When one crap EU car company bought Chrysler and couldn't make a go of it how in merging with another crap EU car company going to make Chrysler and their cars better. Renault has turned Nissan/Lexus into a car that likely will never reach 100,000 miles. One can only assume a merger between Fiat and Renault would tank quality vehicles to a new low.  Jmho.
