He stressed that "the project of connecting with Iraq, which comes within the plan to expand the network of the Gulf electrical link, which is implemented by the Commission in the second half of this year, is a vital and strategic project for the GCC countries, especially that there is a diligent work to develop partnership relations between the GCC countries and Iraq in the areas Economic, political and cultural. "

He pointed out that "the Commission supports these trends through the project of electric linkage with Iraq, so the Commission works on the project in southern Iraq, specifically Basra, which is an extension of the current electrical connection," asserting that "there will be a link from the station in Kuwait to an extension to southern Iraq capacity 400 kV, and the capacity to 1800 MW, which will be reached through ongoing negotiations between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Ministry of Electricity in Iraq, "expected that" Iraq will be provided electric power during the summer of 2020. "

He explained that "the Commission has similar plans to connect with other countries, as last April witnessed a roundtable meeting included a delegation of the Association with representatives from the Indian side, especially that there is great interest in projects linking with Asian countries, particularly India.

He said that "the Gulf Interconnection Authority has received a request to be a member of a special committee to manage the process of electricity linkage and energy markets in Asia," pointing out that "these projects will be implemented during the second half of this year."

Al-Ibraheem continued to "prepare the studies of the electrical connection with Jordan and Egypt to reach Europe, where the studies are still going on between all aspects. In addition, the Commission is now in the process of collecting information for preliminary studies linking with Ethiopia and Yemen, long studies that will take longer "He said.

He stressed that "there is a continuous work to develop the energy trade project between the GCC countries, where there is a major role played by the Interconnection Authority to reach bilateral agreements for the exchange of energy trade during the summer period, as several contracts have been awarded to exchange energy between some Gulf countries, "The demand for energy is expected to increase this year," he said, referring to the "steady increase in the volume of energy trade exchange over the past years."

"The project will provide tens of thousands of new jobs to Iraqis, through the use of local resources, for example, to contribute to the establishment of national infrastructure for the energy sector, which represents the cornerstone of the future of the Iraqi economy."

Siemens has recently announced its plan to build a company specializing in electricity and energy. We have combined traditional energy supplies, oil and gas, network technologies and renewable energies into one specialized company.

Siemens signed three key contracts under Phase I of the road map, including an EPC contract for the construction of a 500 megawatt natural gas power plant in the Zubaidiyah area, with 40 gas turbines being upgraded with reverse cooling systems, contributing to the generation of an additional 700 megawatts During summer peak periods. In addition to the construction of 13 substations with a voltage of 132 kV and 34 transformers throughout Iraq to expand the electricity transmission network in the country. But what does all this mean to Iraqis? To convert what we have just talked about to significant figures, these projects will generate 1,300 megawatts of electricity, which will cover the needs of nearly 360,000 Iraqi households during peak periods in the summer of 2020.

This is only the beginning, as the main energy projects to find a permanent solution to the deficit in the production of electricity in Iraq, part of the agreement to be signed with the Iraqi government in Berlin, which will be negotiated and contracted over the coming period.

A Better Future Waiting for the Iraqi People - The Power of Meeting the Promise
Joe Kaiser is the President and CEO of Siemens AG

If there is anything to be gleaned from the events that Iraq witnessed last April, it is that when we promise to keep our promise always. Yes, more than a year has passed since we presented the Iraqi government with a "roadmap for saving electricity" so that we could sign our first contracts with it. But we have been able to achieve this thanks to the great Iraqi people and their precious confidence in Siemens. Six months ago, the Iraqi people promised that Siemens would like to support Iraq and help it build a bright future. We never give up our commitments, but our promises become stronger and more committed.
The 30th of April in Berlin witnessed the first major steps towards the actual implementation of the roadmap. The Iraqi Ministry of Electricity and Siemens signed an important agreement to implement the plan, which clearly defined the projects to be implemented under that agreement, Timeframes for the implementation stages and all details related to the main elements of the plan for the provision of electricity to Iraq. This comprehensive plan includes the addition of new power generation capabilities, the rehabilitation of existing power plants and the expansion of power transmission and distribution networks. Siemens is ready to start working immediately, and we have actually begun to work on the first phase contracts that were signed that day.

What we have done so far represents the first step, but we are confident that the best is still waiting for Iraq. Our main goal is to provide uninterrupted and affordable power supplies to every Iraqi home and every place within Iraq as one of the most important requirements for sustainable economic and social development in the country. The Iraqi people have been very patient. The country has experienced many crises and difficult times, but the people of Iraq certainly deserve a sense of peace, freedom, security and, of course, a better life for all.

In this context, I want to assure you that we are working to achieve this with all our capabilities and capabilities. This important project is being implemented by the best cadres and teams in Siemens. They have already succeeded in setting up the largest projects in the world, such as the projects that have been completed in Egypt, and they know very well how to deliver projects according to the schedule and budget. Germany is committed to support Iraq, as well as Siemens, so Siemens will cooperate with the German government in providing a number of training and educational programs for Iraqi youth, understanding the future of this great country. We also look forward to achieving tangible progress in implementing the Convention and starting from it to implement the other stages within the framework of the agreed roadmap. Several additional projects need to be implemented in a timely manner in order to provide reliable energy supplies.
As part of our strategy for the future, Siemens recently announced its plan to build a company that specializes in electricity and energy, we have a combination of conventional energy supplies, oil and gas and network technologies and renewable energies in Mt_khassh- one company "Siemens Electric Company." No other company can provide this comprehensive range under one roof. Siemens Corporate will support the entire power unit with its extensive industrial and digital resources, as well as providing financing and guarantees when needed. Through all this, we can serve our customers in a more focused way with priority setting. This, of course, is the case with the Iraqi road map, which is a top priority for Siemens.
So far, Siemens has signed three major contracts in the first phase of the road map, and includes contract engineering, procurement and construction EPC system for a power plant powered by natural gas, 500 MW capacity in the Zubaydiah area, updated with 40 gas turbine reverse cooling systems, which contributes to the generation of An additional 700 MW during summer peak periods. In addition to the construction of 13 substations with a voltage of 132 kV and 34 transformers throughout Iraq to expand the electricity transmission network in the country. But what does all this mean to Iraqis? To convert what we have just talked about to significant figures, these projects will generate 1,300 megawatts of electricity, which will cover the needs of nearly 360,000 Iraqi homes during the summer 2020 peak periods.

I would like to point out that Siemens' global reach and record of business allows it to provide the necessary financial support to the Iraqi government to implement the energy projects embodied in the road map. This simply means that the roadmap proposal is an attractive offer for bank financing because of its economic viability. It also ensures billions of dollars in savings from fuel savings at power stations and huge revenues for the Iraqi electricity sector.
In addition to our energy-saving business in Iraq, Siemens remains committed to its promise to provide a smart healthcare clinic equipped with Siemens medical equipment to provide healthcare services to the Iraqi people. We have already chosen the clinic location in Baiji, where we are moving forward. The clinic will provide health care services to people in liberated areas in Iraq, with the capacity to treat up to 10,000 patients a year. Not only that, but we also pledge a $ 60 million grant to Iraqi universities to provide Iraqi students with the digital skills needed for the future, as well as career training opportunities for more than 1,000 Iraqis.
The Iraqi youth, stability, strong leadership, wealth and natural resources of Iraq are all strong foundations for building a prosperous society and creating a wonderful future for Iraq and its great people. We have already done so in Egypt and other countries in the region, helping countries achieve the desired transformation in the electricity sector and creating local values through job creation and skills development.
We recognize that every nation and society has its own priorities and characteristics that must be respected and fulfilled. For this reason, we have always been aware of our priorities of serving the community and becoming a trusted friend and partner of the local environment. That is exactly what we intend to achieve for the Iraqi people.

Siemens has been an integral part of Iraq's history for the past 80 years and we are now proud of the great role we play in creating a better future for your old country. We are here for you ... for the entire Iraqi people and young people who are hungry for education and employment opportunities. We are here for small and medium enterprises, and for government officials of interest to their people. You can count on us because we believe in the power of promise.

Economy News Baghdad:

The Minister of Electricity, Luay Khatib, that the radical solution to the electricity crisis in Iraq will be next year, pointing out that Iraq needs to import electricity from Iran for a period that may not correspond to the 6 months.

"Our need to temporarily import electricity from Iran may not exceed six months or more, but our gas needs will be for a period of two to three years until the advancement of the Iraqi gas system," he said in an interview with the US "Monitor" .

" We have exclusions from the US regarding gas, electricity and gas. They know our needs and understandings. Exceptions are divided into periods and extendable, and I imagine they will continue because the situation in Iraq is different from that of other countries and we have no alternative."

He pointed out that " when we talk about offers, we talk about the amount of gas and electricity combined Now electricity within the limit of 1100 MW we import from Iran and gas up to 2800 megawatts, and the total amount of up to 4,000 MW. Quantity, speed and price. In addition, we need infrastructure and connectivity with other countries, so our choice is currently available only to Iran. "

"What we have done over the past period has produced an increase in energy, and today we have better than ever before, although it is not ideal but it is better, reaching radical solutions that need major agreements. "Iran is currently receiving the dues of exporting electricity to Iraq in the dinar and euro currencies," Haeri said in a statement to the Fars news agency. "Baghdad paid 50 percent of the total debts in this regard."

Thank You and good Morning Yota , DV......Dinar and Euros. To me this reads as the Dinar being accepted out of country ( Internationally) now ? I have to guess this is extremely huge ..

:twothumbs: I Suspect As You Do THIS Is EXTREMELY HUGE, BlueSkyLine, AND The Very Best Of The Rest Of Your Weekend To You AND Up Coming Week!!! :tiphat:

IF I remember correctly, The True The United States Of America Patriot Secretary Of State Mike Pompeo "encouraged" non Spanction Bicraqi Iraqi Insanian Imports Payments IN Bicraqi Iraqi Dinars AND/OR Euros!!!

Potentially, although OUTSIDE the INTERNATIONALLY accepted SWIFT payment system NOW, the Bicraqi Iraqi Dinars AND Euros WOULD HAVE TO REENTER THE WHIRLED FINANCIAL SYSTEM AT SOME POINT IN THE FUTURE!!!

SO, to pay the Insanians in a "program" "rate" Bicraqi Iraqi Dinar NOW would give the Insanians, to INCLUDE the Insanian IRGC, a HUGE PURCHASING POTENTIAL in the FUTURE with the ReInstated Bicraqi Iraqi Dinar.

Pretty sure The True The United States Of America Patriot Secretary Of State Mike Pompeo KNOWS ALL THIS SO..........................................

Maybe BABY EVEN MORE Good News THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This doesn't sound so good to me (in regards to RV).

If Iraq has already paid Iran 50% of what's due, in Euros and the Dinar "programmed rate", then they've already given Iran a bunch of money that will supposedly be worth a lot more at RV time.  Why would they do that if RV is imminent?

What I was trying to say is that maybe RV is NOT so imminent as we are led to believe,  if Iraq is paying Iran in the programmed rate.

Lots of good news lately makes us feel that they are making so much headway and this may be our time.

RE: Dinar flow into Iran -

I have long wondered about this very topic.  I can't believe that the Insanians don't also know of the Dinar potential.

IMHO, the dinar does NOT move in value until there is some kind of broad, verifiable international solution to the Insanian issue, and/OR...... a major collapse of the current Insanian regime ( replaced by a more acceptable, reasonable version ).

Because maybe Iraq wants to help Iran.
