights Commission of Mexico that there is no proper infrastructure to deal with the flow of these large numbers of immigrants. , With more than twice the capacity of 960 people.

The United Nations refugee agency and other organizations have criticized detention centers in Mexico even before the current crisis, saying migrants are being held in substandard conditions and being systematically blackmailed, according to the same source.

Earlier this month, Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Eberard admitted that immigration facilities on the southern border had been "neglected for a long time" and were "far below standards".

Mexico has held more than 74,000 immigrants since January and deported more than 53,000 people, according to the Associated Press.
Trump announced earlier this month the suspension of plans to impose customs duties on goods from Mexico, after reaching agreement with them on immigrants.

"Mexico has agreed to take action to stop the influx of migrants to our southern border, in order to reduce the number of immigrants from Mexico to the United States or to prevent them altogether," he said.

Trump, who has been criticized for his anti-immigration policies, is demanding the construction of a wall to curb "illegal immigration and drug trafficking" on the border with Mexico.
