Egyptian and Iraqi diplomatic sources revealed that a deadline for Prime Minister Mustapha Medbouli's visit to Baghdad is currently being set up to hold "important" talks on the tense regional situation in the region and the bilateral relations between the two countries. And his Iraqi counterpart, Adel Abdul Mahdi, and the participation of a ministerial delegation and investment huge; to launch a partnership in the field of reconstruction.
The Iraqi diplomatic sources said that after lengthy meetings to prepare for an extended visit to the delegation of a high-level Egyptian government to Baghdad, headed by Medbouli, was finally agreed on the date of the High Joint Committee between Egypt and Iraq in Baghdad, which will coincide with the holding of political and diplomatic "sensitive" between the two sides to follow developments in The region, and confirm the role of Egypt and Iraq in achieving regional stability at this stage, while another Egyptian source said that it is expected to convene the Committee after almost a week after the end of the holiday of Eid al-Fitr, the middle of next month. 
The High Joint Committee of the two countries is held in Baghdad after postponing more than a month in April. It was discussed several times during the month, but it was not agreed on reasons that were mostly related to the agenda of the two governments. Region.
She stressed that Egypt and Iraq have great interest in calm the volatile atmosphere in the Gulf, and despite the lack of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Iran, but that the upcoming talks between Egypt and Iraq, may provide momentum to calm the situation. 
She explained that the meetings of the committee will follow the executive position of the outcome of the tripartite summit between President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, King Abdullah II of Jordan and President Abdul-Mahdi, where a mechanism for tripartite cooperation was agreed upon and enhanced cooperation, coordination and integration among the three countries. The sources pointed out that Iraq seeks to integrate energy with Jordan and Egypt and through the Basra-Aqaba oil pipeline project to diversify oil export outlets, in reference to Baghdad's desire to find alternative ways to export its oil in the light of tensions in the Gulf and threats of Iran and the United States.
The sources pointed out that the new Iraqi ambassador, Dr. Ahmed Nayef al-Dulaimi, is currently participating in the preparation of this joint committee through intensive meetings with ministers, most recently Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, to develop a specific framework for the participation of Egyptian companies with their Iraqi counterparts in reconstruction operations And the cooperation in the field of gas networks, electricity and telecommunications, as well as the participation of oil companies in the operation and maintenance of Iraqi facilities.
