BAGHDAD, Iraq -

Said Hamid Husseini, director general of the Iranian-Iraqi Chamber of Commerce, said in a press statement today that Abdul Mahdi told Iranian President Hassan Rowhani during his visit to Baghdad a few days ago that Abadi was allowing the Americans to intervene directly in the work of the Central Bank of Iraq. He accused Abdul-Mahdi Abadi of allowing Washington to impose instructions and dictations on the Central Bank of Iraq and circulated to the Iraqi banks, especially with regard to transactions with Iran. These statements coincide with the facilities and economic concessions large Iraqi and Iranian sources said that Abdul-Mahdi gave to Iran during a meeting with Rohani in Baghdad.

I see big trouble here.

BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
Iranian President Hassan Rowhani described relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq as a model in the region, declaring Iran's willingness to establish the best relations with its neighbors just like with Iraq.
"Although the United States, the Zionists and some reactionary countries in the region are exerting pressure on the Iranian people with all their might, we will continue our path and develop our relations with our dear neighbors day by day," Rouhain said in a speech to a mass rally in the southern Iranian city of Bushehr.
"Relations between Iran and Iraq are exemplary relations in the region and we are ready to have relations with all neighbors as we do with Iraq," Rohani said.
"The agreement between the two countries, Iran and Iraq, is free of entry visas," he said. "During the year, 7 million people from both countries visit each other, and the free visa can greatly facilitate visits."
"The will of all the great references and elites of the two countries is to deepen the friendly and good relations between Iran and Iraq, and we will develop relations with our neighbors day after day," he said. .
Rohani said that our three-day visit to Iraq and the consensus reached during the visit mean that relations are not limited to the two governments, but rather are relations between all segments, groups and political, social and religious figures.
"We want friendly relations with all our neighbors," he said. "We want to have good relations with all our neighbors, and if there is a problem they are starting on their side."
"We have good relations with our neighbors such as Qatar, Oman, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan, and we want to be with all our neighbors," he said.
President Rohani said that the issue is not a Shiite issue or a Sunni or northern Persian Gulf or southern region, but our goal should be the development of the entire region.

BAGHDAD, Iraq -

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraqi Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani is planning to issue a religious fatwa to review the case of volunteers to fight against a "popular rally," days after he met Iranian President Hassan Rowhani, Iraqi media reported. The sources quoted a source in Najaf, who did not name it, as saying that "the reference will reconsider the volunteers' file, given the absence of circumstances that called for their volunteering, after Iraq declared the final victory over a preacher." The source added that the Iraqi reference "demanded the Iranian President Hassan Rowhani during their meeting on Wednesday, with the help of the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi, to disarm Iraqi armed groups close to Tehran, active in Iraq and Syria." After a meeting between Rouhani and Sistani, the Office of the latter issued a statement stating that Iraq faces several challenges, most notably "combating corruption, improving public services and limiting arms to the state and its security services." This is what observers saw as a clear signal from Mr. Sistani that he was disturbed by the chaos on factions The popular crowd, and many of them with the government's inability to control, especially after the detection of dozens of the headquarters of the phantom of the gangs of the character of the "crowd" and doing work outside the law. According to political analyst Imad Mohammed, "The religious authority can not get involved in such a fatwa in such a frank manner, because the popular crowd is a security institution of the government, although it is a formality, but it has a law that regulates its work and determines its responsibilities, and the reference can support this trend and issue a circular or fatwa On the factions that do not belong within the body of popular mobilization in a formal manner. " He added in a statement Safhi, "The armed factions outside the framework of the crowd is the concern of the government and the reference and the parliament, because of the inability to control and limit, some of them fought against the organization and advocates, and believes that it is unfair to resolve and end its role, so adhere to any form of existence and create a role To convince others of the importance of its existence, and this is the majority of the factions of the crowd, which have not been so far in the ranks of the body. A struggle to join the body and according to a source familiar with the popular crowd, the conflict raging within the body, to include more armed factions to their ranks, but the budget set by the Iraqi government to prevent the possibility of applying it, "and it forced leaders in the crowd to Follow another plan that ensures acceptable interests for all ". The source, who requested anonymity, that "the plan (b) adopted by the leaders of the popular mobilization in terms of joining the official body, is to grant a share of each faction in the armed crowd, to satisfy him, and to prevent the acquisition of discounts and disputes, In the form of the mobilization of the organization of Al-Najba, and like Al-Nassib, as well as the rest of the factions and organizations. " This division began by the source since last year, and is still to the present time, "especially after the approval of the House of Representatives on equal pay of the elements of the crowd salaries of the army and police, and this doubled the competition, and create a kind of bickering between the various parties." The crowd includes about 120,000 officially registered members of the Iraqi government, but the number of volunteers who have volunteered during the invasion has been urging several Iraqi cities to reach about two million, local reports said.

Abadi KNEW THEN AS NOW The United States Of America Patriots ARE his FRIEND AND the Insanian leaning Bicraqi Iraqi ARE NOT Abdul Mahdi's FRIEND!!!

So, if Abdul Mahdi turns out to be a WEASEL like Ole Mr. Potato Head Nouri al-Maliki, Abdul Mahdi WILL GET the SQUEASEL - NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!!

So, Bicraqi Iraqi Abdul Mahdi AND Insanian Prez'dent Hassan Rouhani KNOW WHAT IS COMING LIKE PRONTO AND ARE PUBLICALLY CRYING ABOUT IT!!!

WHEN the "TIMEZUP" is ANNOUNCED, the CBI via the COMPELLING direction of The United States Of America Treasury (UST) WILL PUT THE WHACK DOWN/SMACK DOWN on ALL the Insanian Related Banking in Iraq AND ALL THE BICRAQI IRAQI BANKS/PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNTS associated with supporting the Insanians AND the Insanian activity in Iraq!!!

HOW, pray tell, are the Bicraqi Iraqi going to pay for THEIR INTERNATIONAL transactions WITH (POTENTIALLY) SANCTIONS REQUIRING THE WEEKDAY CORRUPT BICRAQI IRAQI CBI DAILY CURRENCY AUCTIONS FUELING THE INSANIAN TERRORIST MACHINE TO BE SHUT DOWN???!!!

I was surprised about the 45 day then another 90 day exemption on Bicraqi Iraqi trade with Iran AND NOT shutting down the Bicraqi Iraqi Banking Funding of the Insanians in Iraq.

MAYBE BABY the SHUT DOWN of the corrupt weekday Bicraqi Iraqi CBI currency auctions is NIGH UPON US???!!!

Hey Synopsis maybe the sanctions were delayed for 90 days so this could be exposed and you are right they need to stop the auctions and sanction those Iraqi banks that are dealing with Iran

:twothumbs: I Agree, GreedyDinar07, AND The Very Best Of Your Up Coming Week To You!!! :tiphat:

What I find interesting is there is some news regarding banking corruption, even related to the Insanians, AND then the corrupt weekday Bicraqi Iraqi CBI daily currency auctions drop by about a third (nominally 200 million USD/day to nominally 130 million per day) then work their way eventually back up to 200 million USD/day.

So, I suspect corruption IS being crimped. However, being the "most accomplished bunch of thieves ever", the "most accomplished bunch of thieves ever" find other means to intimidate or pay off until THEY get whacked THEN find others to corrupt AND so on as the process repeats itself.

My gut feel is the UST at the Bicraqi Iraqi CBI is the "atomic option" to cease AND desist ALL  "most accomplished bunch of thieves ever".

Hey, I suspect the "atomic option" is as easy as THIS:

Improving the relationship between Iraq and Iran is not cause for concern

Translation: Anis Saffar

Last week Iranian President Hassan Rowhani paid a visit to Iraq. The visit was friendly and took quite a while and resulted in the conclusion of several bilateral agreements in the fields of trade and transport. Such an event would have to affect the Trump administration with a burning scale, as well as others who believe that the only viable way to deal with Iran is to try to isolate and damage it.
The factors of history and geography between the two countries are pushing Iraq and Iran today to seek closer ties between them. This is a logical step that the two countries have not had to take, so Americans do not need to feel such a sting.
Iraq and Iran also share a border of more than 1400 kilometers. Often, the two countries also share problems along these borders, such as the problem of the restive Kurdish minority and the old border dispute on the Shatt al-Arab corridor. For example, Iran has provided support and support to the insurgency by the Iraqi Kurds as a means of putting pressure on Baghdad, but has reverted to it as part of an agreement under which Iraq has made concessions on the border along the Shatt al-Arab.
The experience that deeply affected both countries was the devastating war between Iraq and Iran during the years 1980 to 1988 that Saddam Hussein launched against Iran. That war has caused hundreds of thousands of casualties. The lesson that the Iranian leaders have come out of is that there should be a regime in Baghdad that is friendly to Iran that does not repeat what Saddam did. As well as Iraq, which has suffered the scourge of that costly war, it has come out of that conflict with similar lessons: the need to establish stable relations with its eastern neighbor.
Hence the contradiction between Trump's approach, which is based on dragging the whole world to participate in the campaign to renounce and punish Iran, and these fixed geographical and historical facts. Iraqis, for all their political leanings, see the United States' efforts to coerce Iraq into joining the pressure campaign as a poor attempt to export its pathological obsession with Iraq's interests, which is why they resent it. This resentment was demonstrated last month after Trump said in an interview that he wanted to keep a US military base in Iraq because, he said, "he wants to keep Iran under consideration because it is a real problem." Then Iraqi President Barham Salih replied, speaking to his countrymen, saying, "Do not weigh Iraq on your own, because we are the ones who live here." Iraqi Shiite cleric Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani said: Iraq to become a springboard for harming any other country. "
Except for the security reasons, which make Iraq and Iran are keen together to establish relations between them and avoid causing problems to each other, there are economic reasons because both Iraq and Iran need to trade between them. Iraq, in particular, depends on its imports of natural gas and electricity from Iran to meet its energy needs. Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi described how the Iraqis suffered from the economic embargo imposed by the United States during Saddam Hussein's rule. "Iraq will not be part of the regime, Sanctions against Iran or any other people. "
There are still other disagreements between Iraq and Iran, but the Iraqis know and remember that Iran's most important bid for them in recent years has been to help them liberate large parts of their western country under the influence of the so-called "Islamic state" or " Iran was the most important source of external aid in defeating the organization (an aid that did not come conditional on negotiations to maintain military bases on Iraqi soil under the pretext of "monitoring" Iran's opponents and opponents). Perhaps the sense of the value of this aid was among the reasons that made the spiritual impact Which he received in his visit surrounded by honor and Fawh, and part of this success, full of meetings with officials and businessmen, and the elders of Iraqi clans and other series. In contrast, President Trump's quick visit to Iraq last December was quick, far from the limelight, and was no more than landing at night at a US military base without meeting any Iraqi leader.
One of the most important and major consequences of the regime-change war waged by a former US administration in Iraq 16 years ago was the intensification of Iranian influence in Iraq to a large extent. Today, there is a new American administration that is different from that, a management that seems determined to change another regime in the region with the same indifference, perhaps misunderstanding, of the region, its nature and the consequences of that change. The war makers of 2003 did not necessarily intend to strengthen Iranian influence in Iraq, so the rise of this power should be seen as another failure of that war. But now that this influence has become a reality, America can no longer be roared by it, or not before answering the question: "What will Iran gain from its growing influence?" The most important goal Iran has sought to achieve in Iraq is the defeat of " ", A goal agreed upon by the United States.
It is still in the interest of the United States for a post-Saddam Iraq to remain a stable, prosperous and peaceful country, so it would not be in its interest to pressure him to take part in the economic war that would damage Iraq itself.
Nor is it in the interest of the United States to push Iraqis to violate their constitution, a constitution they put in place by encouraging and nurturing the United States after the overthrow of Saddam. Some of the reason for this was to prevent the country from sliding back into regional conflicts and conflicts as it did during the era of the former Iraqi dictator. One of the most important "fundamental principles" in this Constitution is Article 8 which says:
"Iraq will remain in compliance with the principles of good neighborliness and adhere to the principles of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, seeking to resolve differences by peaceful means and establish relations on the basis of mutual mutual interests respectful of its international obligations."
These are all good principles.

Hmmm.  I'm just not getting it.  (One of us is a dummy, and I'm sure it's not you.). 😂

If Trump puts sanctions on Iran and Iraq, that means they BOTH can't use the dollar.  Does that make Iraq HAVE TO raise the exchange rate of the Dinar?  Couldn't they use Euros like Iran is doing?

Trade agreements between Iraq and Iran worry Washington

Hassan El Hajj

Washington repeated its statements on Iraq calling for the necessity of the latter's commitment to the US sanctions imposed on Iran. The invitation came after President Hassan Rowhani's visit to Iraq, which carried a lot of economic files and trade between the two countries.

This position has raised the resentment of Washington, which wants to impose sanctions on Iraq forcibly, although repeatedly stressed the difficulty of applying this to the country's external commitments. At the end of last year, the current Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said that the US sanctions against Iran is not international, , Pointing out that we are not part of the system of US sanctions on Iran.

MPs from various political blocs stressed that Iraq has interests with all countries and no country has the right to impose its will on it, especially that the US sanctions on Iran is not international.

In the same subject, the MP of the Fath Alliance, Fadel Jaber, stressed that Iraq is a sovereign country and plays a pivotal role in the region and the world and seeks its central interests with neighboring countries. He pointed out that the economic sanctions against Iran are individual sanctions. "Iraq is a sovereign country with common interests with all countries, including the Islamic Republic," Jaber said in an interview. "Iraq is a people and a government that is not concerned with individual and worthless sanctions issued by Washington away from the European Union and the Security Council.

He pointed out that Iraq looks at its interest with neighboring countries and the world and good economic, security and political dealings with all countries. "The current government is open to all Arab and regional countries. The US sanctions on Tehran are individual sanctions, and we are not concerned with them except as a legislative or governmental authority.

He continued: "The Iraqi government discussed a few days ago cooperation with Iranian President Hassan Rowhani and emphasis on the development of relations between the two sides." Pointing out that the majority of countries are not with any economic sanctions except Washington and some countries hostile to Iran, stressing that the government is moving towards drawing a new map with Iran away from Washington's hostile policy.

For his part, the MP of the Alliance for Reform and Reconstruction Khaled al-Geshmi, Iraq is a sovereign country that determines its interests with all countries and not with the interests and wishes of Washington or others, calling on the decision-making in the Iraqi government to seek the unity and interest of Iraq land and people away from the interests of States and stand with it In a trench against the neighboring countries.

"Iraq is a sovereign country governed by international law and not the desires and whims of Washington or other countries in the hostility of neighboring countries," al-Geshmi said in an interview. Noting: There are joint and strong files between Iraq and Iran and there is economic and trade cooperation, pointing out that the economic sanctions imposed by Washington against Tehran can not be met. He continued: Iraq has concluded previous international agreements can not be canceled unless there are new international conventions and texts.

HOW, pray tell, are the Bicraqi Iraqi going to IMMEDIATELY switch to a corrupt weekday Bicraqi Iraqi CBI dailly currency auction in EUROs instead of USD ESPECIALLY since THERE IS NO income from crude oil with USD???!!!

In THIS scenario with my limited mental model, the Bicraqi Iraqi have NO choice BUT to comply with the sanctions EPECIALLY with the UST at the Bicraqi Iraqi CBI.

WITH the sanctions complied with, I suspect FURTHER hurt is put on the Insanians by the Bicraqi Iraqi Dinar going INTERNATIONAL AND opening the foreign investment IN Iraq. The gap created by the termination of the Bicraqi Iraqi/Insanian trade would be quickly filled by project completions to fill the gap of electricity AND gas AND oil AND oil products previously from the Insanians.
