3 of the 3 political power parties in Kurdistan, which shld never be more than a province inside Iraq, have met and agreed the Presidency of their area/country shld never be elected by the people. They shld be elected by a politi-borough.  Hmmm. Sounds like they have agreed how to enrich themselves and let the people worry about it. Also, don't sound like a ddemocracy to me. Just a money grabbing operation to me.

A former deputy proposes a smart card to ensure that the region's funds do not go to the balances of ruling parties

BAGHDAD / Al-Masala: The former deputy in the federal parliament and the current leadership in the mobility of the new generation, Sarwa Abdul Wahid, that paying employees through smart cards through the Iraqi banks in Kurdistan will ensure that the region's money goes to the pockets of the ruling parties.

Sarwa, in a tweet on Twitter, said that "the federal government to get rid of the embarrassment of paying the salaries of employees in the Kurdistan region directly and through the smart card through the Iraqi banks in the region."

"The money is not paid to the ruling parties to expand their influence at the expense of the people," she said.

He criticized the researcher Majid Allawi, the way by which the government of Abdul Mahdi, file dues of the region, which did not comply with the terms of agreements with the federal government, which was drawn according to the Constitution, considering that the budget and a simple calculation approved 20% of the budget as a share of the region in the event of the Government of the Territory to promote non-oil resources In the budget, and the proportion becomes 23.3% (not 12.67%) of the state budget if it does not contribute to the strengthening of non-oil resources.

Allawi wondered: After this abandonment, what did or will do the trustees on the people's money, and how will the government follow up the implementation of this budget mainly harmful? Where, as usual, the Government of the Territory, since the first day, every commitment to it under the approved budget, and addressed: "Thanks to the Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and Finance Minister Fouad Hussein for their financial obligations to the region."

The position of the "obelisk," which was published this week, towards the file of the financial relationship between Baghdad and Erbil, that Erbil politicians are growing on Barzani, because they recognize the weakness of Abdul Mahdi and his inability to make a decision, and did not keen to satisfy his people, as provoked the leaders of Erbil.

And addressed the position of the obituary, Abdul Mahdi, comparing him to the President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Massoud Barzani: Do not decline as you are at the expense of the people of your community and your people, and the calamity you are not alone in "tarnish" Barzani's excesses, but the political forces that you have, to miss the achievements of the previous government era Oil and Kirkuk because of your weakness and your hesitation about the courageous decision.

The situation continued: Was not it better for you, first, to respect the people of your people in the center and south, and meet their demands, and to act responsibly with their money, even grievance in the name of "community peace."

I can imagine the Epic amount of discourse that must take place daily what with the GOI Having 210 political parties aligned with other larger groups:ideological differences must generate a level of chaos unknown to us. Then you plug in the Kurds with their agenda.

Description for a or a hot mess: see 🇮🇶 Iraq.

They’ve come a long way since their 1st election in 2005.... they still have a long road ahead. Recent developments will help smooth out some of the rougher bumps in the road.

I think thy have a long road ahead BUT that is going to be the case regardless of when they change the value... this part of the world has been chaos for thousands of years and will be for thousands more. Might as well have chaos in a comfy chair, not sitting on a boulder!
