Iraqi President Barham Salih received the ambassadors of Britain, Germany and France in Baghdad.

Saleh stressed Iraq's keenness to establish balanced relations of cooperation with its neighbors, brothers and friends and to enhance security, stability and economic prosperity in the region and the world, adding that our dialogues with neighboring countries and Arab, regional and European countries are in this direction. For their part, the ambassadors of the European countries expressed their satisfaction with the development of relations with Iraq and the efforts of their countries to consolidate and increase cooperation. They also praised the balanced foreign policy of Iraq and the role played by it in its Arab and regional environment and reiterated their desire to contribute to the reconstruction of Iraq. And the importance of defusing it.

President Saleh stressed during his meeting on Thursday, British Ambassador John Wolks and the Chargé d'affaires of the German Embassies Jochen Muller and French Ambassador Jean-Noel Bonnieux, according to a statement received by "Alnour News", "the need to address crises and tensions in the region by adopting constructive dialogue between the parties concerned," He explained that "the orientations of Iraq is based on moving away from the policy of axes and commitment to higher national interests, and the prevalence of participants over differences."

The President of the Republic, to "the importance of strengthening relations with European countries, and the desire for cooperation and coordination to serve common interests," and appreciated the "efforts of the European Union in supporting the Iraqi people in various fields."
