Abadi: They are coming at a crossroads between the state and the control of elements on the country's capabilities

Political | 04:37 - 23/03/2019

BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
Iraq is at a crossroads between the state and its institutions and the control and influence of the country's resources and the monopolization of public money, the leader of the Al-Nasr coalition said on Saturday, noting that Mosul, which suffered the scourge of terrorism, needs a pause after it was liberated. .
"Iraq has achieved victory over terrorism militarily and we have warned that terrorism and its ideology must continue to be fought in the cultural, educational, intellectual and other fields," he said in his speech during the second Arab-African Forum on Combating Terrorism and Extremism held in Baghdad and his follow-up. Equity encourages the emergence of these deviant ideas. "
He added that "terrorism and intimidation threatened the whole world and we achieved victory in Iraq after the whole world was convinced that this alleged state is difficult to remove, but the will of the Iraqis and the advisory opinion of the religious authority and unite them and restore the prestige of our forces and arrange their situation and put the military and security leaders in the right place achieved victory" .
"The destructive ideology of terrorism needs more work to eliminate it and we have put in the previous government an integrated vision to help the youth in the region to be affected by it and put this vision on the leaders of countries and received a great welcome and we wish the current government to continue."
"The importance of continuing the efforts of the international community in fighting terrorism and tracking the money and terrorist elements and continue more because terrorism and its deviant ideas are growing in societies in Asia, Africa, Europe, America and others," he said.
Abadi said, "We are coming at a crossroads between the state and its institutions, and between the control and influence of the parties on the country's resources and the monopolization of public funds.

Good day Sir,

The Central Bank's annual report on foreign reserves showed positive performance in 2018
compared to 2017.
"Foreign reserves grew by 32.6 percent, driven mainly by the positive difference between the Bank's purchases of dollars from the Ministry of Finance and its sales through the foreign currency sale window, as well as the profits from portfolio revenues," a source at the bank said in a statement. Investment in various segments."

We all know the CBI is on charge of monetary policy.

The foreign currency reserves are growing $62.5 billion dollars
The gold reserves are growing 96.5 Tons
The inflation is under control at +/-2%
The CBI continues making money through the foreign currency sale window
The economy is improving at the actual rate of 1190 dinar per dollar

Personally, I don’t see any rush or pressure to RV. Can you give me a valid
reason why they needto RV?
——————————————————————————————————————————————————-

“The Ministry of Planning announced on Saturday the formation of the Supreme Commission
for the General Population and Housing Census, which is expected to be held in Iraq in the
fourth quarter of next year 2020”.

We all know the importance and implications of the Census for
- HCL and Art 140 Profit sharing

- to make planning decisions.

- to forecast the possible economic need

- to formulate economic policy

- to calculate population density

- to determine taxable adults

- to resources distribution

Do we have to wait for the census before an increase of the dinar exchange rate (RV)?

Thanks In advance.!
