Recommended Posts

Resign!!  Resign from what??

They haven’t even formed the whole govt

yet to even do anything!

Don't tell me it’s long hours or not enough time off. Don’t tell me it’s to hot 🥵 or that he didn’t get the right camel 🐪 🐫 in his benefits package.

Maybe offer a better parking spot and he’ll stay on and actually accomplish something.  Yikes!!  Unbelievable!!

No Plans to Leave Office: Iraqi PM

 BasNews   11/06/2019 - 22:57  Published in Iraq

ERBIL - Iraqi PM Adil Abdul-Mahdi has made it clear that he has no plans to leave the office, saying that only the Council of Representatives has the authority to remove him from his position and the parliament is not going to do so.

The Iraqi premier made the remarks during his weekly press conference on Thursday where he also revealed that certain political parties are reportedly attempting to impede the process of completing the new Iraqi government as a few ministerial posts are yet to be filled due to political disputes among the parties.

Abdul-Mahdi, however, did not clearly accuse any sides, but pointed out that he has been close to completing his cabinet despite the obstacles being put in his way.

He further refuted the rumors that he had any plans to leave the office, considering the claims as "far from the truth".
