MP for Basra Faleh al-Khazali, on Saturday, damaged 40 thousand acres due to rain and floods in the province. 
"40 thousand acres of agricultural land in Basra has been damaged as a result of the recent rains and floods," Khazali told a news conference held in the House of Representatives and attended by Moazin News.

(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The House of Representatives in its 16th session held under the chairmanship of Hassan Karim al-Kaabi, the first deputy chairman of the Council, after the end of the 15th session, on Saturday, with the presence of 196 deputies, voted on the traffic law and ended reading a report and discussing two laws.

At the beginning of the meeting, the First Vice-President of the Council stressed the need to stand up to the excesses that affected the Eminence of Mr. Moqtada al-Sadr by the Bahraini parliament, pointing out that the national symbols of Iraq is the focus of respect and appreciation, calling the presidency of the Republic and ministers to convene an emergency to curb inappropriate behavior of MPs in Bahrain.
Al-Kaabi also called on the parliamentary committee to investigate the fire of the homeless shelter in Adhamiya to clarify the results of the investigation.
The first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives to host the ministers of trade, finance and agriculture in the House of Representatives to follow up the issue of delayed payment of financial dues to farmers.
The Presidency of the Council decided to postpone the draft law amending the Companies Law No. (21) of 1997 submitted by the committees of economy, investment, culture, media, tourism and relics.
The Council then proceeded to vote on the draft traffic law submitted by the Security and Defense Committee for the purpose of regulating the traffic rules of the vehicles, identifying the parties responsible for registering them, determining the conditions of safety and security, specifying the conditions for granting the market license, determining their categories, reviewing the penalties and fines imposed on violation of traffic law provisions, The violation and the economic reality and determine the parties that have the power to impose the fine.
The Council completed the reading of a report and discussion of the draft law on appeal in favor of the law in the provisions and decisions concerning real estate submitted by the committees of law, agriculture, water and marshes, finance, labor and social affairs, and migration and displaced.
The deputies' interventions focused on the importance of continuing the meetings with the concerned authorities and the legal specialists to prepare the law and speed up its legislation during the current session.
In its response to the interventions of the deputies, the Committee stressed the taking into account the observations of deputies and blocs and parliamentary committees to include in the draft law before being submitted to the vote.
The Council completed the reading of the report and discussion of the draft law of the first amendment to the law of the civil presses No. 5 of 1999 and submitted by the committees of culture, information, tourism, archeology, security and defense.
The MPs' interventions focused on the necessity of determining the degree of the printing press based on the quality of the equipment and that a 90-day period be given to the non-authorized printers for the license, provided that the validity period of the license is 3 years.
In its response to the interventions, the committee stressed its readiness to receive the proposals of deputies and parliamentary blocs to prepare the draft law.
On the other hand, the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives financial and strategic planning committees to host the ministers of trade and finance to discuss the ration card file and improve its vocabulary.
Then it was decided to adjourn the meeting on Sunday 5/5/2019

Wheresmyrv, the parliament is ongoing during ramadan. We may get the vote on FML this month while the parliament remains open for more meetings. Who knows? Maybe tomorrow? Parliament is adjourn til tomorrow...We will see. Cheers.

hasty exit out of the city, for another long deserved break. Now expect during May they will send
