Wait until you become wealthy and people start accusing you of things.  Instead of going through the legal process, you would pay them off because in the longer run it would be cheaper and less time consuming for you.

It doesn't matter... I would not pay somewhere over $100,000 to someone for something I didn't do. I'd rather give that money to a lawyer to prove them wrong. I'm not going to admit guilt for something I didn't do.

Evil works because people want to believe things that are too good to be true. People fall for false statements because evil knows what buttons to push. You have people shouting for socialism, New Green Deal, and higher taxing of the rich. I think those ideas excite part of the masses. Are the people who favor those falling for evil?

 

Let's be realistic, anyone trying to get elected or re-elected will say anything to excite the masses and get votes.  They are not all evil, just liars.   They're called what?  All together now.......................................Politicians!

 

I'm not a religious person by any mean.  But I don't think God or Satan involve themselves in every bad or good scenario hear on earth.  It's just humans being humans.  Some are really good and some are just plain crap!

Interesting how you pointed out Trump only when there are many examples on both side of the isles, such as Obama - our insurance premium will never go up or you will keep your doctor.  I can see your biases. However, I do agree on your premise.

I'm sure Bostonangler knows that.  I sometimes think people get so wrapped up in the minute thing said or not said and see way too much bias in it.  Or could it be that people hate to say anything based about their party or elected official because they might be seen as saying they made a mistake voting for them.

 

I'm a Trump supporter and I'll be the first to say he does shoot his mouth off way to much.  That is, compared to other presidents.  Sometimes it's funny and sometimes it is just plain arrogant and annoying.  But I never forget that he has the same rights as everyone of us and can say what he wants when he wants.  He is a person elected by the people for the people.  No person is or will ever be perfect.  I voted for him because of his ideas and attitude towards many issues.  But I would be a fool to think he could deliver on everything he promised.  He has made mistakes and will continue to make mistakes.  As has every president that has held the office and will hold the office.  What they have done in their private lives is of no concern to me as long as it doesn't affect the nation security or financial well being,  From Trumps hooker, Obamas supposed weed smoking to Clintons intern bedding, I don't give a damn because it was only brought to us by the media to create division among the people. You can say it effects the country financial and security well being  but really, IMO, it doesn't.  Other country leaders are not phased by such little trivial occurrences such as those.  When you are leader of a country and on the world political stage those things are only meaningless blips in the political radar.  

 

Kind of went off the rails there.  I just see this kind of stuff on so many different threads that I just wanted to say something.  Discussions go way off track because of some so called bias in a statement or religious quote.  It sets a lot of people off.  It's ok to be a Jackass or a big ugly elephant, To believe or not believe in God is alright too.  Just don't take everything so personal.

 

It's just life and you never get out alive!
