Nothing Normal goes on over there - If you're a fan of Mel Brooks " Young Frankenstein " you'll recall when Igor is sent out to retrieve a brain for the Doctors creation, he comes back with a Brain that has been labeled ( after Igor drops his 1st selection on the floor ) ABNORMAL . . . which later he reveals to the Doctor after the " Monster "   initially exhibits peculiar reactions; when asked what was the name on the label ? Igor's reply " Abbey, something " Abbey Normal, yeah thats it " ( I paraphrase the scene as I do not recall the exact dialogue ).

Called the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan Karim Kaabi to make the necessary amendments proposed to the law of public retirement, which contributes to lift the injustice and fairness of the retirees, and stressed that the Kaabi must provide all necessary facilities related to the salaries of the families of the martyrs, came during his chair on Sunday, In the presence of the President of the General Retirement Authority Ahmad Saadi.
Al-Kaabi stressed during the meeting that all necessary facilities related to the salaries of the families of the martyrs should be provided. The proposed amendments to the general pension law were also discussed, which will contribute to lifting the injustice on this sector, which has provided great service to this country. The meeting also discussed the issue of end of service benefits for former army employees, which were included in the budget of 2019 and the mechanism of disbursement and its beneficiaries.
Al-Kaabi expressed his support for the work of the Pension Authority and to contribute to solving the problems that arise in its work and to improve the work of its government departments to serve the citizens of the country, pointing out that additional work hours should be allocated to listen to the complaints of the auditors and deal with them.
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Bashir Haddad also presided over the meeting held by the Parliamentary Finance Committee with the Chairman of the Retirement and Advanced Staff
Commission.
According to a statement by Haddad's office, the meeting reviewed the reality of the Commission and the suffering experienced by the retirees and the mechanism of disbursement of their financial dues, as well as discussing ways to develop the work mechanisms of the Pension Authority according to modern programs and available means.
He referred to the need to alleviate the suffering of those retirees who served the country for many years, and at a time when the efforts of the Commission and its cadres in providing services to citizens; he stressed the need to pay attention to the retired and care to the extent possible, and urged the Presidency of the Commission And workers to do more to serve the citizens.
Haddad announced the readiness of the House of Representatives to provide the necessary support in order to improve the Authority through the legislation and laws to receive daily hundreds of reviewers, and stressed the completion of transactions accumulated citizens as soon as possible and end their suffering in all areas of service and social.

The parliamentary Investment and Economy Committee decided on Sunday to form a specialized subcommittee to monitor the Ministry of Commerce and Contracts, which concluded to import the card items and to verify continuously their prices match with the international prices of similar materials, confirming that it will start its work next week.
A member of the committee responsible for monitoring the file of the Ministry of Commerce Nofal Nashi, said in a press statement that "the continued lack of processing the ration card items form a chronic crisis has left its harmful effects on the poor and low-income for many years."
He added that "the committee will begin its work during the next week to review the reports of the Office of Financial Supervision and observations on the work of the Ministry to diagnose and identify the imbalance by obtaining realistic perceptions of the operations of the management card
