BAGHDAD - Mawazine News
revealed the Legal Committee in the House of Representatives, on Saturday, a number of flaws in the Federal Court's law to prevent voting on it in its current form.
"The existence of a political dispute over the draft law of the Federal Court prevents the passage of it," said the deputy of the committee, the well-being of Aridi, according to the semi-official newspaper "Al-Sabah".
She pointed out that "the law put forward by the Committee to discuss the proposals brought by the Federal Court to the House of Representatives," noting that "the law has a lot of flaws and can not vote on it in its current form."
"The main flaws are that the president of the court itself is the head of the judicial system in general, and this violates the judiciary and contradicts with the provisions of the Constitution, in addition to the length of the member of the Federal Court is 12 years, which is very long, as most members of the court aged between 80 or 90 years, and the law granted the President of the Court to extend for another two years after the completion of the 12 years of the member of the Court and this is contrary to the law.
In turn, member of the committee Hussein al-Aqabi said that "a serious and in-depth dialogue is taking place and the experts' opinions are being sought to observe the shortcomings and negative points that have plagued the court's work over the past years."
"The committee intends to correct the Iraqi constitutional experiment in the new law to be a strategic and whatever a safety valve for the democratic process," he said. "The committee needs to open up to all national competencies concerned with such legislation and assess our past experience to come out with a law that meets ambition."

Interesting, I have a question Master Yota, is this news source a reliable source or one with questionable ties to Iran?

I know they will never tell us, but how much of a raise and when is the next phase?  I like the way it sounds.  I'm guessing a raise of 500 (590 dinar to a dollar) wouldn't be what they want.  It would still be a raise though.   So many questions and possibilities.  Those are good things in my opinion.

Two questions I have on this statement..

When would be the next phase?

They will not follow traditional methods to make these changes...  Is that because he knows traditional methods in Iraq are usually unproductive?

How come, all of a sudden, they are announcing this?  I thought the raising of the exchange rate was supposed to be a big secret and happen without warning.

I agree.

Just thinking, since they're telling us this is gonna happen, I could have invested now instead of 10 years ago.  😂

It is a good way to get people to buy more of their dinar. So if they are getting on the loud speaker saying ( come on in and purchase our dinar because we will increase the value)  I figure it's not going to happen.  But hey Thank you Iraq for giving me the chance to profit off your money.  ( someday soon )

Well..... a wee bit off topic but my gut feeling is that something is gonna happen before the end of the summer. I can't say for definite what it is but it is going to move. Taking into account all the positive news over the past 3-4 days, and yeah I know it is Iraq so what they actually say and do can be very different I still feel it in my gut that this is gonna move. I want this to happen as much as anybody but I still feel before summers end.

Now anyone who has been here a llllloooonnnnggggg time might recall that my crystal in the past predicted the specific day that a piano would be delivered to a member of this forum. ?  Well my crystal says I will be out of nursing by the end of October this year. It has also predicted that the law will pass on Thursday and that there will be movement within 4 weeks. Please be advised that I do not always take the answers seriously and I do bnot live by what it predicts but it might just be right. We wait and see.
