Direct sales of the Central Bank of Iraq from foreign currency, on Monday, a slight decline recorded 183.02 million dollars, compared to sales of $ 183.06 million auction Sunday.

The Central Bank said in a statement that the exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of 28 banks, without the presence of financial transfer companies.

The bank said the sales were the result of an auction on Tuesday, showing total sales totaled $ 206.47 million.

According to the statement, the amount sold to boost bank balances abroad was $ 182.22 million, while the total cash sold was estimated at $ 800,000.

The sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price.

Foreign currency sales to Iraq's central bank fell Monday to $ 183.06 million from Sunday's $ 190.86 million.

Direct sales of the Central Bank of Iraq from foreign currency, on Tuesday, to 139.93 million dollars, compared to sales of 183.02 million dollars Monday auction, about 43.09 million dollars.

The Central Bank said in a statement that the exchange rate reached 1190 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of only 25 banks.

The bank said the sales were the results of an auction on Wednesday, explaining that the total sales totaled 161.14 million dollars.

According to the statement, the amount sold to strengthen bank balances abroad was $ 139.13 million, while the total cash sold was estimated at $ 22 million.

The sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price.

Baghdad - The Central Bank of Iraq (CBE)
sold more than $ 108 million to the Iraqi government on Thursday. 

The Central Bank of Iraq during the auction for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies today a decline in sales to reach 108 million and 924 thousand dollars covered by the bank exchange rate basis of 1190 dinars per dollar, compared to Wednesday, which amounted to sales of 175 million and 3 thousand dollars. 

The distribution of the request by 92 million and 134 thousand dollars to strengthen the assets abroad in the form of remittances and credits, while the rest of the remaining amount of 16 million and 790 thousand dollars covered by the bank at an exchange rate of 1190 dinars per dollar.

 


While none of the banks of 17 banks and one conversion company participating in the auction of currency offered any offers to sell the dollar. 

The Central Bank is holding daily sessions for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies, except for official holidays which the bank stops these auctions.

Direct sales of the Central Bank of Iraq fell to $ 92.3 million on Thursday, compared to sales of $ 151.76 million Wednesday, down $ 59.46 million.

The Central Bank said in a statement that the exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of 17 banks, in addition to one financial transfer company only.

The bank added that the sales executed today are the results of the auction on Sunday, explaining that the total sales totaled $ 108.92 million.

Amounts sold to strengthen bank balances abroad were $ 92.1 million, with total cash sold at $ 200,000, according to the statement.

According to the statement, the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at 1190 dinars per dollar, while the sale of cash will be at the same price.

The Central Bank of Iraq's foreign exchange sales rose to 151.76 million dollars  on Wednesday , compared to sales of 139.93 million dollars on Tuesday, an increase of 11.83 million dollars.
