Shabibilicious
Ex-Trump attorney Cohen hands over new documents to Congress By Mark Hosenball,Reuters 13 hours ago By Mark Hosenball WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump's former personal lawyer Michael Cohen provided the U.S. House of Representatives Intelligence Committee with new documents and may hand over more, the panel's chairman said after a day-long hearing behind closed doors. Democratic Representative Adam Schiff told reporters that Cohen was cooperative and the eight-hour hearing was "very productive." He did not say what the new documents related to and declined to comment on the substance of Cohen's testimony. "We had requested documents of Mr. Cohen. He has provided additional documents to the committee. There may be additional documents that he still has to offer and his cooperation with our committee continues," Schiff said. Cohen shared documents with lawmakers showing edits made to written testimony he provided to Congress in 2017, saying that an unsuccessful plan by Trump to build a tower in Moscow ended in January 2016, a congressional source said, confirming reports by CNN and the New York Times. Cohen subsequently pleaded guilty to lying to Congress in the testimony. He has since said pursuit of the Moscow project continued until June 2016, after Trump had clinched the Republican presidential nomination. During testimony last week, Cohen said Jay Sekulow, one of Trump's lawyers, was among those who edited the 2017 document. Sekulow has called Cohen's assertion "completely false." During the 2016 presidential campaign Trump denied he had any business dealings with Russia but has since defended the proposed tower project. Cohen in public testimony last week before a different House committee, called Trump, his employer for more than 10 years, a "racist," "conman" and "cheat." Cohen's lawyer, Lanny Davis, said in a statement that Cohen has now spent 16 hours testifying before the intelligence committee. "Mr. Cohen responded to all questions truthfully and has agreed at the request of chairman Schiff to provide additional information in the future, if needed. He also offered to answer additional questions from Republican members. He remains committed to telling the truth and cooperating with authorities," Davis added. Two congressional sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Cohen was also due to face questions from lawmakers on the issue of a pardon from his former boss. The sources added that Trump's representatives maintain that Cohen's team first raised the issue of receiving a pardon while the former lawyer's representatives have said the opposite. Intelligence panel members also were expected to question Cohen on Wednesday about Trump's discussions with advisers in 2017 about how to respond when news reports first surfaced revealing that senior campaign figures including his son Donald Trump Jr., son-in-law Jared Kushner and campaign chairman Paul Manafort met in June 2016 with a Kremlin-linked Russian lawyer, one of the sources said. Trump's son arranged the meeting after being promised "dirt" on Trump's Democratic opponent Hillarious Clinton. When news of the meeting broke, Trump Jr. issued a statement saying it was set up to discuss adoption policy, not politics. He later admitted he had been expecting intelligence on Clinton. Special Counsel Robert Mueller is completing an investigation into whether Trump's campaign conspired with Russia and whether the president has unlawfully sought to obstruct the probe. Trump has denied collusion and obstruction, Russia has denied election interference. Cohen is due to report to prison on May 6 to begin a three-year sentence after pleading guilty in a separate case last year to criminal charges including tax evasion, bank fraud and campaign finance violations. https://www.yahoo.com/news/ex-trump-attorney-cohen-hands-over-documents-congress-010611973--sector.html GO RV, then BV

The lawsuit filed Thursday in New York state court claims the Trump Organization stopped paying Cohen's mounting legal fees after he began cooperating with federal prosecutors. It alleges breach of contract and seeks damages on Cohen's behalf. Messages seeking comment have been left with the Trump Organization. The lawsuit says the company stopped paying for his legal defense about two months after the FBI raided Cohen's home and office. Fly you can Hate me for all you want. You're a decent human being with strong faith, how can I not respect that? Living the lie is a choice– too un-choose… not to double down too! What’s in your posts... From Leftist Narrative Bag of Tricks Misleading— Did I call you satan?... No! I pointed out a correlation between the name satan and santa. satan is ancient, powerful, highly intelligent, spirit being, the god of this system of things, ruler and authority of the air. (2Cor 4:4, Eph 2:2) I would have to be Childly foolish to make the statement; You are satan. You said; “So now I'm "Satan." Sensationalize— using capital letters to sell the narrative that I called you satan, interestingly though the wording “the kingdom of heaven” falls in the same category as using wording like; God the Son...it’s usage is misleading and this wording can’t be found anywhere in the Bible. Faults claims— There’s a big difference from what I stated; “shadowing leftists in treating others with a twisted narrative”, too; “you claim that I mistreat members here with my, twisted narrative.” Perhaps there is a guilty conscience here... No matter; not what I said, theses are your thoughts. All-in story: diverting guilt— “Prove it in my post from the last two months. And if you actually felt that way then why haven't you reported my post where you think I've been mistreating members?” “You can call me any name you feel the mods here will allow you to get away with, I've been called every name in the book,” I haven’t called anyone names, although the tactic is ingrained into your personality...at least it is on a chat forum where miss communication is set ablaze often ruling the day. I made this clear in my previous post...and making it clear again— “I know... even though You've made it obvious you still can’t see this.” Hence there is no need for me to entertain your thought’s here (“prove it in my post...”) as this is simply not what I said. The Hate card— Do I hate You?... No! But, I do abhor the falsehoods your trying to cram down my throat, and the worlds (this system of things) misleading falsehoods from twisting Gods words. I hate this ignorance...but not the man for his ignorance. Self emphasize— “BUT THE ONE THING YOU WILL NEVER DO IS MAKE ME STOP LOVING YOU.” I can appreciate the words, although this is what I believe and feel are acts of love. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous. It does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. (1Cor 13:4-8) Living the lie is a choice– too un-choose… not to double down too! Un-surprisingly you completely ignored my concluding sentence the Crux of my post, perhaps believing it’s been completely buried away forgotten under the weight your narrative. So ending with a closing patronize that boasts a venoms disapproval and a superior disrespect. My faith is built on an accurate knowledge from God’s word and continually strengthened through a personal relationship with our heavenly father Jehovah God, made possible through the merits of his only begotten son Jesus Christ. (John 17:3, Col 1:15, John 4:24) You have made it clear that my belief in Bible truth is the lie...disbelief! To now patronizing me saying; I have strong faith... who’s the liar now? That’s just blatant... venoms bite. I’m not sure if you think of yourself as a “decent human being”... but I’m a living man a child belonging to our Creator the true God Jehovah. So, I’m not fighting or arguing with anyone here, I provided you with constructive criticism to help support an understand to the meaning of my statement. It’s easy to get swept away by the spirit of this world. Example; you’re demonstrating that the spirit of this world awakening is to; argue, fight, demoralize, disrespect, because the Spirit of the world still asleep must be corrected. When the fact is the entire world system of things Is being tossed about by every wave of teaching. (Eph 4:14, Mat 7:13,14) Sheesh... Anyway the idea was nobody could lie 100% of the time...this is simply not true, as the entire world system of things today is a lie, contrived and controlled by satan... the lie being... man dose not need to live by Gods rule and would be better off without God. Sadly the first human couple joined with this rebellion by following in that lie, and through Adam’s seed this has been passed on (inherited sin) to all mankind (Gen 3:1-5) Pointing out the lie’s and hypocrisy of the left, this was introduced to you from the WWW. You don’t know the lie’s and hypocrisy of the right so as to point them out!... Why? Because you can’t see them, even though they have been there your whole life. Hint: I call it the worlds truth, this is not to be confused with spiritual truth, are you surprised that there are those who can’t see what you are just starting to see and believe...to be spiritual truth? Get a grip dude— I know you believe Trump is guided by Holy Spirit. No!! This is the Spirit of the world the truth of this system of things...time to wake yourself up! So, as a ruled...class— trained to be nationalist... you are a people divided through/by political, nationalistic and religious falsehoods, and with the intent on both sides is to remain that-a-way. “Christian” nationalist are on both sides of this worlds contrived issue... to say this is a problem would be a very gross understatement. And what is the end game outcome to all the nonsense of this system of things..? I know it’s been prayed for at Matthew 6: 9,10— Compare Daniel 2:44. If you want a fight don’t worry It’s coming with or without You. Shabibilicious
Cohen lawyer sends letter to Congress clarifying pardon talk MICHAEL R. SISAK Associated Press•March 13, 2019 FILE - In this March 6, 2019 file photo, Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former lawyer, speaks as he departs after testifying before a closed-door session of the House Intelligence Committee on Capitol Hill, in Washington. Cohen sues the Trump Organization, on Thursday, March 7, saying he is owed $1.9 million.(AP Photo/Alex Brandon, File) NEW YORK (AP) — Amid talk that former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen again lied to Congress, Cohen's lawyer sent a letter Tuesday to the head of the House Oversight Committee clarifying Cohen's testimony that he never sought a pardon from the president. Michael Monico told Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., in the letter that Cohen, once President Donald Trump's personal attorney, had asked his lawyer to explore the possibility of a pardon before Cohen left a joint-defense agreement and turned against Trump last June. Cohen hasn't done so since, Monico said. Monico denied Trump's claim, in a tweet last week, that Cohen had personally asked him for a pardon. Cohen's public committee testimony last month "could have been clearer and more complete" when it came to pardons, Monico wrote in the letter obtained by The Associated Press. Cohen's remarks about not seeking a pardon pertained to the time after his split from Trump, Monico said. "In retrospect, while the sentence could have been clearer regarding the time frames, the sentence is true, and Mr. Cohen stands by his statement," Monico wrote. Cummings' office didn't immediately respond to messages. Congressional investigators appeared to be zeroing in on the president's pardon power as Democrats embark on a series of sweeping investigations into Trump's political and personal dealings. Cohen declared under oath on Feb. 27 that "I have never asked for, nor would I accept, a pardon from President Trump." That statement, with millions of people watching on television, set off a firestorm that culminated on Friday with Trump's tweet calling Cohen a liar and alleging he had "directly asked" for a pardon. Before that, Cohen's lawyer and spokesman, Lanny Davis, and Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani went back and forth in dueling interviews, trading their own versions of events. "Bad lawyer and fraudster Michael Cohen said under sworn testimony that he never asked for a Pardon," Trump tweeted. "His lawyers totally contradicted him. He lied! Additionally, he directly asked me for a pardon. I said NO. He lied again!" Cohen, who is slated to begin a three-year prison sentence in May, denied that in a tweet of his own minutes later. He called Trump's allegations "just another set of lies." Monico reiterated that denial in his letter to Cummings, saying Cohen never asked Trump for a pardon and that Trump never offered one. Monico said Cohen had asked his previous lawyer to ask about a possible pardon after an FBI raid on his New York City home, office and hotel room in April 2018 because Trump had "publicly dangled the possibility of pardons when commenting about ongoing investigations." "With that in mind, as a past member of the joint defense team, Mr. Cohen asked his then attorney to discuss with another Trump attorney possible pardon options consistent with the President's prior public declarations," Monico said. Nothing ever came of that effort, he said. Giuliani said last Thursday he was contacted in May or June about a possible pardon for Cohen. He said his answer was that the president "is not going to consider or give any pardons now." "As I have said in the past, the president has the right to, and that doesn't mean he won't consider it when the investigation is over," Giuliani said. "But there are no plans to do so." As controversy grew over Cohen's pardon remarks, his legal team stressed that he was one of Trump's closest confidants and if he wanted a pardon, he would have just asked Trump himself. There is nothing inherently improper about a subject in a criminal investigation seeking a pardon from a president given the president's wide latitude in granting them. But investigators want to know if the prospects of presidential pardons were somehow offered or used inappropriately. Congressional investigators are also looking into whether anyone on Trump's legal team tried quietly to reach out to Cohen last year before he turned on the president and as his legal problems mounted. The House Judiciary Committee, which is conducting a probe into possible obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of power, sent letters to the FBI, the Justice Department and others for documents related to possible pardons for Cohen, former national security adviser Michael Flynn and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. All three have been charged in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into possible coordination between Russia and Trump's presidential campaign. https://news.yahoo.com/cohen-lawyer-sends-letter-congress-clarifying-pardon-talk-040529905--politics.html?.tsrc=jtc_news_index GO RV, then BV
