Following the Mawazin News,
the Islamic Republic of Iran stopped the export of two types of products to Iraq and traders resort to other countries to secure those products to markets.
Ata Mohammed, representative of Kerwa Alwa Sulaymaniyah, said Iran would officially stop the export of potatoes and onions to Iraq from April 5 because of the high price of the two crops.
"Because of this, the price of Iranian potatoes has risen from 400 dinars to 550 dinars and Pakistani potatoes from 400 to 600 dinars," he said.
On the other hand, the representative of Karab Alwa Sulaymaniyah said that the only alternative is Pakistan. These crops have a large demand and led to higher prices in Pakistan. Also during the coming week, the Indian onion will be exported to Sulaymaniyah and its quantity will be more than 300 tons. Merchants. The onion will also be introduced into Uzbekistan.
