Baghdad

President Barham Saleh called for balanced relations with Washington and Tehran and refused to take Iraq as a base for aggression against other countries.

Saleh said in an interview with the Washington Post that "Iraq is defined in the minds of the Americans chaos and endless wars," pointing out that "Iraq is democratic and citizens are voting and must respond to the leaders of their demands."

"I think there are some possibilities for this country to move in the right direction, but the legacy of the past and the problems are really huge," Saleh said.

"I am optimistic about the future of Iraq," he said. "Every time I get out of the presidential palace in Baghdad, I try to get out as much as possible. I see normal life returning more and more." We stick to it. "

He praised the President of the Republic for "the role of religious reference and support for the continuation of democratic institutions in the country, as well as being the anchor of Iraqi patriotism."

From what I have been watching in Iraq these days, either the Pres is stuck back on chapter 3 of this book... or playing the part of ignorant politcian trying to engage and distract the Iraqi population through their Fake News Network.!

"Squirrel !!!!! "(Americans)... That bone head will never promote the fact Americans are rooting for them on so many levels it's stupid at this point.
