He went on: It is no longer surprising that members of the Shiite, Sunni and Kurdish blocs are rushing to join the victory, withdrawing from their blocs, after discovering the credibility of victory, and seriousness in the national project away from the rhetoric that hides around a lot of political blocs.

He went on to say: The victory of plots and attempts to exclude, after disturbing the national project, many of the competing forces behind the positions, and privileges, which is revealed in the recent period, and resulted in a significant delay in forming the government.

"Some political forces have put down the victory in 18 provinces with clear public support. Some have conspired against it. The plot succeeded in pushing some MPs to withdraw from it, but now they are back, feeling that victory is the best of the national project.

He went on: the reform alliance, which was originally founded to strengthen the largest bloc, which was deliberately dissolved despite the constitutional entitlement, and today it adopts the national project of victory.

The defeat of issis was brought about by many sects working together

nobody knows this better than Abadi. He was surprised when these people

didn't come together and want to rebuild the country. Maybe his message is

now being heard. Let's hope Abadi wins out and gets things moving right after

Ramadon.

Happy Easter but let's not forget that Abadi is no savior. he had plenty of chances to clean things up mainly corruption. As it turned we found out that he was just as corrupt As the rest...

Let's not also forget that Abadi lived in London for 30 years and is more modern and "western" than "middle eastern".

I never read anything about him being corrupt, like the rest.

This is the guy that should have been re-elected.  Let's hope the people finally wise up!

That's right.  I do remember that now.

However, I do believe that everyone that goes into politics becomes rich overnight.  

Look what's going on in our own country.  They're all crooks here, too.

The Dems are "for" illegal immigration, but they all have walls around their own houses.

 

Maybe, had I known this years ago (that politics was a stepping stone to great wealth) I would have gone into politics myself.  LOL

However, I'm still of the opinion that Abadi would have been the best Prime Minister and if it wasn't for Sadr, Abadi would have been re-elected.  Don't forget, Abadi speaks English and was friendly with Trump.  He came to Washington.  I think these things go a long way.

This guy, Mahdi, has yet to make a visit to the U.S.  What's he waiting for?  (At least Halabousi did go to Washington.)

 

Oh well, things are looking up for the Dinar.  Hopefully, something good will happen soon.  😀

Iraq's President Barham Salih affirmed, during his meeting on Sunday with Nasr Alliance leader Haidar al-Abadi, the need to consolidate efforts, abandon disputes, and prioritize the national interest.

 

Nasr (Victory) Alliance is an Islamist Iraqi political alliance that was founded in December 2017 by Abadi.

During their meeting in Iraqi Green Zone's Al-Salam Palace, Salih and Abadi, who served as the Iraq's prime minister right before current Adil Abd al-Mahdi, discussed the latest developments in the country's political situation, a statement by Salih's office read.

They stressed that renouncing disputes and prioritizing the national interest will enhance security and stability in the country and help provide the best services to the Iraqi people of all components.
