You missed the entire point of this thread...if temperatures have been shown to be 2° warmer in past geological historical times, what does it matter that the Earth's temperatures have risen an average of 0.1° over the last 150 years? 

 

If the Earth's temperature was warmer than it is now, and Man-made gases have only been affecting the Earth's temperature since the start of the Industrial Age (~200 years), then what caused the Earth's temperature to spike in the past. Animals farting?

By my calculations, we are 5 years past this prediction, which was made in 2007.

 

The amount of credence and authority that is given to these Environmental Doomsday Quacks by the brain-washed masses leads me to believe that the cult is strong and well. And yet they say religious people are fanatics...this Global Warming/Climate Change Cult is a religion with plenty of enthusiastic fanatics!
