Al-Hamdani pointed out that "such new directions for joint cooperation with high convictions, come to fruition and achieve the great benefit to the country and its economy, where Iraq can be the starting point of trade between the countries of the world in the East and West, and this is not impossible, but can transfer the national economy to A better stage and makes it in contact with major global economies, which are aware of the size of Iraq economically at the world level. " 
Thamer al-Azzawi told Al-Sabah: "What resulted from the prime minister's visit to Riyadh is a new era of cooperation between the two countries."
"The agreements and memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries will pave the way between Baghdad and Riyadh," he said, adding that "the results of these agreements and memoranda will be reached by the two peoples soon, especially with regard to economic cooperation, which will witness unprecedented prosperity."
The agreements and memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries during the visit included: a memorandum of understanding in the field of political consultations, an agreement on the mutual recognition of product conformity certificate, an investment promotion and protection agreement, a memorandum of understanding in the field of agricultural cooperation, In the field of oil and gas, a memorandum of understanding in the field of electric energy, and a memorandum of understanding in the field of scientific and educational cooperation between the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Iraq, a memorandum of understanding on a program of cultural cooperation, An understanding between the Saudi Ministry of Education and the Iraqi Ministry of Education, a memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation program, a memorandum of understanding to study the feasibility of electric linkage, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the maritime field and a memorandum to regulate passenger and road transport operations. 
The expert said that "delegations from the two countries will start reciprocal visits to activate these agreements and memos." He pointed out that "benefiting from them will be in various fields, especially that Iraq has signed similar agreements with the neighbors Iran and Jordan, in addition to important agreements with Syria, Others with Turkey, and perhaps Kuwait as well. "
He denied the expert affected the industrial and agricultural sectors in these agreements, because the government has put items to keep away any negative effects on the Iraqi economy, stressing that these agreements will contribute to the movement of all sectors, not the other way around, especially that the Iraqi market will be open to goods and crops, In return for the export of what is manufactured and grown at home, meaning that the goods and the Iraqi crop will be found in these countries soon, and will compete with what these countries import from the origins of the lowest quality compared to the national product.
Al-Azzawi also praised the opening of the first branch of the Iraqi Bank for Foreign Trade in Riyadh, which coincided with the visit of the Prime Minister to Saudi Arabia, which returned the step "a good opening" for financial cooperation between the two countries, especially that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a huge stock of hard currency.
"Iraq is a big kiss for major international companies in the coming period, and the start of cooperation with the regional neighborhood achieves major economic gains, as it can create bilateral partnerships with Saudi companies and other neighboring countries, leading to major international companies and being a center. The Secretary General of the Saudi Export Development Authority Salih al-Salami revealed on Tuesday that the Saudi exports to Iraq increased significantly during the year, pointing out that the value of the Kingdom's non-oil exports to Iraq during the year 2018 amounted to 4.2 billion Saudi riyals with growth of 40% compared to 2017. 
"The value of the Kingdom's non-oil exports to Iraq during the year 2018 amounted to 4.2 billion Saudi riyals with a 40 percent growth compared to 2017," Al-Salami said at the opening of the Saudi pavilion at the Erbil International Building Fair. 
He added that "the food sector ranked first in the Saudi exports to Iraq worth 662 million Saudi riyals, followed by the construction materials sector with an export value of 565 million riyals, and over the past five years, Saudi non-oil exports to Iraq worth 10 billion riyals."
Al-Salami explained that "the participation of the Authority in the exhibition comes within the framework of efforts to support the Saudi source, promote Saudi products and services, enhance their presence and raise their competitiveness in the international and regional markets, in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and its objectives to increase non-oil exports from 16% to 50% Gross Domestic Product Value ".

Mubasher: The Ministry of Industry and Minerals of Iraq, on Tuesday, invited foreign businessmen to exploit investment opportunities after the establishment of the appropriate ground for them.

The ministry said, according to the Iraqi news agency "conscious", that the memorandum of understanding signed with Saudi Arabia included investment in the petrochemicals, iron and extractive minerals.

The Minister of Industry and Minerals said that the ministry has signed a joint industrial memorandum of understanding with Saudi Arabia, including the operation of several factories.

Saleh Al Jubouri added that the memorandum will soon be published, and that the Saudi side will invest in a number of strategic projects in Iraq, in addition to partnership in the manufacturing and extractive industries.

The minister called on foreign investors to visit the ministry's website and learn about investment opportunities. 

Jubouri pointed out that it is hoped that the coming months will witness the start of implementation of what has been agreed between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, and with the participation of the public and private sectors, which will contribute to improving the quality of production, according to ministry spokesman Abdul Wahid Alwan.

Alwan said that the investor needs to legislate a law that supports his capital, which he brings to Iraq. He pointed out that what was put forward for investment with the Saudi side concerns petrochemicals, iron and steel industry, and mineral extraction industries. 

It is noteworthy that more than 100 industrial investment opportunities offered by Iraq on the Saudi side during the visits between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
