BAGHDAD, Iraq -

A member of the government program evaluation and strategic planning committee, Anam Khuzai, on Saturday criticized the government program and the actual performance of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, while considered that "the priorities of the government without priorities." "Every economic situation has priorities, and Iraq needs to develop the industrial sector to absorb unemployed labor," Khuzai said in a statement. "But it is surprising that setting priorities in the government program goes against urgent economic priorities." Khuzaie explained that "the development of the agricultural sector came as a second priority, while the promotion of the national industry in the fourth priority within the fourth pillar to strengthen the economy," indicating that "This has been clear when less than 1% allocated to these sectors as investment expenditures of the Iraqi state budget "He said.

Khuzai said that "this action is necessary, as it contradicts the economic program itself, which came to raise the principle of making in Iraq and reduce imports," noting that "this program is a repetition of the previous program based on the amplification of ambitions and weak achievement." Khuzaie wondered: "Will the prime minister only complete part of the projects as follow-up form, or does he have a real and realistic national rescue plan for the Iraqi economy contribute to diversify the economy and absorb unemployment?", Saying that "the priorities of the government without priorities."

"the priorities of the government without priorities."

"But it is surprising that setting priorities in the government program goes against urgent economic"

There you go .... This is why I believe our wait for the RV will take longer.

As long as the ruling class is making a lot of money, Is all good. They don't

care about the common citizen.

Laid Back I agree...those bastards dont care about their people or their currency because they are already paid! I have a bad feeling about Mahdi I believe he is in Iran"s pocket..it is happening all over again....how are they getting away this...

GD07,  Thanks for your input my friend.

Corruption is the answer.... They want to continue stealing money from the national treasury... If their corruption is exposed by the integrity commission, they are

threatening the GOI  to create chaos in the country.

Go integrity commission

Go Justice

Go punishment

LB gets it.

Every macro structure paints the economic and political picture.

You think Iraqi's bean counters are going to give corrupt Iranians more money by revaluing an exotic currency without proper infrastructure?

The good news is that the US doesn't care what they do as long Iraq doesn't stray outside their current path which might interfere with US objectives for the region.

So many people keep trying to tie the RV to a specific event like removing Iran's influence, safety and security, fully seated cabinet, all laws being passed, etc. The truth is it's all about the money and keeping an important geopolitical chess piece in the game. The US doesn't give a rats booty about the people of Iraq or the ME.

You almost can't believe anything coming out from the propagandized media in Iraq as they move closer to currency reform. Our deal has been ready on and off for years, and the banking situation is complete... but "gurus" need to find yet another something that needs to get done so people will keep listening.

This thing is hot, hot, hot right now and doesn't need anything else to happen in Iraq. What we needed is already in motion and we are just waiting for the moment it drops in.

This might be the most misinformed bloated post I've ever read here.

If it's all about money, where's his factual M2 info? His macro info...hell, even his knowledge of markets and the way they work?

Guess what?

He doesn't have any.

Get back to this post in a year to see what's "hot" and what's utter BS.

You'll be glad you did.

Stay grounded.

Thanks for your input justchecking123,

I believe they need infrastructure in place to bring investment , to develop private sector to promote economic growth.
