what does "elite" mean.?  The elite to me is the power hungry bastards that want to control OUR COUNTRY,  it's  not about the rich man that has earned every red cent he has poured red blood, sweat and tears but the SOB'S in Washington that continue to cause chaos  and try to take control of every move that the hard working man slaves to afford his precious family.  We are caught up in a battle, it's  almost damn if you do, damn if you don't.  Both sides of our Republic are SOB's.  They all thrive to make them selves rich and to reach a power that will and cannot be controlled by "we the people".. the sons of bit*Ches can all rot in hell.  They have been elected to make America great again, to bring peace, to be for us, to bring a freedom and prosperity, but "NO" they bring hate and disruption.  I hate the path that I see coming.  I hate the path that I see for my grandson in this fallen world.  These SOB'S  will rot in hell.

You pretty much hit the Nail on the Head....The Elites are those Power Hungry Greedy Bastards and pelosi Types in the D.C. Swamp that feel they have the Power to Control every aspect of life.....Your Life, My Life and every life they feel is one of their servants....Rand Paul is right up there with the best of them.

None of them have a clue just how close they are to touching off the Tinder Keg nor do they care and I have a feeling the day really mess things up will be the day their security, D.C. Police, Police across the Country are going to be calling in sick, quit or flat out resign.  Military from all Branches will question all orders be be Lawful or Not and where they came from.

That will be the 2nd Independence Day for our Country....The Day We The People Took Our Country Back from a Corrupt Group of Well Established, Millionaire Elites AKA Politicians.

Actually Patrick I have felt pretty guilty about the language and anger that I used and felt to express myself here.  It would seem that  I still get carried away sometimes with the "wordly" instead of looking up, but I like to call this a righteous anger (still i know it's wrong in His eyes)   In heaven the #1 thing will be looking upon our Saviour, worshipping anf glorifying Him forever.  #2 for me will be "no more sin" which I seem to accomplish quite well on a daily bases....heaven looks better and better every day........come Lord Jesus, come

Good to see and hear from you

Nice post DVM... That's what I keep telling all these people who are bragging about their stockpiles of weapons and ammo... The government isn't worried about protesters and their signs. They are monitoring those who are talking about revolution. The self-proclaimed patriots are the ones who are going to get a knock at their door. And regardless of how many rounds of ammo someone has, they ain't going to beat our military... Ruby Ridge was nothing compared to what's waiting for anyone who raises arms... JMHO

That's why a surgical, atypical, guerrilla type of fight would need to be fought.  Small, coordinated and unexpected attack against  key figures and offices.  Do not take the military or police head on. It is much easier to plan, train and arm small groups that have the ability to move quietly and have no need for massive communications that can be picked up by other entities.  That's why Special Forces, Delta and Seal are effective.  They take smaller, more important objectives that attack the head of governments and infrastructures.  The ability to perform cyber attacks will also be invaluable to any uprising by the people.  JMO

I think if "citizens" threaten the government, yes they will round them up or mow them down. I don't believe anyone sworn to protect America is going to allow an uprising... JMHO

Ouch!  That hurts. Haha.  Small unit tactics have been around forever.  In a conventional war small units go behind the enemy line to disrupt supply lines to the front line.  Stopping food, bullets and medical severely hampers a war effort.  But again they are small units.  ISIS and Bin Laden used it because it works. It's easier to face and defeat your enemy if you know their tactics and can plan and react accordingly.  Adapting and being fluid is one key to fighting any war.

I hope to never see it happen here but the world is a crazy place.

I personally think there will some dissension in the ranks at all levels.  Even soldiers, Marines and airmen have political views that may sway them to support the other side.  Just because the civilians rise up doesn't make them wrong.  At some point in time if the elected officials that we put in office continue to fail to work for the betterment of the people of the United States then an uprising may occur.  The people will only be ignored, lied too and cheated so much before the slate is wiped clean and the next elected officials are reminded what they are there for.

It's a cycle that will happen over and over.  As history is forgotten it may be doomed to repeat itself.

Just saying.  Haha

Yup, those tactics are very successful. And like you I hope to never see America become a place of civil war. That's why people need to learn compromise and learn to forget listening to politicians... They are out to divide and conquer... And when people believe their crap they (the politicians) win... America is great because of it's diversity and it's ability not to be like other nations... But people are falling for the scare tactics and building walls... We as a nation need to remember our similarities and forget our differences. JMHO

@bostonanglerLook at you showing off your foreign language skill!  Compromise!  I think that word was last seen in the Dead Sea scrolls!  Our government hasn't done that in quite awhile.  Compromising is seen as an equivalent to losing, being weak and giving into the other sides demands.  The funny part is, that we the people, are the ones who scream like crazy when we think that is what happened.  Then what do our elected officials do?  They stop "compromising" because they don't want to viewed as weak and ineffective.  They want to get re-elected obviously.

So we, the people, say they are weak for compromising.  They stop compromising so as to not be viewed as weak and get re-elected. Nothing gets done for the betterment for the people of the United States.  Then the people talk about a revolution to start over again.

Hmmm.  Sounds a little jenky.  Obviously we are being fed crap from all over the media spectrum to feel this way about compromise.  Doesn't really help the cause except for those who only care about themselves and lining their own pockets with money and ensuring their own successful future.

I could go on all day with this crap.  The funny part is that both sides, Democrats and Republicans, need each other as a form of keeping each other in check.  But each side just wants to reign supreme.  Crazy, right?

This is the part where the "constitutionalists" jump in and say it's quite simple, stick to the document penned by our founders, no compromise, but fail to recognize the U.S. Constitution as a living document, i.e. "amendments" being the very result and proof of such life.....These people do indeed view compromise as a losing bet....therefore we are destined to fail.  As always, just my opinion.

BA, I couldn't agree with you more here except for the "falling for the scare tactics and building walls". The socialist agenda being pushed by the left does not belong here in America. That will lead us down the road to being a Venezuela and I do not want that. Building walls is a matter of National Security now. With the 10 to 14 million illegals here in our country, it is putting a burden on all parts of our society. I am all for diversity and people coming here for the American Dream and way of life, but do it legally and the right way. Don't sneak into my country illegally and then expect me as a tax payer to fund you for being here. That is what is happening and has been happening and "We the People" are fed up with it and have had enough.

Like you, I do not want to see a civil war take place in this country ever again, but to protect the American way of life that our Founding Fathers saw and to stop this socialist/communist take over that's being pushed by elected representatives, then it may happen when "We the People" have had enough of them too. Only 30% of the population really wanted to revolt against the British in the 1770's. Look at what that got us, a Great and Wonderful new Free Nation. Now, we have 40-50% of the population that want to set this country back on the right track. What will that get us? Only one knows the answer to that, and I pray that GOD lets this country stay on the righteous path.

I agree with that too. I am for a change. No more elections. Those that are qualified to serve as an elected official, according to the Constitution, their name goes into a pot. One name is randomly drawn and it is that persons duty to serve the next 2 or 6 years, depending on office. You will be accountable to those in your district or state. No party ties, No re-election, no lobbying, no free healthcare for life, no free perks, you do your term for your country, then someone else steps up when your term is over.

https://www.law.uchicago.edu/news/living-constitution

A living Constitution is one that evolves, changes over time, and adapts to new circumstances, without being formally amended. ...( As done from the judicial bench)

Our written Constitution, the document under glass in the National Archives, was adopted 220 years ago.

It can be amended, but the amendment process is very difficult.

Red is from me.

So yes. Let us use it to decide what gets done and how, not from the bench or Congress. Their job is to follow it, not guess at what it means.
