Banks Economy News Baghdad: The governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Ali Alaak, the lifting of guardianship of the United Bank for investment after it was imposed on him at the end of last December. Alaq said in a letter addressed to licensed banks operating in Iraq, and was briefed by "Economy News", "it was decided to lift the guardianship of the United Investment Bank as of March 5 present."

Love your optimism but I just don't see anything until they get those seats filled and they are able to somewhat control the corruption. I realize they will never stop it completely. This is Iraq after all. I want this just as much as you all do, but I feel there is still to many hurdles to climb yet for us to see it this month. I hope I'm very wrong!

Guardianship is usually put in place by  order of a court or an authority because someone is considered incapable of effectively conducting affairs that pertain to them.. It can also be lifted or removed by the court or authority that put the  identity under guardianship at the time they can prove their capability to conduct their own affairs..

       What year? Around 10 years ago,several  innerweb xe companies announced that the iqd had rv'd,  parred to the euro at that time {$1.29 ?} Turned out that all of them were owned by the same concern . It appeared to be a done deal . I was over served with champagne ,took a picture of my dog buried in dinar . It sure was fun while it lasted .
